I love how that last one looks like the ocean at night.
I was just thinking it looked a bit like that bioluminescent plankton haha! Great minds!
I laid in bed awake last night planning out potential (easy) nail art projects 😅😅This is super helpful! Thank you
Ooh what other ideas did you come up with?? Asking for a friend 👀💅
@@KelliMarissa lol, color combos for French manicures with neons & like maybe racing stripes down the center. Neither of which I've never tried before.
Lmao I am so glad I'm not the only one who lies awake planning nail art! 😂
Ummm..... guilty!🙋🏼♀️
Great to see nail art tutorial. Too bad mine never look as good as yours. Love the last one but they're all beautiful
We are our own worst critics haha honestly I bet you do a great job!!
I try Kelli, let's leave it at that lol
Ooooooooo ….. the orange purple and red gradient is soooooo pretty!!
I think that one is my fave too 😁 sunset vibes!!
Yes, this is fun! Love ideas for nail art that I could “actually” do💅🏻
Yessss honestly nothing beats simple nail art that looks cool!!
That last one is a knock out.
Something about a deep blue glitter just speaks to my soul!!
There isn't a single one I didn't absolutely adore. The mix of flakies between the blue Holo Taco/Mooncat design was perfection, and I love your nail shape!
Oh gosh thank you so much! 🥰🥰
Kelli is the best!
Yay! I actually have all your Orly collab polishes so I can do this one! It's by far my favorite... I love those colors so much. The jelly one was awesome too. I love a good sunset ombre.
Oh thank you so much 🥰 those colors really are so special to me!! But I might have to wear that holo jelly gradient as a full mani soon 😂
My favorites are the orange, red, purple Holo Jelly gradient and the Orly Kelli's Galaxy gradient.
I'm glad you enjoyed them 🥰
I love your nail art tutorials - you always make nail art look so approachable, even for novices! I can’t wait to try out a few of these specialty finish combinations
Oh yay I'm so happy to hear it, thank you 🥰🥰
I loved all of them. I think I am going to do the last one with alternating red and green glitter nails for Christmas. I think Starrily Candy Cane Lane and Emerald Gala will be perfect. Thank you, Kelli, for doing this video, I love gradient nails.
Ooh yes I think that is the perfect holiday mani!!
I grabbed Christmas lights from someone selling theirs. That would be a pretty divider.
I love that pink jelly gradient!
It's subtle but it's so cute!! 🩷
@@KelliMarissa yes! I seem to really be gravitating towards pinks these days 😂
LOL. I stumbled across your channel trying to figure out what to do with my OPI color paints that are streaky like you said in a different video, but I've been interested in jellies. Anyhoo .... This nail polished obsessed gal went BONKERS this past week making my own jelly polishes diluting those color paints, mixing and matching... Which ended up adding several "new" polishes to my already large collection! My newest obsession is doing the glittery/ jelly sandwich and experimenting with learning to do jelly granite watching your videos! I'm an older gal (almost 50, YIKES!) That has a serious nail manicure addiction! My fav looks are holographic and now going all things jelly! Thank you for such a fun channel! Keep on going, Kelli!
you make this feel so do-able!
Honestly even I get intimidated when I think about doing gradients, but when I finally break out the sponge I remember how easy they are haha!! 😅🥰
I so love glitter gradient, I do it often. Indeed it's very pretty with black, but my preference goes to a blue base with a gold flake top coat on top. Also brown base with same gold top coat, very classy
I love them all. BUT impressed by the pink jelly one. Perfect idea to go over it with the original pink to sort out the scattered holo.
Thank you!! 🥰🥰
That flakie gradient is amazing!
Ahh thank you 🥰
I love all the color combinations you used. The black with blue, the green and blue, and the one with your collabs are really speaking to me, but I love all the color combos.
I just spent an hour painting flowers on my nails, and now I want to take them off and do a gradient! 😂
Ahh I'm glad you enjoyed the colors! Haha I clearly love my blues and pinks 😂🩷🩵
Oh these are all so good 😊 I've wanted to try gradients for ages but think it will be too difficult, maybe I'm overthinking it
You are just so talented, thanks for sharing this video Kelli ❤xxx
I love gradients, I hadn't considered mixing finishes but the mooncat/holo taco one is so beautiful and I have both of those coming!
Oh yay!!! I wanted see you play more! My favorite one was the mooncat and holo taco gradient! I love the mix of rhe almost metallic ahimmer to the softer shimmer, just beautiful! The last gradient i did was for my birthday. I used 3 very different finishes for each color so it looked like my nails were on like burning coals. My favorite kinda od videos are when we get to see people experiment and play.
I definitely want to do more experimenting, it's my fave too tbh haha!! I feel like I used to do it a lot more 😅
LOVE this! Gradients is something I really want to try, I've never tried sponging before either. I think I might try doing something with some of the shades from the Orly spring collection. Thank youuu!
Glad to see your Nail Art ❤
Thank you! 🥰🥰
Thank you!! I love these videos.
I'm so glad to hear it 🥰
Wow! Allll of these are SO PRETTY! I love this! Thank you!!!
And it is saved in my “Kelli Marissa - Nail Art” folder. ❤
Ahh yay I'm so happy you liked them!! 🥰
the colors you chose for glitter gradient has convinced me to branch out and try
Yesss you're gonna have fun doing it I bet!!
Love the second one with your collab which I have. Can't wait to try this one!
Ahh thank you! Let me know how it goes!!!
Love love love this!!! I needed some inspo for nail art.
Yesss I'm so happy you enjoyed!!!
Super helpful! I love them all
Yay I'm happy to hear it!!
Thank you for doing this! I loved them all.
Oh yay I'm so happy to hear it!!
You have more patience for this than I ever would. Great Job!
Thank you! Cheers!
I love these ideas, thanks Kelli💜
I'm glad to hear it 🥰🥰
These all turned out so pretty!!! Thanks for the ideas!!❤
Thank you! I'm so happy you liked them!!
Wow, thanks! Didn’t know that about sponging jellies & I love the glitter gradient - going to try both.
Yesss let me know how it goes!! 🥰
These are stunning Kelli! Ty for sharing ✨
Oh thank you so much 🥰🥰
These are all perfection.
Ahh thank you!! 😅
Fantastic video. I love all of these ideas!
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
These are all so beautiful! It's making me want to pull out my nail art sponges... 👀
Doooo it 😁😁😁😁
They are all really beautiful! Thanks!
I'm so glad you liked them 🥰🥰
YAY! I love your nail art tutorials! These are spectacular and very informative! ❤❤
Glad you like them! 🥰🥰🥰
Great video. Love when you do theses kind of videos. Beautiful nail designs. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much 🤗💜
My favourite type of nail art!!!
I think my favourite is the one with your collab!
Ahh thank you!!
Aaaannnnnd all your gradient videos are in my watch later spot now. 👏
Hope you find it helpful! Sometimes gradients can be frustrating but once you get the hang of it, you're gonna do great!!
I love all of these! Didn't know about jelly holo so good to know. I haven't tried a gradient yet but I'm excited!
It can get messy but tbh it's so fun!! 😅💅
So much fun!! I was just thinking about trying something like this myself. Thanks for the tips and tricks. They are all lovely.
Oh thank you so much 🥰
Love this hope this tutorial goes viral!!! I hope it matches your swatch and reviews!
Aw thank you Steph 🥹💜 I know people don't love the tutorials as much but I still have fun doing em haha!
ty!! i hope i can do them. i love your videos
my favorite one is the pink-gold one
Oh thank you Kaylee! I bet you're gonna do a great job!!
I really appreciate your tutorials. I’d love to try this technique, and now I don’t feel so intimidated.
Yay so happy to hear it!! 🥰🥰
Yayyy! Another Kelli video! I placed a huge ILNP order for my birthday and I included the Splash Collection - definitely tempted to try out that first gradient!
Ooh yes perfect collection to buy for the summer!! And happy birthday 🥰🥰
@@KelliMarissa thank you!!! ☺️
You are inspiring me to do a gradient !
Yessss do it!!! 💅💅
I love your nail art compilation videos! Thanks for the tips and great ideas. I really liked your Orly collab gradient and the Holo Taco/Mooncat gradient. I need to try those!
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
i did my first ever gradient nail art manicure this week, and was just thinking about doing more! your timing is impeccable
Ooh which colors did you use!! That's great timing haha!
@@KelliMarissa mooncat's midnight drive and a lavender creme from the face shop! :] it was messy but I learned a lot and overall it turned out alright so I'm happy with that 😅😅
I love this!!! I’m definitely going to experiment with different gradient combinations. You are amazing at teaching these techniques☺️💜
Oh gosh thank you so much 😅💜
Love this. It just didn’t last long enough! 😂 I like the first two the best. Since I have your collection I’m going to give it a try. I just sat down to soak my nails so, perfect timing. Thanks so much Kelli!❤
Ooh yes you gotta let me know how it goes!! I just love those colors together 😅💜🩷🩵
Thanks for this tutorial. You make it look so easy. I hope that one day, I will be brave enough to try it.❤
I know you can do it!! 🥰🥰
I have been stalking the ILNP site and doing color and holo-amount comparisons for several weeks now, exactly for the purpose of hand-painting holo jelly gradients! I love the idea of being able to do this without any tools at all. Will try soon. Great video!
Thank you!! They really make so many beautiful holo jellies it's hard to decide which combos to try haha!
thanks for the inspiration to break out my lighter holos and do my version of the A England gradient. i usually do a ton of them in the summer but have some spring colors i want to try.
i recently did a jelly with UP and reflective gradient but vertically.
Their colors work SO nicely for gradients, that holo finish lends itself really well for blending!!
I love your content ❤❤
Oh gosh thank you 🥹🩷💅
😍😍😍love thiiiis!
Thank youuuuu 😅💜
that diagonal gradiant 🤯
I love these colors together 😅🩷💜🩵
I’m excited for this! Every time I try a gradient with a sponge, it’s awful.
I hope I learn what I’m doing wrong. Here we go!!!!
Honestly sometimes I find it to be easier to sponge on specialty finishes like shimmers/linear holo than cremes, maybe worth trying if you usually stick to cremes!!
@@KelliMarissa yep. I tried with a sponge. I’ll have to try what you shared here.
It was the FairyDust (bumpy like sandpaper finish) formula of Zoya.
I just tried a gradient last week. ILNP Mila gradient to Hi-fi at the tip. No sponge. Both ultra-metallics. Turned out better than expected. Didn't know if I was doing it right. Love the effect. Will do it again.
Imo as long as it looks good in the end, it doesn't matter how you achieved it haha! Sounds like you did a great job, I bet it looked gorgeous!
@@KelliMarissa It still looks good. The ILNP ultra-metallics are super durable, resist chipping.
And here I am again, past 1.30 AM 😅
At least this is a short video 😁
It's been such a long time since I did a gradient, even though I used to love them... but I think this will light a spark 😊
I felt the same haha it had been so long since I did a gradient and I weirdly missed doing them!!
Oh these are so cute! I have tried the sponges but I need more practice I think. One gradient idea I had, which might be tricky to say the least, is a magnetic gradient? Like with that recent magnet collection from ILNP where the base colors are different but they're all silvery magnetic pigments. love the video!
It's an intriguing idea for sure! Maybe I'll try it with a magnet under my mani the whole time to make sure it works??
Ty. I think I need to start building my jelly collection
Yesss they're so fun to play with!!
Thanks for the tips! I tried to do a gradient with ILNP Harvest collection using a sponge and all I got was glitter! 🤷🏻♀️ Was so frustrating! Might try it again this weekend.
Haha don't worry we've all been there 😅💅
Nice vid Kelli! 😊 Did you link those wraps? I had no idea those existed!
Thank you!! 🥰 Yes it's linked in the description! So convenient 😅
These are pretty. My fav was first one. Do you think this could be done similarly with a jelly stamper?
Honestly I've never tried using a stamper for gradients before! I'll have to give it a try 😅
I would love to see you do a magnetic gradient. I just did a skittle of magnetic gradients with Cirques pastels. They're discontinued now. I wish they weren't because I can't buy the 2 I'm out of. But it turned out really well. I did it in the velvet style. So I have exhausted my Cirque pastel magnetic collection. Gotta get a new one.
Ooh did you use a sponge? I'm curious how magnetic gradients work haha!
Thank you for this! Great tutorial!
I was wondering how you would go about doing a gradient with chrome polishes? Is it possible to still get the brushstroke finish? Just curious. I know the brushstroke finish isn’t popular but depending on the polish, I still like it lol
Thought it would be a pretty look.
Thanks again! ❤️💕😎
Hmm, sponging will usually get rid of the brush strokes unfortunately, but if you can find a sheer pearlescent polish to put on top of the gradient then you can probably do that to fake the look of brushstrokes!
@@KelliMarissa Cool! Love that idea! Thanks 💕😎
Can you do a " Prettiest/ Best Wedding Nail Colors"? You have great knowledge and I wish you can share with us. Lots of Love! 💞💞
Yesss!! Are you reading my mind?! Because I just picked out my faves for a video next week 😂😂
@@KelliMarissa Woooww!! I can't wait to see it!! ...and take notes ;) Thank you so much! 🥰❣
@@KelliMarissaOhhh! So many great options out there. My niece is getting married this summer but I think she’s going with the French mani like you did! I’m like but the Cirque options alone!
The last one is giving me big ocean bioluminesense vibes (even though it's technically the wrong color) and now I want to do a glow in the dark gradient
Ooh yes love that idea!!
Great ideas! I wonder if a gradient with magnetic polish is possible??
I'll have to give it a try!!
I'd live to see a magnetic gradient.
Ooh I haven't tried one before but that's a fun idea 👀💅
Hi, Kelli what is the best orange red nail polish? I’ve been looking for one for a while, bc I could never find it at the store.
What about a multi chrome gradient. I have some beauties. Sponge or no sponge. Maybe I’ll try that out. Thanks for the great ideas.
Ooh that's an interesting idea I've never tried before!
very hard to choose one! 😍Do you think it's possible to make a magnetic polish gradient?
Quick question, might sound dumb, but I've never done gradient. Do you blend these colors all before they dry?
Yes you want to make sure the sponge is wet with polish when you apply! But your base color should be dry when you're sponging on :) I've got a video explaining the basics here! ruclips.net/video/q0i-M62E43s/видео.htmlsi=Rcpra21bMbB6-TSM
So you call them Creams and Cristine calls them Crèmes. Is it because shes Canadian? Is this a debate between you?? (Kidding lol). I just realized I call them Crèmes but now my loyalty is split!!!!
Haha! Honestly I just say everything with a American accent 😅 I feel like it sounds pretentious if I try to say something with a French accent (but it's common for Canadians) 😂😂
No fun fact???? 😮
I apologize if this comment seems rude! I hardly ever comment on videos. I have never commented to tell you that I watch your videos on a daily basis. I absolutely love your content! I watch the new content of course, and I rewatch because I find your voice so comforting to have on in the background. Sorry that I haven't commented before. I am a big fan, first time commenter. And I really love the fun facts 😂.
Haha no worries, I'm so happy to have you here 😅💜 I usually only do fun facts in videos with my face in it 😜💅
These are SO Gorgeous ! 😍 The shimmer is so cool ~
Thank you so much!!
