  • Here's my first install and setup of 4 Aurasound Pro transducer modules going on my home theater seats. I got everything for under $400 from parts Express and spent under $50 for all the needed hardware to custom mount them. Besides a solid mount, the most important thing is the SETUP, getting the phase exactly right, the best crossover point and the levels matched. Once you do that, they simply feel like they are part of huge subs in the room!

I enjoyed your video. I laughed when I heard and saw that you were adding 2 shakers to two small couches. At the end of video you noted that one in the middle would have worked fine - that's what I was thinking when I watched the start of your video. I have had mine for 5 years now and they still work amazingly well. I have two placed in a sectional couch (one on each leg of the couch and they really rock it!). Great video and I look forward to seeing more of your content.

I totally agree they are a must have. I couldn't live without them. I have 8 of them 2 on each seat. Going to a crown xls1002. I did have to get a rolls mb15 to up the voltage of my subwoofer output even though it has a 1.4 or a .775 selector in the menu. It actually made a world of difference. They are awsome when you get them dialed in right. It just adds another dimension to what you are watching. I'm not known to jump on scary movies but I have jumped a few times because of the bass shakers. Definitely worth the money!

Had to run it through the miniDSP AT NEG -7DB high-frequency filter at 28hz so the sofa didn’t lift off. Mad max road fury is AWSOME with this setup. I'm planning on using the LFE out from one of my SVS subs into the amp with RCA cables and then using the speaker out to connect to 2 of the aura tranducers in parallel. I plan on setting the cutoff to 40Hz since I don't have a DSP.
If I'm not using any wireless transmitter will I still have an issue with delays between the sub and the transducers considering it's wired in daisy chain?

10 is a real stretch for either of them ,in reality you get a good 20 from both. The aura just have a little more impact. Both are tiny little diaphragm designs. I might be an idiot. I went out and bought two of these 4 Aurasound Pro transducers, but just got a cheap little Pyle 2x120 amp. I came here for advice about how to hook it all up. Yikes! I can install the things onto my chair OK. But is it possible for a simple fool like myself to just hook this stuff up? I don't have a DSP or anything like that. I can't computer-tune my system or compensate for signal delays. I've got the cheapest 7.1 receiver that Sony makes. Am I in over my head trying to add this gear to my otherwise very simple 7.1 setup? I thought it would be as easy as when I added my side speakers - I just plugged them in and I went from 5.1 to 7.1. Will I never be able to achieve the seamless experience that you describe with what I have? I would genuinely appreciate your reply. I'm concerned I may have just wasted my money, or may need to invest much more. Thank you.
