    Hi George, (Speed 400 not Scram) with a replacement exhaust, personally I would love one which has no, or only a very modest upsweep at the silencer end to enable a pair of saddle bags to be fitted. I'm also very keen to see a full set of replacement rear gear sprockets as it seems Triumph havent got the gearing correct. I think that should make improvements throughout the range, including reducing vibration at the top end and making the bike for more suitable for touring holidays.

    Iike many Triumph riders l bought into the classic look but want cheaper alternative classic parts , rather than taking out a second mortgage for Triumph OEM Parts.
    Could Tec provide more classic parts, like levers footrests, proper vintage style mudguards etc.
    I appreciate some riders like all this tail tidy look but some of us over 50 riders like the classic look and cheaper prices 👌

    @20:53 Those are the type of Guards that I wish I could Have on my Street Twin 900, an Indian Company made an exact similar to those on the 900 and I believe that TEC can make the same and even Better😊, the reason I wish those type of engine Guards is because the street Twin 900 is prone to break the gear shifter shaft on a small fall on that side. I had In mind to send you an email about it after my last purchase from you (which I'm very pleased about the products) but at the same time I worried to bother you 😂

    What difference does the screen make? I was thinking of a taller one as, on my 400, I get fairly pelted with flies. Have the Triumph luggage rack, it's fine, and bought Aviator pannier rails from India. They are not compatible with the Triumph part. Love my bike, done nearly 2,000 miles - perfect for twisty roads in the North of Scotland. The seat is not comforable after 100 miles, would like to tour to Portugal. Have done that trip on a Honda SH350i scooter, and a Himalayan. What difference would the replacement seat make? The higher gearing sounds good.

      The low screen we have works great, we tried several heights with different size riders and found screens any higher caused the air to be deflected to the riders head /helmet area causing a lot of helmet noise at speed

    Hiya George, I recieved my tail tidy for my Speed 400, very quick and prompt service. It fitted absolutely spot on, and only took about half an hour to fit. I`m definitely interested in the span adjustable levers. One thing i think DOES need changing, is the chaiguard, it`s bloody awful, it`s very short, leaving a massive gap between the chainguard and the engine, and siits far too high above the chain. It might be a good thing on the Scrambler 400, but the Speed 400 needs a much better neater closer fitting design, any chance of you guys making one?. I did speak to several other Speed 400 owners at the Triumph day at the Sammy Miller Museum in New Milton yesterday, and they all agree`d it`s bloody awful, so if you guys decide to make one, i`l be one of your first customers. I`m also very interested in the larger front sprocket, i always feel when i pull away, i`m hardly moving at all, and then i need to change gear.

    • @georgemilburn6213
      @georgemilburn6213 Месяц назад

      Yes. As I say in the video it is only applicable to the Scram 400, we are working at up gearing the Speed too But will probably need a smaller rear sprocket. Or a special 16 T front sprocket, But I think clearance is marginal for that.

    • @markpavlowski7223
      @markpavlowski7223 Месяц назад

      @@georgemilburn6213 Yes...I think a couple of U.S. users are going to try to work out a 16 however consensus is it will have to be via the rear.

      @@georgemilburn6213 The chainguard on the Speed 400 sits very high above the chain, ridiculously high in fact, so a larger front sprocket will be fine, unless you are talking about clearance between the sprocket and engine casings?.

    Why can't you use a de-cat system?
