MC search is a walking legend…A LEGEND!!!! HIP HOP CULTURE CREATOR
Think hard on the age Nas was when he made Illmatic, and think of the excuses today for the trash that’s dominating the game now due to these rappers being “young”. Age is no excuse.
The internet fucked up music plain and simple. It's too easy and has to be churned out too fast for crazy classics to come out. It's microwaved and not slow cooked.
Search is a credit to the handful of honest people that was left in that era. Regardless of race. Agreed, his place in Hiphop is solidified. A definite exception that’s rare.👍🏾
@7:45. Jay never showed Nas his first tech. There's actually a video of Jungle unintentionally disproving that.
These jayhova witnesses funny as well... imagine a nigga growing up in QB not seeing a tec before lol
@@taioslamjam9323. Nigga, I'm from South Africa, and I even I understand that😂😂. Some fools just hear shit and run with it.
6:40 This man just says it all right there. I don't know hip hop nowadays minus a few, Apathy and Vinnie have always been my top 2 for word play but Nas of course always head a crown, illmatic was a staple of my introduction to great artists in the industry and still to this day remains one of the best albums ever created. Shout out to all of you!
Word to everything!!! Gas face was my shit!!! From his high top fade with the 3rd base logo cut into the back of his fade...3rd Base was most definitely hard af!! Official NY HipHop!!! Hands down...Step in to the A.M. ?!?! Are you shitting me?!?! 💯🔥🔥🔥
Salute to my brother 🙏🏾 💯

Serch a whole legend in the rap game salute to him and everything he did for the rap game
Nice one Math. Real hop hop shit. Dope interview.🔥🔥🔥
When he said he didn’t want to be the Jew that fucks Blk rappers over, he gained all my respect. I remember listening to 3rd Base as a kid in Elementary school. Love this platform.. wish some younger ppl could understand what struggle and things ppl went through for them to have the platform they have today.💯
"My boy MC Serch never the less/took me to Columbia back then CBS"

Yo! Great interview I’m from that era and Search was a good dude, in terms of the Latin Quarters we were family Search, myself, Chris Lighty ( Rest in Power), Red Alert, my man Paradise ( From the X-Clan) Sup and Casanova Rud, Milk and Giz Etc,etc… he was Solid every spot he mentioned I was right there wit’em, unfortunately when they shut the spot down your boy went up north never to see’em again only after 3rd Base came out and he elevated his game. One love to my guy Search…. Salute👊🏾💪🏾
Nas is a beast 🔥 search is original and truthful...great show math 🔥
This interview is incredible
Netflix need to give Serch a biopic series
Props to Mc Search... Salute
Search is responsible for Nas period. He put Nas on a feature back in the day and from there he became a legend. Search got heavy play by me as a teenager.
Nah, Nas was bubbling already, he had labels after him just based on his guest verses. He would've come up regardless.
I'm looking forward to this entire interview bit how they end the clip is hilarious " my favorite white spy"
Math great interview 👌 can u get the lox up there thats my next favorite group of all time
"actually believe half of what you see NONE of what you hear even if its spit by ME"
Serch really shows his whole hand and i love it, this dude stay real af whether you fw him or not
Math has got to have hours and hours of MC Serch material. The full interview GOTTA be atleast 2- 2 hour interviews.
