Honestly, they just jelly they couldn't pull-off high sock like Enki does, or the big... guns guard have.

There are some valid complaints here. I love it when the conclusion to a review of a game that doesn't suit someone is, "not for me" rather than "bad gaem". I mean, I bounced off of this game quite hard, just because I discovered it at a time when I was busy with IRL stuff. I still think that this is a pretty good game, I just don't have the time to dedicate to learning it...anyway, some of the arguments in those reviews are quite funny. I dunno about the one with keybindings. From what I remember, I thought that everything related to controls was pretty standard for rpgmaker-style games. Though, I do have to admit, I do love seeing mah boy Squee represented in the review(don't mind me, this is a Magic The Gathering reference).

Some people are not open minded enough for this game. They see it's an RPG game, they'll think the difficult stuff is enemies with powerful skills and ton of hp. Fear & Hunger is not interested in that, it does not want you to fight every fight, it does not want you to explore every area, it does not want you to think you are in for another generic RPG game. One part of the difficulty comes in with the dilemmas you'll have to go through, but some people simply don't understand that. Keep it up 🙌

After playing Fear and Hunger for a while, you'll discover that the true horrors that lurks inside the dungeon is the frame drops because my god the frame drops caused me much more stress than dealing with crow mauler or what not because as sooner or later, you'll get the hang of dealing with them. The frame rate though? Nope, you can only try to press everything hoping your character don't done goof cause of the lag.

  • @DeviBuster

I went into the game completely blind and immediately got that there wasn't a point in fighting the dogs at the start, like assumed the barking was a warning meant to force the player into the dungeon as soon as possible. Idk why someone would think otherwise

  • @driphearts8035

Fear & Hunger is the definition of an acquired tasted. The pure black coffee of video games. It's painful, unforgiving, and cruel to your senses. But, after a few sips and attempts, can't get enough of them.

  • @snappishtemperament213

The guys complaining about the hounds are probably the same guys who would die in DnD on their first encounter because the DM made the match specifically to illustrate that you both can and should run from fights sometimes and they couldn't take the hint

Reviewing fear and hunger when you’ve played less than an hour is just kinda sad. It took me a good hour or so to start having fun with it but now it’s my favorite game ever. Those guys are missing out

I love how perfect guards are in design gameplay wise. I love how fucked it is that guards still atrack after dying, showing that one must always be careful even if op.

Scrubs will be scrubs, has been the same since ancient times. I love this game even if my first run literally ended after entering after fighting off the dogs, finding a necronomicon on the very first bookshelf and going insane on the coin flip.

  • @TheBoogieMan1997

I still remember a quote from a movie that really stuck with me when playing this game.

"Your mouse cursor can target limbs."

  • @Jetavo3217

I love the way you pronounce "two"

  • @PainbowSheep

Kudos to you for making the game better

  • @pallingtontheshrike6374

funger is actually really similar to rain world, it’s an extremely hostile environment with very fragile characters and very obtuse tools, the main difference is that rain world isn’t quite as dependent on rng for resource distribution as it is map size to spread tools apart

  • @epk3960

"i hate fronger because there are a lot of sausages"

  • @Pancaketophat

This honestly feels more like a survival puzzle game than a standard RPG. That's the mindset I have with it and it's made the game a lot more enjoyable.

  • @dumbvillage9253

Based on my experience, Fear and Hunger(at least Termina) can be usually beaten on the normal difficulity even with garbage rng.

  • @shushupyounaughtyminx4832

Hi Frapollo, I would enjoy seeing some Termina streams, I think seeing people discover new things is the best for this type of game especially, and Termina has lots of hidden little things like the first game.
