Thanks for the very good info, I just bought a blue one. I got the tank grips and protector, also the engine guards and the windshield. At the back the luggage rack, front the fender extender. For the rest I will have to experience what else needed. The roads in Europe are maybe better, not in Belgium they are bad, small country roads in France can have a bad surface.
Is this capable for going extreme mountain terrains offloading & bad sloppy roads like Spiti valley, north sikkim & Arunachal etc . Or should I pay some extra to get the scrambler 400 X. I am asking for suggestions cause if I buy this then I would be able to save few thousand rupees. Or I should pay fee thousand extra for extra benifits or it can do it all ?
Not yet! Make sure you keep it idle for atleast 2-3 minutes every time you start up after some hours, and, don't turn off the engine unless the radiator fan turns off.
@@aritrabasu4366but i don’t understand the logic behind it as you said, today i received the bike they said some software glitch was there they updated it
@@debasishdas6365 the logic is that you should give the engine some free-run time for oil to circulate to every parts of the engine, before starting on the journey. Mine is just a month old, but on days I don't idle it for at least 2-3 minutes before the journey, it tends to stall in bumper to bumper traffic especially when downshifting or slowing down. On days that I idle it and let it run a few minutes on a cold start, I don't face the issue.

@UnknownUser0x01 if you are planning for offroad proper then go for scrambler400X. Speed 400 can do a little off-road, but the tyre size is small.
Check out the RevZilla video where they go to the highest road in the world. You can see how the Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X compare.

bike is really unstable at high speeds if you hit a deep pothole it will wobble like a tractor
@flyingbullet-53 no I won't agree with you, I have driven my bike at the highest speed of above 160 and mostly it's stable.
