I have a 17 sport, it’s one of the sublime green rams and my favorite feature is the fold out platforms under the rear seats. It’s absolutely the most convenient feature for grocery shopping or anytime we have to carry anything that we don’t want to haul in the bed

If to haven't had a problem; cool, but normally rolling up "hot" wires is frowned upon. Maybe, that's just for bigger extension cords (?)

Dude, 2022 ram 1500 new body. Ran out of gas in middle of 45(tx-hwy) in 2 o’clock traffic time,while switching lanes, first time ram owner, I couldn’t get the truck to switch gears, had to be towed because cops were called and were told there was a roll over, then called again saying their was a wreck, I’m subscribing, immediately helped with 1st tip. Thank you bud.

Nice video! I didn't know about the first one there. I knew there had to be a way to put it into neutral but didn't know how. Now I know, just in case!
I’ve actually used this to help someone that was having issues with their truck.
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 unfortunately if the electric e-brake is on, and the truck don't recognize the key fob, u can't get it to release. So pulling the tab to get the truck in neutral won't work well with the rear tires locked up. Ram didn't realize that one haha.

Preston a thousand thank yous for your OH you didn't know video's. We were having issues with interior lights not coming on when we opened doors, and were looking in the manual, couldn't find a solution, so told my husband I'm looking on Preston's channel. And sure enough just looked at this particular video, and sure enough, I had found out that I had accidentally turned the dome light toggle switch off!! As soon as I saw that on the video, I knew that I had switched it off when looking to turn on one of those small lights!!! You are our go to guy for explaining and showing how to do it!!!!! Well that won’t work well. I’ve heard of Newfoundland. I didn’t know about the “and Labrador” part of the province. But, thanks to a musical my wife and I have watched, I did know that Newfoundland is in the east coast of Canada.

The Tip I learned from my 2003 Ram 1500 Laramie Quad-Cab 4x4 5.7L by accident is that if I ever forget to turn off any Interior lights and even the Headlights (even though the Headlights have a chime that goes on letting me know that they are still on after turning off the truck), say I'm in a hurry and don't turn them off.
After a brief period of time any lights that were left on will automatically turn off after about 5-10 minutes. I don't have to worry about my battery being dead the next morning, as soon as I enter the truck the next morning I will see if I left any lights on after closing the door, and when I turn on the ignition the chime for the Headlights starts making noise, I have never had a dead battery.

5 months ago I bought my first ram 2019 quad cab rwd, low mileage, 8600 at the time of purchase, but I learned last month that on your key fob with the remote start button, you can shut your truck off pushing it, I did it twice just to be sure that was the case lol 😂, good video, now I've got to check out the bottom of my rear seats and the paper clip

@@stonefaced4578 well, the majority of my driving, basically 💯 % is highway, I deliver parts to paint and body shops in the west Texas area and didn't see the need for 4x4, however, my next truck purchase will most definitely have 4x4 lol, plus 4x4 takes away from the payload of the truck, it's my first truck purchase in 25 years, 1994 was the last time I bought a pickup

My back head rest don't have the nifty button to drop them down. So I took the headrest out. Also took bulbs from rear cargo lamps as my keys don't give me that option. Of course mine is a 19 classic. Great to know about release for towing. Thank you
Definitely don’t use that transmission release for towing. That’s more of a “I’m stalled in the middle of the road and need to push it out of the way” use case. Towing purposes require the transfer case to be in neutral.

A RAM Warlock is on my PLEASE have list 😅
Currently driving a Ford FG XR8 Ute, which pretty much has the same power output, both in Horsepower & Torque as the 5.7 litre RAM
There are a fair few things I LOVE about the RAM Warlock.
The one thing that sticks out the most is the interior space 🙂
My only concern is RAM trucks are not exactly Car Park friendly ???
Our average longest vehicle is around 5.3 Metres the RAM is another 500mm / 20 inches LONGER ???
This is only thing that concerns me the most ??

The warlock isn’t worth it. I wanted one too. It’s an express with an off road package. I had an express. Wasn’t a good truck. Get a rebel if you want the off road look. You need to get a big horn or better with a ram for it to be worth while
I have a 22 warlock, and I wish I had bought a big horn. 50 k gor a truck that doesn't have power seat or even radio controls on the steering wheel. It looks good but for 50 k I'm not impressed.

Would you know where to find a complete list of U Connect voice commands? I’ve never seen anything so poorly documented before. Same as the software updates. My 2022 received one on the weekend but I have no idea what features were added or changed or even what the software version changed to.

Which UConnect system do you have in your vehicle? UConnect 4 or 5. Does it have factory navigation?

I cannot find any Information on how to take apart the rear of the center console?
My RAM 3500 2020 usb ports lights (those white around the usb ports) stay on little after i shut down the vehicle, i can't find a way to keep them off when the vehicle is off, how do i do that? Does that affect batteries?

There’s a way to get them to fold down, but it’s more for mechanics to access the areas behind the seat.

Try turning the switch off in the overhead console that controls the interior dome light.
Or press the cargo light button.

When I had a 2015 the tow truck driver drug it up the tow truck with the parking brake locked because I lost all power and at the time neither of us knew there was a rope to put it in neutral

My 2020 diesel big horn doesn’t have a middle seat cargo box like that. Nor do I have visor clips or bag hooks under my back seats.

I think that most of them won’t because it’s the old body style.
2023 Ram 2500 Laramie level 1, 12" screen... When backing up at night , the bottom half of display is bright white, causing alot of glare... Can this be changed to black or the camera be made full screen? Im old with thick glasses, glare is a killer!!!

I see nobody answered you, so here goes. I'm definitely NOT an expert, but I think maybe it DOESN'T fold down? The seats DO fold up, but I think the backs DON'T fold down, at least I haven't been able to on my 2019 RAM BigHorn. Hope that helps.

Sorry, only 4th and 5th gen info. If I had a 2nd or 3rd gen to mess around and figure stuff out on, then maybe…. But those were simpler trucks.
Question. What do you do if your key fob doesn't work. A message says " Key fob not connected". I changed the pancake battery, and still no key fob . What do you do now
Sounds like the key fob wasn’t programmed.

@@brianpayne7388 use the fob to start truck by pushing the start button with the fob, not your finger. If that don't work, pull the battery out of the fob then reinstall battery. Then retry to start truck with fob pushing the start button.

I had the same issue on my 2021 Limited last year. After a considerable amount of research and testing it seems that you to need to subscribe to the cheapest option for the Sirius SM Uconnect service; however, there is a roundabout way to access the maps in the navigation system by pressing the talk button on the left side of the steering wheel. You can also use a roundabout way to enter an address from the 12" touch screen however, neither option is as nice as simply pressing the microphone on the 12" display and telling the system where you want to go or a place to find. You have likely discovered that if you saved any favorites they are still available in the navigation system.
I discovered all of this after I wasted my money and updated my maps after last year. It seems that the search feature uses cell technology to find places, any it seems to be up to date. I searched for a business that closed last year after I updated my maps and the navigation system found the business; however, when I activated my subscription the online product knew that the business had closed and was no longer in the area.
I would also agree with others that the documentation is clearly lacking for many of the online tools.

Any tips on why my Ram occasionally refuses to recognize the fob? Battery is in great shape, new battery in fob. When it fails it won't recognize either fob. Towed twice to Chrysler dealership. They have no idea why this happens. Then the tow truck driver tells me to touch the fob to the start button. Chrysler never told me about that.
Are you holding the fob near a cell phone or tablet when it fails?
No not at all. The dealer is stymied but claims someone in our town is using a short wave radio which may cause this. Thanks for the response.

@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 push the start button with the key fob instead of your finger. If that still don't work, pull the battery out of the fob, then put it back in, and try to start truck with pushing the start button with the fob.

2015 RAM when cruise control stops turning on with button....tap steering wheel 3x just above switch, now press the button. WORKS! LMAO seems to be the CHEAPEST, easiest fix to a common problem.
Is there any way my 2018 power wagon can get the same and should be better ( save the planet lol ) fuel mileage as my 2004 f250 superduty... 18.5 mpg average compared to 13mpg.. please i need a save the planet person/scientist i dont care who to explain to me how a 14year newer truck gets worse mileage then a 14 year older truck ...
If you put a battery tender on to charge up after sitting a while and your charging ports won't work you need to either disconnect the battery or pull fuses to get it to work again. It's annoying

Fyi Neutral over ride doesnt always work. My e parking brake wont release so it doesnt matter what you do lol.
Parking brake is a different issue altogether. Is yours an electric park brake?
