Porsche 914 Quarter Panel And Roll Cage Repair

As progress is happening its safe to say that the 914 unibody has many paces where you can find hidden rust. I wasn’t expecting that I’d have so much welding to do after removing the roof pillar panel.
In the beginning it’s off to another average video with steel grinding and welding but it really is tranquil watching steel welds disappear before your eyes. After blending in the steel and priming the exposed metal I introduce next weeks task of choice.
For the love of Porsche and all hobbyists the video is a representation of how a lot of time and effort an be shown in just a few short minutes. The light at the end of the auto body tunnel is getting brighter as we get closer and closer to completing all the rust repairs and on to stripping the car!
