Make sure what you bought is inside that transmission. My experience on a swapped Monte Carlo build exposed what we payed for from Monster was not inside that 4L60E transmission at all. Should have been 6 spiders, should have been upgraded solenoids, there was a laundry list of upgrades that weren't there. None of it was there. It was a stock rebuild. It's been 8 years now, but we had no luck with Monster getting it fixed or repaired.
If anyone looks at their reputation on forums it's about as bad as you can get. Personally I have never bought anything from them but with their reputation I never will.
I've seen tons of terrible reviews of monster over the years. I have a feeling that if you weren't Eric The Car Guy they would have probably just given you the brush off.
Any company that offers 90 day warranty to me says we dont do the best job. Dont forget cars use to offer 90 day warranty, but they improved the way they built cars and now offer mutli year warranties.
March 10, 2018 I installed a Monster Transmissions 4L60E into my dad's 2002 Suburban for him. I installed it BY THE BOOK, flushed the lines, torqued the bellhousing and torque converter bolts to spec, upgraded to a larger cooler, and filled it with Dexron VI as recommended by them. Less than 100 miles later it failed. They hadn't received our core yet, so they were unwilling to warranty the transmission, and their warranty itself is a joke, with us eating the diagnostic fee to have a transmission shop look at it (in spite of the fact I'm an ASE-certified tech that works for a dealership) and half the freight to get their replacement when they finally got our core and were willing to do something about their defective unit. The transmission shop told us that it was an error in assembly that led to the slippage issues in 3rd and 4th (by the time we got it home from the transmission shop it had no 3rd and 4th). Draining the fluid revealed more glitter than the original had when we drained it. I installed their replacement, and found that it leaked from the tailshaft seal. No big deal, I'll just eat the $20 for a seal, it happens. The new seal leaked too, so I pulled the driveshaft again and checked the yoke for wear and taper and found it to be fine. I pulled the tailhousing off and found that they didn't replace the completely worn-out bushing in the tailhousing, and altogether FORGOT the sleeve that goes over the output shaft to restrict fluid flow in this application. Monster Transmission is a joke.
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. BTW, it's very rarely the seal that causes the tail housing leak, it's almost always the bushing. Shame they didn't do a proper rebuild. Thanks for sharing that.
@@ericthecarguy I started with the seal in the hopes that I wouldn't have to call Monster and deal with their horrible customer service again or tear into it myself... So much for that!
YES ERIC, really like these old style videos where you get your hands dirty and everything doesn't always go as planned. It's life, so many channels "sugar-coat" how things are, that's boring.
been hearing a lot of bad news about Monster Transmissions lately. a 90 day warranty is very telling, no confidence in their own product. it sounds like the only reason they are going to help you is because you are Eric the Car Guy with millions of viewers.
@@ericthecarguy yea i get it. thanks for being honest with your viewers and the apology at the end for not being able to give the answers. not your fault though! keep up the good work!
@@ericthecarguy Not to mention installation error, let alone usage. That said, with some specific terms they could absolutely do better. But I don't think you could ever expect unlimited warranties.... unless maybe, if it were amazingly indestructable and made out of insane materials.
Yep, transmissions get a workout, hence the factory going with 'Lifetime' fluids and like no dipsticks, as people were using wrong fluids, too much or little fluid and complaining... So instead of warranty work and fixing them, just took it out of most users' ability, that said... a number of auto shops messed them up also.
@@ericthecarguy - Brother Eric - you need to check out PerformaBuilt right in PA - they build units that can handle 500+ RWHP yet still offer a 2 year warranty on their builds. Guy told me on the phone, "You will not break this transmission" . Granted it's a stock GMT-900 LMG, but I tow heavily with it, and plan to do a supercharger some time down the road. He told me only to upgrade the torque converter if I go that route to prevent ballooning. That's confidence right there! Sorely missing in this day and age. I can't say enough great things about these guys. They have a Black Edition TH400 that will handle 2k HP!! Even the Black Level 3 that can handle 1k HP has a ONE YEAR warranty. These guys are the real deal. :) You'll thank me later!
Good luck getting it fixed! I've seen too many unsatisfied customers with bad experiences when it comes to Monster. Including long wait times on getting their stuff shipped and fixed. Decided to do my own and haven't had any problem with it since!
As soon as you began to describe the problem I remembered the many complaints about Monster that I have read over the years, this ticked all the boxes. As a pro you are equipped to deal with it, this would be devastating for joe shade tree. I would not feel comfortable taking a chance on a Monster.
I agree. Especially the way it was returned to Eric. Not cleaned on the inside and left with paint speckles, shady O-ring and no cap on the drive shaft spline. I'm glad it worked out for Eric, but I wouldn't trust them.
Never heard a good thing about Monster Transmissions. Trust a local trans shop any day over them. Great video. Brings back the old school feel to your channel.
Ive been building the 4l60e for over a year now and its not a really complicated unit, couple of things you don't wanna skimp on are the apply pistons and frictions. I only use hi-per blue pistons and raybestos GPZ100 frictions for 3/4 and give it .030 to .035 clearance (the book tells you between .060 to .086)I also use pinless accumulator pistons (less leakage) one thing that people miss when air checking the 4l60e is where the input shaft is pressed into the input drum that can cause 3/4 to go out too.
Eric, you should drive the trans direct to Precision Transmission and do a co-op video which would be great for both channels. And it might be a good reveal for what Monster really did right and what they did wrong. My money is you got screwed. Best wishes.
Eric just as you did I trusted Monster Transmission to build me an AOD for my 85 Mercury Grand Marquis with a 358 stroker making 345HP & 380 lb-ft at the crank. I requested the transmission to be rebuilt with the “Monster in a box” rebuild kit which on their website is rated at 400HP & 450 lb-ft. I ordered a Thor 1,800-2,200 stall torque converter, also a 11-1/4” tail-shaft housing with correct output shaft, new AOD dipstick, 1-1/2 cases of Monster transmissions signature brew of Dexron III Compatible synthetic trans fluid, aluminum trans pan with a drain plug and I bought the WOWanty extended warranty as well. Three weeks later I received the box and inside was the transmission with leaking front pump case gasket, leaking manual lever & throttle lever seals, incorrect 10-1/4” tail-shaft housing & short output shaft, stock 1,600-1,800 stall torque converter. I called them up and explained the issues, they would not believe me about the leaks unless I took pictures and sent them to the warranty Dept. I literally had to argue with them until I finally got Kelsey “the grandson of the owners” of Monster Transmission, he said even with warranty I had to pay shipping to send it back to them with the incorrect torque converter as well.
Two weeks later it arrived with the correct 11-1/4” tail-shaft housing and long output shaft, no visible leaks but they still sent me the wrong stock torque converter again painted a different color in a different box. I called the again, had to argue AGAIN and this time they had the absolute worst customer service and refused to send the correct torque converter. They then informed me the extended warranty was a diminishing return warranty, meaning the percent of coverage diminishes as months go by until one year is up. I was told it’s 100% for 90days, 80% for 6months, 60% for 9months and 40% until one year is up. The common warranty is 100,000mi or 3 years whichever comes first. I got stuck with a stock torque converter I overpaid for, crappy customer serves and on top of that once I installed the trans and filled it with fluid the manual lever shaft & throttle lever shaft seals are still leaking. I drove it once less than a mile just to check R, 1, 2, 3 & OD gears, they do but the tranny take longer than normal amount of time to shift in all Forward gears and it feels lazy when it does shift. The car has been parked ever since due to the loss of my job from the covid19 pandemic and the death of my mother this past January.
I just started look for a new 2004R to put into my '69 Chevelle. I was looking towards Monster because of the good price, and I live about an hour away; expecting to be able to pick up the new and drop off core. After this video, reading reviews, it's not just a no, it's a hell no.
Keep going eric! I like this build so much, and I love to see how you fix every problem you run into. It's just so easy to think in your head how you wanna do a project, but doing it in real life is a whole other level. Greets from the Netherlands! Geert
The same thing happened to my son's Corvette. It turned out that the common problem is the "sun shell". The upgraded one has a heat-treated hub. He started home from work and the first two complete shifts from stop went fine. The third time it went out of second and immediately in what seemed to be neutral. I haven't heard great things about Monster. We had his Corvette fixed at a local shop who showed us what they had done, all of the pieces they replaced, and the explained why they did it. That was about 8 years ago and it's still running perfectly.
I learned a long time ago to stand over my transmission builder and watch every part (that I bought) he put into it. It's just to tempting to put back worn clutches and steels that are 'OK', saving the new ones for his personal use.
I've got that same o-ring kit. I originally bought it for things in the restaurant I work at, but have found I use waaaay more for all of my old cars haha.
This is some next level shtuff going on here! Can we now have some shirts with Eric’s meme phrases ? “I know you!” , and “I hate to be that guy, buttttt im that guy.” Or the infamous “well that went allot quicker than I anticipated.” Seriously awesome video🤘
@@restopesto9448 my sunshell went on my astro few years back...had everything but reverse...my trans guy was two weeks out to rebuild so it was a fun two weeks...still had to work planning every route going only forward was fun lol..
Thank Eric for not trying to lie to us on your videos. Monster tried to sweep this under the rug for some unknown reasons, I can come up with a few. If that’s how they’d like to be known, so be it.
Imagine getting work from a real mechanic with millions of subscribers and half assing the customer service and technical service. Eric didn't even express his apprehension with rudeness and I get tense just thinking about what NPF most likely means for the future. Hard to trust anyone these days ain't it? Seems I spoke a bit soon. Glad it's working like it suppose to. Presentation and communication matters too however, especially with a untrusting, anxious generation where more things tend to disappoint than not. Happy for you Eric
One word combined from two words - PERFORMABUILT - they're right next door to you in PA, and have hands-down the BEST business practices and ethics I have ever come across in this day and age. GREAT people! Extremely happy with my Heavy Hauler with all kinds of upgrades inside - just got back Wednesday afternoon from a 3 week, nearly 5K mile road trip from MA to FL and back, towing my enclosed single axle 6x12 trailer with maybe 500 lbs. onboard. Light load, but it performed FLAWLESSLY! Actually feels like it gained more torque! Must be that FTI torque converter they use. 100% American built with American parts, and craftsmanship we used to expect back in the 20th Century. I had the exact same failure on a bone stock (aside from a Hypertech Power Programmer III plug-in, firmer tune) 4L60E in my '07 Silverado 1500 at 103k miles. No warning whatsoever! Like a light switch, I 100% lost 3 and 4. Amsoil Signature Series fluid looked like the day I installed it, 50k miles ago. This truck has been a lemon since day 1, so no shock there ... Proof is in the pudding - 2 year warranty with these guys. That's all you need to know. :) FREE mainland shipping too.
Just had a jasper transmission put in my 2014 ram 2500 ... 66rfe one of the worst ram makes and jasper gives a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty and they were great to deal with I highly recommend!!! Glad I didn’t go with monster like I initially wanted too!!
We have had to rebuild several transmissions from said company and many others they dont replace everything. They only replace "worn" parts. When it happened to me I learned to rebuild them and never looked back.
My nephew got screwed from monster as well. From my understanding, they just started a company with No previous experience and just had a great marketing dept. Locals only isn't just for surfing.
I am always discouraged when I put lots of effort to build stuff only to have things break down lol But I learn to enjoy the journey After all there is always chaos of problems in this world, the difference is that if you are stronger they bore you and if you need to learn more they scare you
My First (700r4) I rebuilt, i did by the manual plus youtube vids and forgot to replace broken tv cable, so clutch packs burned up. Second rebuild was a stage 2 overhaul but learned my driveshaft was spinning so rear differential or axles grenaded. Those transmissions have power if built right and updated -good luck
With all of the comments saying "take it Precision Transmission" or "Monster Transmissions are bad" I'd like to put in my two cents. Monster already rebuilt the transmission for Eric and, while they didn't tell him the cause of the problem if any, he seems happy with this rebuild. Since he's happy, I'd recommend he keep enjoying the transmission as is with any quality of life tweaks to the 1-2 shift he can safely make. Monster may be terrible, I have no experience with them so I don't know, but a broken watch is still right twice a day. As for taking it to Precision, they have stated multiple times in their videos that they will no longer do carry-out work because of installation damage. They may make an exception for Eric but they may not, that would mean Eric would either have had to drive the truck there without 4th gear and a mushy 3rd gear ( or possibly worse if something happens later) or have it transported on the back of a truck both would likely be a painful and expensive process to go through. In my opinion it would be worthwhile, but the process may be to much trouble for Eric to justify. So again, the transmission is working now and Eric is happy so he should just be able to enjoy his truck. If and only if it gives him transmission issues again, I wholeheartedly encourage him to take it over to Precision Transmission whatever it takes, but it's his truck and his money and I don't see any reason to mess with either.
Thank you for your thought out response. To clarify, Monster sent me the transmission originally as a promotion. When it failed, I wanted to give them the chance to repair the issue. If it fails again, I'll rebuild it myself and make a video. Thanks for your comment.
I have a91 silervado with the 700r4 and it always shifts too soon. I adjust the tv cable and it would shift later. Closer to when it should but then the shifting gets harder. I have it adjusted now by the book but the shift is around 8mph but smooth as glass thru all gears
Informative. The company did right by you but likely for all the wrong reasons. A lightly driven new transmission shouldn't fail and it shouldn't require 1.5 million followers to get action. Not responding with what failed makes it worse. The result certainly did not improve my with the product or company.
If it fails again, send it to Precision Transmissions (they have a RUclips channel) and have them pull it apart and figure out what was done wrong. They build 4L60s all the time. They might cut you a deal.
I've seen some horror story videos about Monster Transmission... probably better off having work done by Precision Transmission if you run into more problems
Watching Richard is like taking a Ph.D. class in powertrains. I'm pretty sure he had one in where he wouldn't say their name, but he said something about them being "monsterous" or the like, and then something about "at screwing up things". I don't know anything about Monster, but I'd trust Richard with mine for sure, and I've considered that when I go to TX for a visit, I may take the '99 down there and have him rebuild it.
@@ericthecarguy That’s what I was hoping you’d do this time, it’d have been interesting to see what the culprit was, but I think we all understand you can’t always do everything and most of us are grateful for what you can do on this channel so I must say thank you for another great video & God Bless you & your family! These transmissions aren’t bad to rebuild because there’s so much information out there you just have to take the time to learn, but like you said it’s also possible it’s a wiring problem, but one thing not everyone who rebuilds these knows about is changing the case ball & capsule (captured check ball) if the ball doesn’t seal in the end of the captured case it’s in, the 3-4 clutch won’t work properly, you’d test this by setting the transmission upside down & stacking some blocks under the rear to somewhat level it (once the transmission is already completely tore down) & mix a small tube of 50% transmission fluid & 50% mineral spirits & put some in the channel of the case side of the valvebody where the captured check ball is (near where the servo would be) fluid should leak into the servo bore but if it leaks into the case through a small hole by the servo apply pin bore then eventually the 3-4 clutch pack will burn up, rebuild after rebuild until it’s changed although this would take some time to burn the clutches as in your case which interests me, although there are many smaller possibilities for 3-4 clutch failure. You may already know this but if you come into this situation again & decide to rebuild it yourself & need info on pretty much every single part in the 4L60E, Transmission Bench has a great RUclips channel that goes really in depth. That’s mostly how I rebuilt my first one successfully & I’m 21 so if I could do it I know you could too. But again thank you for all the information on RUclips if it wasn’t for channels like yours (and reading articles online) I’d still only be able to do basic bolt on stuff so I hope you find satisfaction in knowing you’ve contributed to helping so many people just like me. Thanks again & God Bless!
@@Rick_Kn Richard said that a few months ago, but he still does carryout deals. He has sent a few up to the "ultimate demo derby" guy, as well as a few others. I dont think he is doing carry-outs to weekend mechanics though.
Awesome my man, I just notice right now, that you said, never install a dry torque converter, well I didn't know and I install it dry, I'm kind want to cry, it's a lot of wor I put to my truck and now, well tus problem, great work!!
depending on the transmission, I put 6 to 10 quarts in then start it and add a quart at a time tell it starts to show. lol, other wise it will overflow and pure out everywhere!!!
I feel like the viewers forget how good of a wrench you are when they’re all saying “ go to precision “ like yeah an auto trans may be complex but with the proper information Eric the car guy no doubtably could take the trans apart and rebuild it himself . -just my 2 cents from a long time viewer . ;)
Thanks for that. If it fails again, I plan to do just that and show the world what actually went wrong. Then I'll fix it and hopefully, it will stay fixed. Thanks for the comment.
Eric, on those 700r's, that tv cable has to be set spot on. Being a bit off can cause issues like an early 1-2 shift or third gear especially going in an out. Dealt with it a ton on my 92 silverado until it ate the trans. Had it rebuilt, guy set it right, and it barked 2nd gear from that day forward. Still have the trans sitting in my garage actually. That being said, youd be better off getting a refund on that monster trans and going with a mild built gearstar.
Just replaced my trans in my 2004. Was going to purchase Monster but ran out of time. Had to go to junk yard. Go lucky and purchased a used rebuilt trany by GM Goodwrench. $215 for GM rebuilt. Works great!
I just watched transmission bench then bought some performance parts for my 4l60E and rebuilt it myself and the thing is awesome. I almost bought one of those monster trannies but I trust myself better than any warranty.
I was looking for 700r4 to replace my bad one and found a Monster Transmission unit for cheap. Seemed suspicious and I did some research and a lot of people did not have a good experience with their transmissions.
Over the years I've had a few cases where I had no idea what failed and a few cases where it took a couple of shots to find and fix the problem. I've not dealt with Monster but from what I've heard here, their reputation is less than stellar.
Great video! I’m glad that you show us all the struggles along with the good times! I recently tried to diy the failing parts on my aging daily like a project car. Almost needless to say, I ended up trading in my car for a newer lightly used car. Seeing the work it takes to get an old car into decent shape again definitely made biting the bullet easier on the new expense. Lol!
Glad it worked out! Looks like a fun truck. As a service technician myself (not on cars) the "NPF" is frequently used.....sometimes true, sometimes not but thats business....lol I agree with some other comments here......take a look at Precision Transmission channel on here......they do a ton of GM transmissions like the 4L60s and Richard is amazing with his vast knowledge and quality and make some great videos sharing his tips and know how. But they won't do carry outs or send them out to be installed by any regular Joe. Im always amazed by how these automatics work and function.
Never use monster again the only offered the alternative because they probably knew that during the making of your video that everyone knew that monster trans product was used!
I'm putting the valve body back in my monster tonight. Found loose bolts on the upper plate. Hope it solved my issues. You can watch them whip through a build online. Much faster to just rebuild than set it up for testing is my guess.
Hey Eric great video very informative and to the point, now I have second thoughts on a Monster rebuild. Thanks bud please keep up the great and honest work you do.
My 1994 Ford F-350 4x4 6 pack 444cid turbo diesel has already had 3 transmissions Ford ED04. Well got same issue you had now starts in 2 gear and does not come out. Yet if I manually shift the gears from the tree column it will go up the ladder correctly however no overdrive gear anymore and the tach is no longer working. Looks like I be heading down the very same road you just went down. Ugh! Wish it was 5 speed manual. Transmission is not as tough on that big old blue ford but the International Old stroke is. Nice video on the removal and proper handling of transport safely.
The flusher reminded me of the cable lube clamps for motorcycle clutch cables at first lol they never .. ever seal enough to not stay out of the connection lol
If they did anything, they probably pulled the input drum dropped a new 3-4 pack in and sent it back. 3-4 failure is the most common failure in these units, and a stock clutch pack simply will not live long behind that engine. Theres various ways to go about upgrading that, but I doubt they did.
Whats on the internet may not be the whole story, the precision guy definitely knows a lot but a guy I know cant seem to get a working turbo400 from them
So weird. Yesterday was the first time I ever saw those tire jacks on a Matt Brown video about building your own corner scales and now they are here. Those things are super cool
4l60e you can program the shift points. Its a table for MPH to shift at given a TPS %. Can let it hold gear longer based on throttle. Depends on the controller, but on a 95 I can use obd1 programmer.
These automatic transmissions are so interesting. Around here we just use the stick and transmissions are pretty durable. Oh yeah, some ppl have them rare automatics, but these days dsg and dtc are most common. Out of my 30 cars one was cvt. It was nice to just cruise around.
Majority of vehicles produced are automatics. Running a stick is great for nostalgia or your muscle car, however day to day driving in commute or hilly areas and it gets old real quick.
@@boots7859 yeah, these days 75% here have some automatic. Few years back it was manuals 80%. :D Edit. Woops, 20% auto, 80% manual was supposed to be... :D
I know I'm very behind on my RUclips subscriptions, but if you haven't already, I'd love to see a video about tuning the transmission module for better shifting! Enjoyed the video, great as always, and very therapeutic watching you do things with so much care. 🙂
I would guess-ta-mate that they installed a "shift kit" in the valve body (that is if you received the exact same trans. back) with tighter springs behind the spool valves, especially on the 1-2 valve. Just watching the video of before and after, there seemed to be a more positive shift on the 1-2 shift, hence the high rpm "chirp" of the tires on the shift. There really isn't really much that goes wrong internally in the 4L60's, from my experience they are pretty much as bullet-proof as the GM 440-T's. Just a hunch, just glad you got a good working unit. Happy bow-tie-ing.
I got a monster in 2005 for a 700-R4 swap into my 77 corvette. We were planning on upgrading the engine and I like to make sure the brakes and driveline are up to task. I drove the car 2500 miles with that monster, then the 2 4 band broke. Monster would not honor their warranty. Price's transmission on Witchduck in Virginia Beach built me a budget 700-R4 that lasted ten years through the next five engines, a rear diff upgrade, hot laps at the dragstrip, multiple burnout contests, and countless streetraces. Juuuuuuust sayin...
Same thing happened to my buddy he had the same truck in 4wd his monster lasted around 30 miles started slipping terribly. Monster rebuilt again but he never used it got his old trans rebuilt locally. I think he had to pay the shipping back to them also.
I had a 94 Integra GSR 20yrs ago... Then moved to Japan in 2004...got a JDM Prelude SiR S-Spec (type s engine in SiR chassis...no ATTS). Unfortunately sold it a while back. Hopefully in a few years I’ll get a Cayman S!!!
@@boots7859 Umm...did you not notice the 2 Integras in the background? He often talks about his GSR and building it up. jesus h in a chicken basket. i am retired and just want the equal of a 1951 chevrolet truck that i can work on but with remote start to preheat in northern minnesota. the 2018 ram is adequate but all new trucks run great and are time bombs when the warranty dries out
Well If you are buying Fiat Chrysler products largely built in Mexico... Yeah. All manufacturers have issues and it varies year to year, but I have yet to see a dodge ram post '80s that hasn't suffered some significant defects early in their lives. (I am sure it doesn't help that the company is constantly cutting corners and going out of business). Remote start is pretty easy to install (or have installed) so if you want to build an antique truck, I would do that. (...I also plan to do that, but I have too many projects at the moment).
After doing my own research into transmission I've determined that Monster Transmissions are just not what they used to be and should be avoided at all costs. You might pay for a really great warranty but you will be using it seasonally.
@@rcrites haha yeah I didn’t elaborate enough on that, you can pay them for longer than a 90 day warranty but you will PAY. Probably at least another grand or two and then still be stuck shipping it back and forth every time it breaks
Should have sent this to Richard over at Precision Transmissions. He'd put it up on a vidjayo and we'd all see what the issue is/was. Clearances weren't checked, or inferior parts? That transmission has quite a few upgrades that Richard would do to it as matter of course that makes it even better.
Make sure what you bought is inside that transmission. My experience on a swapped Monte Carlo build exposed what we payed for from Monster was not inside that 4L60E transmission at all. been hearing a lot of bad news about Monster Transmissions lately. a 90 day warranty is very telling, no confidence in their own product. it sounds like the only reason they are going to help you is because you are Eric the Car Guy with millions of viewers.
It's hard to offer a warranty on performance parts. They suffer way more abuse than daily drivers. At least that's the theory.

That final run through the gears in your outro was a great look of contentment on your face driving that damn fine truck....
Now I wouldn’t trust Monster Transmission to build the transmission on my self propelled lawn mower if I were desperate.

Informative. The company did right by you but likely for all the wrong reasons. A lightly driven new transmission shouldn't fail and it shouldn't require 1.5 million followers to get action.

Back to good old manuel transmission !
Lol!

I own and operate a small independent repair facility and the automatic transmission is the bane of my existence.

Hopefully in a few years I’ll get a Cayman S!!!
WTF did that have to do with anything? Stroke your ego in private.

Umm...did you not notice the 2 Integras in the background?
He often talks about his GSR and building it up.
So, I was simply making a reference to that...and then going on a tangent; usually ppl who like Type Rs and Hondas would be interested in the very rare S-Spec...and finally the Porsche thing, was a tangent to another tangent...😆 ...I’m done with Honda, I guess.
Sorry for taking up time in your life!
Next time if you can’t relate to a comment, just ignore it...
I’ll go and shoot my ego in the gonads now...sorry for ruining your day!
I guess trolls 😈 like you get off on picking a fight with strangers?
Then again me, replying to your ‘constructive’ comment isn’t furthering things any better...oops! 😂
Peace & positivity to you! 🙄
No worries Eric, if we run into this problem; send it to Monster Transmission.
Eric, if you need a transmission rebuilt I recommend Ray at Defiance Transmission in Defiance, Ohio. I just had a Ford C-6 and a NP205 transfer case rebuilt for $1275.00
jesus h in a chicken basket. i am retired and just want the equal of a 1951 chevrolet truck that i can work on but with remote start to preheat in northern minnesota. the 2018 ram is adequate but all new trucks run great and are time bombs when the warranty dries out
Well If you are buying Fiat Chrysler products largely built in Mexico...
Maybe I read that wrong, but how is 90 days a “really great warranty“?
They use to be a garbage company and they still are. They haven’t changed at all by the looks of things.
If it fails again, I'll rebuild it myself. Not that Precision Transmission isn't awesome.
@@ericthecarguy been seeing that reply. I get it. Would love to see a collab there none the less.
If any viewers are from the Durham Region in Ontario, Canada, I strongly recommend Kingsway Transmission in Ajax. They do awesome work!
Dang, that Engine looks so Awesome!
