I like the idea, very creative and innovative in a space that is already overcrowded. Props to you for coming up with something new!
Yeah so many of these 3d inserts being used today but yet my truck performs just as good with dual stage foams. Once they break in they really break in and get soft
Great product, best of luck!
Just ordered a pair of soft and super softs for mine! Looking forward to seeing the improvement from the foams I have right now.
Please test the directionality and show in a vidio! Defiantly interested in purchasing!
This is awesome, but i’d love to see some inserts for the 4.9 ruptures and the 4.9 trepadors. 4.9 inch tires are becoming more common, and i have the PL treps, and i’d definitely by the 4.9 inserts.
Really like this insert. I want one set 😍 but unfortunately it’s to expensive to get it shipped to Sweden. Probably cost more than the insert.
WE have come a long way from the early days of using bb's in our tires.
Next to come, adjustable air filled tires. (I bought a pr of dubro tires for a 20lb 78" plane I had. At 2lbs of air, it wouldn't bounce landing)
They have those already..
Adjustable air tires are already out there. Gmade had some at one point. No sidewall support and just too hard with air pressure
@joshfowler197 yap.but they sure will float a truck..lol..I got the cheepos from crapazon..they did hold air as claimed but were bouncy.
Just ordered a set of the mediums for my ruptures can’t wait to get them put them to the test. They’re going in a 6.4 pound Gspeed.
My buddy and I have been talking about your inserts for a couple days. Been waiting for this video. Definitely going to get me a set or two of the soft ones.
Joe I'm so proud of you buddy that is so awesome and definitely an innovation that is different from anything I've seen
So I did something a little different. I put printed inserts in my kyosho rampage outlaw. It's on 3s with a 3800 kv castle system. I get way less tire expansion, the tire doesn't roll over in turns. So far they have held up but im changing brand. I want to try the yzzr, I think they will do well.
You might have better luck than me. I tried to order yzzrs about three weeks ago and they never shipped. I tried emailing, Instagram and Facebook. I finally had to go PayPal to cancel the order.
Excellent Joe. Good work sir!
These are cool I need a set!
Nice work! Best of luck!
Definitely awesome. Great work Joe 😎🤘
Would be helpful to list the width of the inserts
Exactly what I was thinking, he says they are specific to brands of tires, but those models of tires per brand have overlapping dimensions. So I'm not exactly sure why he says the JConcepts won't work for Prolines and viceversa, because if they have overlapping sizes between those listed tires, then why not? I want to but a set for some tires that aren't either of those brands but can't until I get more info about these.
nice! the injora ones tend to shift left and right plus they do not fill the tire a lot of space. where can we buy this? lol
Awesome video. Are you planning to list the STL files for sale?
Will be trying a pair of these Soon, Great Work Joe!
Nice thank sir
👍👍😁
👍😁😎✌️
Excellent but I would like Medium insert my friend, u will have a customer 😊
I need some for my new 2.9 baja pro-x tires
Definitely takes a bit to get settings right,I found 85a is nice n soft but stiff if need be.agread on taper..I've printed and tried a few and can tell it's less tippy with no taper..fo sure fun trying and printing your own antifoams.
Awesome!!!
Dude, give us a dimension set and a way to send u our designs. Like pc fan showdown (don't remember the channel name)
Need to make some parts and a review for the kyosho rampage outlaw pro the soild axle pre runner
When you're up high in the air on something vertical how does the rear tire look I have noticed when you're climbing something very vertical if that rear tire collapses and will definitely throw you over
Joe. Will the inserts be listed by weight? 4-6 lbs, 5-7 lbs, etc… or just super soft, soft, medium, etc…. Looks like your insets work well.
Those look better than the injora!
Tbh after they break in then they completely change. So I’m curious if you are testing them long enough to break them in properly
Well then...let me know when you can print a set for a 2.2 canyon trail and a PL 2.2 Regular Swamper. Med rear and soft front👍
I desperately need some good inserts for these vanquish Falken wildpeaks MT tires. They’re so thin, everything I’ve tried doesn’t work well at all.
👍😁👏👏👏👏
& your store is very impressive sir!👍
Could you make some 2.2 inserts meant for the hyrax 5.75in
Be interested in some 5.75 size for 2.2 wheels.
🔥👍🏾💯
Any plans for 1.3"?
Are you able to make them for 1.0 and 1.3 rims and tires?
I’ll stick to dual stage foams tho
My biggest pro with these types of inserts vs foams is the sidewall support as well as the ability to drive through water and get muck in the tires and not worry about the foams disintegrating. You can also add closed cell foam or rubber rods to these types of inserts to further tune them as desired.
Will you be offering custom sizes or offering the file for sale?
I have the Proline bogger xl on my 4 lb truck. They are 5.4 tall on 1.9 wheels
I’m going to be making more sizes soon. Just getting started with them.
🎉🎉🎉
I was wondering if you would be willing to sell the stl as well, as i have a printer capable of printing these. For personal use ofcourse.
Will be available for 1.0 wheels?
I don't know about anybody else but I run inserts in the front and then I run hair buns or a stiffer foam in the rear end because I feel like when you do go to jump up something if that rear hits it's going to throw you off the line bad because of the bounce seems like the 3D printed inserts are really bouncy
Bruh.... whose hair is it? :(
Are you shipping to Canada when they are ready and if so, will the shipping be actually cost effective? Everyone else wants more for shipping than the actual insert. It’s crazy because I buy stuff from the USA that are larger and shipping is cheap
Shipping is usually around $35 for me to get almost anything to Canada. I once sent a paper clip and it was around $30. No kidding I did recently ship a servo and an esc and it was a legit $44 and some change to ship there. Idk how anyone is shipping there for cheap.
*Update: after 30 minutes these inserts destroyed my Tusks* You have them listed by tire brand, but I can't find any listed measured difference between Jconcepts tires and Proline tires. The ones I can find actual dimensions on seem to overlap each other so if its because of the actual tire dimensions, what is the difference? I'm def interested in a set because I like the flat outer instead of the taper. Though I had to ghetto solve that halfway with adding some closed cell foam rods into the outer most slots in a set of Injora inserts.
FYI, I got a set of these inserts to use with my Tusks (I got the Jconcepts inserts), and maybe 30 minutes into use they had destroyed the inner sidewalls on the front tires due to the insert itself sliding across the beadlock ring and causing it to rub on my portal/steering link. So I sat down with one of the tires and sure enough, its not much effort to slide it in/out while its on the rim. The beadlock wheels are 26.5mm wide and I couldn't get them all the way in because of how much the insert was keeping the tire from giving in, so they were realistically more like 29mm wide at that point. So I gave them a shot, but my Injora greens in my Tusks never had that issue, time for a new set of tires and a full set of not cheap inserts I'll leave collecting dust in some bin somewhere. The beadlock ring itself was 57mm diameter so it was quite a squeeze to even get into the center of these inserts, but apparently that wasn't enough friction to keep them from moving around causing eventual damage to the tires.
Peowounds
I currently running soft voodoo soft in front and med in rear my question for your printed insert do I run the same combination?
yeah my softs are like the super softs, but get into the second stage quicker I like them on several of my trucks
What t p u Did you use?
