this video is genuinely beautiful
Loved this tutorial!! Pls do more about anything!
☺️🫶🌸
I agree!!!
Same!
my coach taught me to use base coat to make an aura / gradient. so after I applied the last layer of nail gel, I cure it 30s, then apply base coat evenly but don't cure them. after applying the base coat, we put the gel color on the desired area then wait for it to "bloom". she told me it works just like the blooming gel technique.
Base gel doesn't work like blooming gel unfortunately.
You may see your color spred out a bit, but that's the natural effect of gravity and a curved nail.
Actual blooming gel, should pull that color across the nail, and fast.
You barely have enough time to get the all color on, in a pattern as it moves instantly.
If you look at the videos from 5 or 6 years ago, when it 1st came out, you'll see how the real, original stuff moves.
You shouldn't have to let you nail sit on the side for 5 min to bloom...
That's gravity...
thank you for the in depth explanation and camera shots and the clear commentary with no music. love a straight forward tutorial
girl please never stop making videos we love u sm ❤❤❤

I love this video it's so helpful❤
Loved your video ❤
And I like the makartt blooming gel. I think it helps spread the color a lot more.
10/10 awesome video! Thank you so much! I’m gonna try your techniques. You are so incredibly talented! Xx
Thank you so much for this tutorial! And everything is soo aesthetic ❤ as a person who doesn't speak english very well I really appreciate the way you describe everything
Great video! I'm new to nails but I come from making miniatures (of the dollhouse/diorama variety of all scales) and making resin art. Started doing it just for my own nails, developed an allergy so now I will make press ons which are REALLY just teeny tiny canvases. Your videos are great for anyone wanting to start making press ons so thank you so much! However, there is no way I will manage to keep a workspace so neat and clean and tidy!
Awesome tutorial! I loved how practical, concise and funny it is. Thank you!
thanks for letting me know, so glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
ty for da details, love ur work
I mostly use blooming gel but I do agree with how bulky it makes the nail. Thank you for going into depth about the other options!
I actually use blooming gel the most but I’m excited to try some other methods!
Love your videos and your style!
Thank you! I would looove an in depth tutorial vid about airbrush techniques for nails/ how to use an airbrush, cleaning it, etc. if you would be so inclined! 😊 also I love the good ole Mia secret blooming gel- it’s worked well for me and it’s pretty thin so not a lot of bulk ❤
what a nice video
I love your videos so much!!!
I have recently found this channel and I am in LOVEEE with all your videos. I was hoping you could maybe do some nail art tutorials as it would be so helpful and all your tutorials make sense. Thank you!!!!🩷🩷🩷🩷

Me being that one girl… you’re doing Gods work. Thank you ❤❤❤
amo tus videos, sigue así!!!
Love the tutorial thanks
love your videos! this one was really helpful thank you
Excellent video, much appreciated.
I've never clicked on a video so fast. This was very helpful! Which pigment powders do you like to use and which brush? I also can not wait to try the float technique.
I really like your teaching style. It's informative and smart. First video I've seen of yours but I'm definitely subscribing
Whoaa thank you! (and welcome!!) ☺️
Ditto here!!!!
I learned from the Warhammer painting videos too! xD so much of their techniques are great for nail art.
The method I mostly use is the pigment, but it’s hard to layer the different colors without the nail getting too thick, I’m going to try the bloom gel method next time! I love watching your videos 🤍 keep up the great job!!
Thank u so much for this tutorial it has helped greatly! Question, how do you print your backing cards and what size, could you maybe do a tutorial? Thank you, love your content, such amazing talent!
I use Makartts blooming gel, definitely only need a thin layer and it’ll bloom well
i like to do a combo of bloom gel and feathering bc the bloom gel just helps the feathering blend more seamlessly and quicker!
ohh! Crushing it. I’ve never been able to master this combo
Binge watching your videos because my adhd brain and your style of content and explanations 🤝🏼
❣️
If I wanted to do nails just for myself (not to sell), what are the basic items I would need to just start press - on nails at home? I love all these videos you are uploading and I'm so inspired!
I just subscribed hoping you will do an airbrush video. I just got one and I'd love to see anything about them
I like using pigment and also the sponge
Thank you so much for the video! My fave technique so far is pigment, I find that's the easiest but I really wanna try out an airbrush! Could you please detail how you made your own airbrush paint?
Can you do a video for us newbies on how to actually clean one of those super dense sponges after getting gel on it? Do you have to clean it immediately after use, or can you wait until you've finished your nail set?
Love your content! Could you please do a video on chrome? I’m having a hard time with that.
I love this video ! I would love a more in depth tutorial on using an airbrush machine 🥹
thank you for this helpful video! i'm learning so much from you (': i'm hoping to launch my own business in may (for now i am practicing my nail art and watching my fave nail youtubers)
i was just about to search for aura nail tutorials and just saw that you posted this hahaha
😇
Love this tutorial. You are so good and detailed when you share. The "tap the shit" out of it added a giggle. I can't wait for your next video. ❤
😩🫶
Thank you!
hi ami! can you please show us the process on creating and printing the backing cards for your nails? im really interested in the whole process!
I thought this video was so helpful and honestly all of your long form videos are super helpful. Could you make a video about how to make 3d nails? What materials are best and a tutorial of how to use them?😁
yes!! This has been on my list foreverrrr
pls do a video on airbrushing and the difference between gel + acetone mix, or the acrylic paint and how to clean it and stuff 😭🙏. And also i just use topcoat as a blooming gel…👀
my queeeennn
LOOOVE your channel! i was wondering if you include nail glue in your packages or the sticky adhesive stuff? and what brand? thank you for all your tips!!
Madam Glam and Daily Charme both offer great blooming gels.
Thank you
u r my savior
quuuuueeen thank u
Awesome video! I've tried most of these techniques & personally prefer the pigment option on clients; If I want to layer another colour I just do another thin coat of matte top like you said. Otherwise the float method for press ons is where it's at - Let gravity do the work for you! x
You get it
Please show us how you made acrylic paints
Also what do you use to edit your videos? They’re so aesthetic
this was an amazing video! if you ever made an airbrush video i would appreciate it soooo much. ive gone through like 6 airbrush machines bc i dont know what to clean with between color switching besides alcohol and then it ends up messing up the flow of air pressure causing my airbrushing to be more splatter-y and splotchy rather than seamless and smooth like how it is the first couple of uses! even the anatomy of airbrush is so confusing LOL everytime i have taken my machines apart to clean them fully, i dont know how to put them back together T__T
Very very nice 👌
How did you make the airbrush paint??❤
i have a question about blooming gel in general, do you need to use a specially formulated gel or can you replicate the same results with a really thin consistency base coat? i feel like it would yield similar results as long as there was a wet layer for the gel to spread on, no?
I use the sponge method
Hi!! I’m new here! Do you have a video on materials for girlies who just want to do nails for at home (and don’t need the most ultra professional supplies)?! That would be rly helpful bc I don’t consistently do my nails for the longest time (and when I do, it’s mostly the basic or just maintain them clean)!! God bless ❤
Also, if you don’t have it yet, it would be nice if you could possibly give alternatives for girls who don’t do UV (and just use their natural nails as a canvas)!!
Pat pat gels are good for this. I was just about to make a video about airbrushing nails that’s why i searched this up . Lol
Do you know if the gradient brush would work with a non-gel jelly polish?
I was wondering if I could use eyeshadow as a pigment for the first technique??
unrelated to the vid, but what glue do u use to apply the press-ons and how long do they last? i’ve tried so many glues but they never last a week 😭
Those nails😍 l want
What kind of Matt & pigment powder do you use? Every time I do that it peals☹️
what topcoat brand are u using?
I loves this video!!! It would mean the world if you made an indepth video on how to use an airbrush. I just got one and i have no clue how to use it. Love this type of content!! 🥰🩷💅🏼
What's the brush from the first method from?
I have tried the sponge technique with regular polish but it doesnt really seem to work. I think I might have to try it with a proper makeup sponge, because I tried it with a pack of cheaper makeup sponges that were a bit more porous
i feel like top coat does a better job than actual blooming gel. but also u just need to wait a little more for the gel to dissipate, it looks like you're not really waiting enough. that could be why it stays so tiny and leaves a bulk.
My nail drowning brush’ve never worked well every time I deep it in the nail polish or put nail polish over it then start drowning the nail polish colour won’t comes out of the brush, like I didn’t put a lot of nail polish in the brush,do u know what I’m supposed to do please+it not easy to drow with😓🙏🏼
Can u please help me, how to avoid bubbles in the gel when I’m mixing colors together? Like every time i try to mix two gel polish’s together to create my preferred color it get so much bubbles and it shows on the nail 😢
This was so helpful! Consider me a new follower!
welcome friend! 🫶
Can I ask do u do all the editing ur self
i do! 🥲
waaaat no way 1 day when u have time please do a how to edit video... am proud of you good job keep it up!!!!
"the men on the internet making warhammer painting videos" was not on my bingo card for this video
keep the people guessin
for blooming gel you want to add a THIN and I cannot stress THINNNNN enough
I literally mean such a thin layer of blooming gel I love the one from CANDY COAT brand, I personally do gradients all with the brush/feather techniques I use wayyyyy less product, I’ll use a size 0 hook & line art brush with the very tip of my brush I just stipple color on to the nail radially and if I’m using an opaque crème I’ll just add a little base to them to sheer them down (I use diami/Apres gel color) and usually I’m fine
I want to airbrush but I see all the RISKS and so I’m too scared to bring that around clients
Definitely sponge 😉
Absolutely great tutorial, and you didn't over use the term "going in with.." - it drives me silly. Well done, I shall sub!
omg I did use it though!! And I really thought someone was gonna drag me for it 🪦
