@@frapollo94 actually the old version was actually harder much harder if you play physical only, for example if you play as the merc or knight you were fucked if you didn't get spells because half of the enemies in the game had a very high dodge much higher than the base game,
fear and hunger was originally a SPELL centric game, where magic has a huge advantage over physical attacks, not only did magic ignore dodge, it also had a higher change of removing limbs, however it was balanced by the fact that getting mind restoring items was much harder, so spells were used similar to throwables which were also way stronger since there was less.

Its actually a feature with RPGmaker that you can traverse with the mouse but Miro must have disabled it, Ive been tinkering with RPGmaker so im pretty sure this is the case
Yeah I am connecting the dots now, this video was recorded before I realised that there's a mousedisable plugin which gets rid of this function
@@frapollo94 I wonder if it’s because the game would make you walk over bear traps or nails if you used the mouse? Perhaps he couldn’t figure out a fix for it and just removed mouse movement?
It could be that there's bugs with mouse input. My first playthrough I didn't realize my mouse was partially on screen, so even though I was using keyboard controls the cursor's malevolent presence forced me to target whatever body part was closest to the mouse.
@@Tulkop Same here, I was really confused for a while with my character hitting the wrong limbs.
@@Tulkop I noticed a similar bug too, when I was alt-tabbing frequently.
This guy has made one of the most disturbing games ever created and turned it into a kindergarten playground.

This one's a bit hard to explain, but people mostly use it for comedic effect to descibe large, aggressive dogs in an otherwise serious situation. Like a bit of dark humor? Maybe an example will help explain better than I can: Imagine you are watching a police bodycam video, and they let loose a police dog. Somebody might comment "Welp, there goes the bork bork. That criminal is screwed". Sorry if that explanation isn't clear enough!

@@frapollo94Bow Wow is another one that people forgot. It's also a bit of comedic effect though, but unlike Bork Bork, it's for more cartoonish effect. Usually robot dogs or people/other animals pretending to be a dog.

English has a lot of different dog sounds since dogs have lots of different ways of barking. "bow wow" or "woof" or "ruff" or, more recently "bork" and "boof"

Rpg maker devs understimate the power of debuffs on enemies like i remember in lisa the painful there is an enemy with 99999 hp but if you poisen it and stun lock the boss you can actually beat it

is this the version where War Scythe was absolutely broken, with 98% accuracy and higher base damage ? Or was it exclusively in the Full Release ?
This version should still have it, but unfortunately I was too interested to taking down grogoroth that I forgor to try it!

5:40 Mouse implementation is a very basic rpgmaker tool default setting. He disabled it by choice, I would assume. Same with the demos save sound. Free sfx asset.

I remember watching Tolomeo playing this way back in the day, have probably watched his first run three times now, I didn't know you couldn't stun gro'goroth anymore! That's how he managed to beat him on the hardest difficulty without any summons back then
Oh I liked that trotur and buckman interaction, wonder why it got deleted. Also, the lucky coins were added in the first game for request of fans apparently, after he introduced the mechanic in termina, so i think it was more of a fan request than a reference

@@frapollo94 the one by mattieFM, it has a multiplayer mod for fear and hunger 1 & 2! i have yet to understand how it all works but I think you may find it fun especially if you can play it with your friends and that's more content for you my friend.

I have a question, even though it isnt in the topic. So, recently i was going to the salmonsnake, and had to fight against the crawling guy. Is it okay that after i killed him his dead body was sometimes moving with a sound of insects or something like this. Even after i took his skin off, his body was still moving

this was the only version I've played actually, fear and hunger first got popular though 4chan threads and memes, and back then everyone was sharing the first beta versions, and the game died out, it only became popular much later, so much has changed but I didn't bother to play it again, but looking at walkthroughs they really fucking nerfed the dark priest and the outlander they used to be the best, and the mercenary used to be trash

Marriage prevents all S endings, BUT.
if you equip enki with soul anchor AND AFTER THAT you become a marriage, then you can still get S ending

I have a question regarding the current version of fear & Hunger 1 , the strongest weapon in the game is the purified eastern sword right? and second would be blue sin? because i wonder if getting sergal spear in your opinion if it's worth it or no, cuz i had a save file where i had purified eastern sword and miasma with blue sin so i was wondering thx in advance
Sergal spear if you have 2 hands is objectively better than miasma, also be sure to curse the blue sin so that it has a chance to burn opponents!

I mixed some op tactics from your videos and all bones jones, i play as cahara with en garde+escape plan+angel soul+ blue sin and it's so broken next run i try with 2 purified easten sword the game is too easy but yeah thx u again for the videos

Yeah I realised it later, the plugin to disable it was not present in this version
i think both wau wau and wuff wuff can be said in english.speaking countrys, like in germany most say wuff wuff bit wau wau is still used somewhat,i assume the same for english cpuntry, like wau wau is used more but wuff wuff is still used/known somewhat

In F&H1 you cannot crit doors, cause when the battle starts everyone gets -500% crit chance

enki got nerfed so bad, i remember he used to have the same stats and beable to use all types of weapons two handed and one handed and armour as well as one shot with all of his spells
the ENTIRE POINT of enki was that all his attacks were certain hits thats why he was much weaker in other aspects, like the fact that he starts with less items and he doesn't get a better quest line, but after spells got nerfed enki started being shit

Playing with the mouse actually comes out with the default engine, so they didn't put it in just to remove it later they probably just removed it after realizing it exists

throwing items used to be very rare so obviously they had to be 100% hits same with spells since back then mind was very rare to restore

RPGMaker has mouse controls by default. Miro had to have cut them out for some reason.
