This Porsche 914 restoration project has been on hold for a year or two due to other projects but now the poor little 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 is BACK! In this video, I rescue the 914 Porsche from it’s cold and damp position on the drive under a cover, under a tree and check to see what condition it is in. As mentioned my car is 2.0 Porsche 914 from 1975 and so is one of the last cars to be made. Even so, it is still almost 40yrs old. Plenty of time for some rust to get into it… Time for the rebuild!

Don't know how I missed this but similar work to what I did when I purchased last summer, a 1978, VW T2 Camper!
All finished now, which allowed me to get onto nicer/ easier BMW projects 😊

Hi @arnietwo11 I remember us talking about your VW T2 camper van, really cool project! Yes, classics defo aren't the way to go if you want to turn things around quickly - time consuming and a lot of work! I actually like the work and as long as my viewers are enjoying it too I might always have a long term resto on the go... Cheers, Phil
