In this clip, MC Serch spoke about being named dropped on JAY-Z's "Takeover" amidst the legendary Nas vs. Hov beef. Serch revealed how much he was actually paid for the publishing but also detailed how he doesn't actually own Nas' publishing. In fact, he explains how Nas owns a piece of Hov's catalog.
Later, MC Serch revealed how he and Nas finessed Tommy Mottola and was able to get out of their deal so Nas could branch off. He praised Nas for being a smart, savvy businessman and said that with his latest tech ventures, Nas will be hip-hop's first "real" billionaire.

Notice how MC SERCH kept VLAD SPEECHLESS through most of this Interview . When Vlad finally had a chance to speak, he never really dealt with what MC SERCH had said about the story he told. MC SERCH dropped a lot of important Jewels in this Interview & I think Vlad missed the mark in addressing or asking certain questions. It made me think that he doesn’t know or understand the Business side of the Music Industry. It’s not a knock on Vlad; just an observation.
