I literally just ordered these two days ago on a whim and was hoping they would be good. You are one of the only channels that do any kind of comprehensive reviewing/testing on products and I'm sure the regulars appreciate it greatly. Such an underrated channel and I'm enjoying the daily videos for sure.
If you like to print, you can buy the file to print your own. Love 3d printed inserts, and I'm glad you're getting the word out. Some peeps just wont listen and insist on their tried and true. Once they get more prevalent, cost will go down or we'll all make our own. You. Can. Print. Your. Own.
Funny, I just put a set of custom inserts from Robo Slug on Etsy into 4.19's on 1.55 wheels. That's a lot of sidewall to support. Took the truck out and they worked like the ones you tested.
I think you have now convinced me to try out these news anti-foam inserts. I like how the tire conforms to the rocks with them inserts in. Enjoy the daily Canyon vids! Entertaining, educational and enjoyable!
300 views in 3 hours is good and means people are tuning in enthusiasticly but remember to hit like as a simple way to support the channel, the algorithm is watching!
Oh yeah these look awesome. Upgrades definitely happen and part of that is fueled by the desire to hit that line we couldn't do before. In the case of guitars, watching demos and videos on RUclips fueled the compulsion to try everything. Guitarists call it GAS, gear acquisition syndrome. Thankfully I have reined that in, oddly by taking lessons for the last year. I'll try these Squids someday, but I need to wait for our new snow to melt and can make it out to the crawling spots before I try any more upgrades 😂
When I upgraded to LiPo, I went to BB&B and bought two large ceramic serving bowls. Then I picked up fifty pounds of pool filter sand at the hardware store, and filled two doubled trash bags with thirteen pounds each. I keep the bowls in the kitchen fireplace, and store and recharge my two batteries in them, each with a sandbag on top. If one catches fire, or even overheats, it'll melt through the bag and dump thirteen pounds of sand on top of itself, smothering the flames and catching the sparks. It showcases my degree of tediousness, ;} but near as I can figure, it cost me about $50 and might save my house one day.
I got the stl files for free. I have a roll of TPU from another project. So guess what I will be 3D printing. I will measure my tires before printing to print the size for my tires.
Well that just seems unfair. Also, the Claws seem to work even better with some "sidewall smear." Yella is the rig in most need of upgraded "foams," and he's also on Deep Woods. For now.
If you haven’t ran a Team Brood Creep 27T hand wound on a Hobby Wing 1080 you should give it a try. Believe it or not it will crawl as slow as this with a hood tx.
@@CrawlerCanyon yeah I have the creep I haven’t ran a doomsday but I can go outrunner slow with my Creep on a HW 1080. It takes a lot more finesse with the throttle finger than an outrunner. I like the smoothness all the way through from zero to 120% throttle the hood brushed have that brushless don’t. There’s always the slight rpm jump between moving so slow you have to really look to see if it’s moving and just a normal slow with brushless.
What about squidnserts in deepwoods and 3bros antifoams in deepwoods, both on Daphne and do one of those split screen shots and see which "insert" is the king?
And then after that victor, put those winning inserts in the baja claws and compare the split screen footage again to find out just how amazing you can make Daphne. Seems like a pretty good comparo video to me.
Would be cool, but I don't have the proper sized insert (yet.) The insert for the Deep Woods is quite a bit shorter than the one for the Tusk. The 3BRC I have would be pretty much crammed into a Deep Woods. That's the thing with 3D inserts-- they are indeed pretty tire-specific, so I can't just move 'em around the fleet.
Man these printed foams are so awesome! I e only had one st 3 bros rc, and set of bantams think brand was I didn’t like them but 3 bros are amaizing! But like try pair squids! Thank god price of anti foams went down! 😊
After a lot of investigating and dozen of rolls of TPU the past two years, I have to say: 3D printed inserts are very overrated!😑Besides being incredible overpriced at the moment they wont bring not much of advance .Lots of research is still needed.

I definitely do appreciate it all!
One of the very few that I trust as a honest reviewer. I thank you sir for your time and effort ..

SL3D makes a Tusk specific size insert that fits and works amazing in the Tusks. Just FYI.

Just purchased a set based on your review. $60 shipped for all four if I’m not mistaken, which seems to be a good deal.
My Ecto is getting a set of these this weekend.
I got the same purple locktite.
Love it.

I'm starting to see your videos shared more and more on Facebook rc pages. Keep up the good work.

Ordered my first set last Tuesday. Hope this review goes well 😅😅😅

Im still trying to get you inserts from my buddy. When he comes back ill see what I can do
So...... Squids in the Baja Claws?

I've got a 35T Doomsday, and while it's a fantastic motor, it's just not in the same league as an outrunner setup.

@@CrawlerCanyon doomsday is only dual magnet and creep is quad.
An outrunner is 14. It really is torque on a different level.
Also with squids. You can order them to size height and width

I'm not taking my tires apart again!!! I think......
😂 I feel that way about the diffs in my slash and rustler 😂
An excuse to buy more wheels and tyres!!
@@jord001 LOL....I just got two sets of tires yesterday and the rims are on the way!!!!
I know what daphne should have...never mind last time I got a time out lol.
