Good to hear there is no issue with heat management. 50/50 tires will be good to add as well. I ride my 900 SS hard offroad already, so changing tires will be important on this bike.

If an analog meter had to be given, why not give a tachometer as analog and speedo as digital. It would have still kept the classic look while giving accurate readings for speed. But.. it's a beautiful bike ❤

Lastly, I'm loving this bike way more than the Speed 400, mainly because of seat height and bassy sound exhaust... Much love ❣ ❤‍🔥

The handguards breaking easily is expected to be honest, almost all handguards that come standard on adventure bikes break almost immediately after the first fall even on higher end motorcycles like an Africa Twin, its a bit disappointing to see that they didn't include at least a folding shift lever Since they vouch that its a scrambler but if the shaft has the same number of splines as the street twin a CRF150 shift lever would fit.

Nice area to ride! Brush guards are silly., especially since they put the mirrors so high along with them.Taking those off mine and putting on bar end mirrors. This and playing around with the exhaust. Maybe V&H will make a dual muffler, and open it up.

      DEFINATELY adv 390X lol.
adv 390 has been around for a while, its refined, it sounds great, the size is good for long distance riding meaniwhile 400x is the first gen i wouldnt personally trust it much.

    • @iamstrell
      @iamstrell  Год назад +4

For 90% road use, 400X is good. Quality equipment, lighter, smaller, and easier to ride. If you plan to ride longer off-road trails, or you need more luggage carrying capacity, consider Adv 390.

I just have only question does having the scrambler tag compromises on the overall fun factor of the bike as compared to speed 400. I’m really confused between these two. I want a bike which can do good both in Ladakh while also being fun in the city.

I test rode the vehicle myself earlier this week and I wasn’t put in a situation that required me to corner or lean. Didn’t like at all. Rode the bike.
    1. Power delivery is too linear
    2. Someone said there are vibrations post 100-110 koh. Forget it, its a hard work to take it to 100 kph
    3. The exhaust sound is not as it is shown in reviews, its quite normal, trust me.
    4. Pillion rider comfort is okayish.

I am very confused between scrambler 400 and Cb350rs. Any suggestions here?

I see your question is a few months old now, so you probably already know that the Honda is about the same weight with half the power… Also, while the Honda isn’t ugly, the Triumph is really pretty!
I know which one I would choose.
      Best wishes from London.

@@gopsdv that's what I thought but it's not available every where in the world! So this bike would have a knocking problem soon after international release...

Not that big of a deal but yeah if you use 85 octane petrol then the engine will have a knocking probelm. 95 octane is good enough.

RON or AKI. Regular pump fuel here in Sweden is 95 octane however that's in RON, in AKI (popular in USA etc.) That's ekvivalent to approximately 91-92 octane.
