I have a 5th Generation Ram 1500 with factory fold mirrors which have the lights under the mirrors. They come on with the remote, or when you exit the truck. Bought a Taser Dt and activated the auto mirror following feature and now I have noticed that the lights all ways stay off. Does activation of the auto fold mirror feature cancel out the light from working that any knows of?
Awesome for people whose motors aren’t blown out from ding dongs folding and stripping the gears 😂

My 2016 came with everything except auto fold mirrors - are your auto fold mirrors aftermarket - is Tazer the brand ? If so easy to install??

Tazer is the name of the device I’m using to adjust my BCM programming.

@@donyonkers100 negative, you’ll need something to tell the BCM to perform the function
Does the tazer need to stay connected to keep the changes?
For live features, yes the Tazer needs to remain connected. For features like tire size correction, you can use the Tazer to adjust for tire size, then after rebooting your truck, the Tazer can be removed without impacting the settings.
Does the Tazer have the ability to make the side mirrors run as marker lights?
I’ll look into it, I know people have said it does but I think they are confusing a few different options that affect the drl/mirrors/signals
My 2023 Bighorn did not come with the power folding mirrors option but I have gathered and installed all parts that are needed (both door modules and both power mirrors plus the master switch) will I be able to enable the fold option with the Tazer? I dont need it to auto fold. I just want the mirrors to fold when I press the button on the switch.

You should be able to activate that function with the Tazer. Check the Tazer manual and see if that’s a setting you can enable. I’m pretty sure it is but would suggest checking before buying.

Well. Bought the Tazer, turned on autofold and it did not work. 2018 Ram with factory folding mirrors.
That’s a 4th gen so not sure I can advise there since my truck and video is 5th gen focused
