In case you hadn't heard, graduations are moving to Thursdays beginning in October 2023. My SR will be the first group to do so.
This is accurate. Son is in Great Lakes now and is graduating Oct26 a Thursday.
Thanks for the heads up!
@@jackbrenthopper4876 my son is there too right now.
I graduated In October miss it
The First Rule of Battle Stations is we DO NOT TALK ABOUT BATTLE STATIONS...
We didn't have this in my day
My son did it when he graduated Dec '20
I like how you bought up people like auto dealerships. I know when I got to my first base, they highly recommend that no one get a car near the base because, as you said... they know you're a guaranteed check.
Hey AAR, i just got through boot camp last week and boy everything you explained, made it simple and easier to get through
I graduated on the 25th of August and we had two battle station failures. They managed to do "remediation" and graduated on time. From what they told me it was braindead easy. We were all Cheeseman's warm bodies though to be fair. Battlestations was really fun though overall. Hardest part of it was staying up the day after. Also everyone looked high af at the end of it because we were so tired. Huge fucking pupils.
Some kid in our division had to do marlin spike and got his 8 point lol i graduated in October
Hi AAR, so I've been watching your videos since I swore into the dep program, your videos actually keep me calm about how boot camp, so I have some idea as to what to expect when it comes to boot camp, I just wanna say thank you for helping me
Glad I could help!
Me too. I really appreciate all of your videos. I ship Sep 25th
Hey I just wanted to say I loved going to RTC and loved the expience If your thinking about going into the navy I definally recommend it just give it your all and you got this.
Hooyah Shipmate
Battle Stations isn't difficult. Everyone has to be a leader so you are not going to be able to fade into the background and do nothing. Follow these three rules and you will pass Battle Stations. #1 Listen to the instructions. #2 Follow the instructions. And #3 Don't fall asleep. That's basically everything you need to know about Battle Stations.
It’s overhyped
As a former Bubblehead, I love that the CMC wears his fish above his ESWS.
Hi AARDC, similar to other comments I’ve been watching your videos since I swore into DEP and they have helped a lot. I ship out 9/6 and really looking forward to my time in the navy as MUS. Thank you for putting in the time to make these videos!
Aye, I'll see you there, I ship the same day, going in as abh
Goodluck guys you guys got this! What rate did you pick
@@lucidium6068 I chose abh, one of the original jobs and seems very cool
@@insanegaming5240 probably won’t be that hard to miss being 6’5…
@@insanegaming5240 lmk when you get here. youll be in my barracks
I have a buddy who talks about battle stations to whoever at this point because of this video basically showing everything according to him lol
No it does not, there are about 13 scenarios. It does not show everything. He should be careful
Keep working!
Everyday
16:20 my RDC would’ve said shut the hell up lol
Yo i just graduated navy bootcamp 2 days ago and just want to say shoutout to ship 14 with them having the chillest and best rdc’s and the best galley staff as well
Anyone here go in on the 19th?????
Patching a blown pipe and removing danger from area is not exactly something to be top secret...
If anything, having as much knowledge of the situation can only prepare a recruit better.
But if the "first rule of fight club rule 13" is aimed at public and not navy recruits or potential recruits, whatever, fair enough.
Something I noticed in the beginning of the video when the division is marching, I noticed some of the taller recruits are now in the middle of the division and not the back. Do they not go by shortest to tallest anymore? (bear in my mind, I was in boot camp 20 years ago so I'm sure plenty have changed since) I'm 6'3 so I was the third tallest guy in the division so I was in the back row every march we did, just curious
The marching you see in the beginning of this video shows the divisions marching to battle stations in columns of four. They are in their battle groups, not in a normal marching configuration
Just like he said, we’re setup in our groups and then march as is, it’s the only time we won’t be in a height setup
About 2 weeks before BS21 for me, i got an ingrown hair that got infected on my left jawline. It balloned up like golfball on my face. I had to sit out of fire fighting for medical reasons. I got it drained at medical, then got gause put on with some tape. They gave me a no-shave chit for about a week. Ut also, my division was about to do BS21, but they wanted to give me time to heal. So i got LLD, with getting medically asmo'd to another division in my training timeline, then do BS21 with them. So, as my division had already done BS21, i was waiting a week to do it myself. When it was time for me to finally do BS21, they took the gauze pad off, but i still had an open wound, but they cleared me to participate. I got excused from the firefighting part with the putting on the SCBA mask. And for the rising water in the compartment flooding and passing those metal cylinders, i was told i could stand to the side where it was out of reach of the spraying water. And if i wanted to jump in, they gave me the ok to do so, so i said "fuck it" and i jumoed in to participate. No regrets. We did the capping ceremony, and they said I could go to graduation with them, or rejoin Division 232, so I opted to go back to my parent division. Best choice I made
BST21 is geting an update so i dont think i matter if they show it
They will??
