There's not really a point honestly lol. The only weapons you can do that with are CBs (Phials), Bows (Charge levels), and GL's (Ammo Style) other than every other weapon type doesnt have anything special that sets them apart. Example: Elder Weapon are obviously going to be the best if your talking about Ice no matter how much you spin it.
Cant wait to farm more materials to get the best of the best. Also ,spoiler ahead* I can't wait for Teostra arms with artillery. And his blast bow with rapid 4 then spread 4.
I hate to be that guy, but I really think hammer should be B tier. It's a niche weapon that really only shines as a support/farming build. I have a G10 diablos hammer build that will make black diablos flop like a magicarp for 30 seconds, but it still struggles to finish it off... pair it with a DPS build... or against weaker monsters it does well. I really don't have the credentials to argue LBG vs bow, but LBG is easy DPS mode. The difference between the LBGs I have, and comparable melee weapons is immense. Except DBs... but this comment is already long...
From the crazy gameplay of GS-aggressive dodge users slaying 10* with ease, I thought it would be s-tier. Not sure, I love the LBG somehow, a fun weapon at least in group content. But need much more refining materials and loadouts so I can expand to experience (high upgraded) other weapons, can't tell how great it is without having the full potential unlocked
that isnt justification for it to be S Tier. Its not a FEATURE of the Great Sword itself. You also need to Driftsmelt it so its not practical or fair to include as a justification. Its not something you can build like a weapon or armor. Its super RNG factor. In addition, Aggressive Dodging requires you TO PERFECT DODGE. Thats why I dislike those videos because it sets this false premise that it is easy. Everyone always publishes the result, none of them actually tell you or show you how much they practiced before they got that run and I bet you it wasn't as fast or easy as it looks lol.

But kinda wondering how Teostra will change the charts, in case it will be explosion element on weapons, how good/bad it will be. If it will be worth to chase at or if it only makes sense for lbg due ammo. Or if they will make a great fireweapon then. Any idea?
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERSI spend more positions with dual blades than I do Gs maybe bc I’ve got a few thousand hours in with it over mh titles but the force stamina swap and the fact that I’m basically slapping monsters with a wet noodle when not in demon mode just feels horrible. They really need to look into putting an arch demon mode into the game for feel alone. I get db are the best weapons for melee but they just feel so meh without burst
Can now confirm, Sagittarius bow is VERY good. I’m always against going with meta weapons but I decided to give it a try. And I’ve been stuck on 7* azure rathalos if I’m not using my 8* legi SNS. So I decided to try the Sagi bow. And I accidentally easily killed the 7* AR. If I can accidentally kill a monster with ease, the weapon is godly.
As a GS lover and main I have to agree with the tierlist. I see GS as the sniper rifle of the game where it deals massive damage to targeted parts of the body but punishes you heavily when you don't play perfectly. I've found multiplayer is hit and miss though. If the monster is really mobile it's difficult to get charged attacks off. Not sure what a buff for the GS would even look like that would help it keep up with the S tier in DPS but not break the game lol
haha thats pretty much it. For the lance and GS to get better they need to either add mechanics or up their damage values, which would likely never happen. If they buff it a little bit GS can go to A. But with new weapons coming out im sure most of their focus right now is on the remaining weapons that havent released yet.
As an LBG main, I'm kind if surprised that from what I feel is their lack of overall DPS without playing PD (staying away from normal ammo) allows them to actually be in A tier, difficult in Multiplayer due to random aggro Gonna consider either the CB, DB or LS after getting all the LBG to 10-5 and relevant armors up to grade 10, maybe maxed - lesson learnt from the sheer amount of one taps suffered during the 2 days of the ticketed event that you'll get hit no matter how proficient you are, given that it's a battle of sheer attrition, low G8s and high G7s will not save you from hits from 9* and 10* monsters, and even glancing hits from 8*s can be crippling
Ranged weapons in general are pretty much A+ since you take away a lot of monsters attacks. During 1000 Mizutsune I got down to 30-40 second 8 star kills the range buff updates mattered a lot. I got good enough to only using 34 potions that entire run in less than 5 days. Thats only one potion per 29 Mizutsune and I slayed 600+ 8 stars during that timeframe. Wouldn't have been able to do that with any other set up since Thunder LBG has artful/evade extender 1 as BiS slots. Dodging and mastering range in general is always going to overtake getting hit.
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS Was primarily using my Jho LBG during that event instead to assist for tail cuts. Our DB main was getting hammered consistently and used up the most potions in the group, and the other 2 members were GL users so mobility getting to the tail was awkward for them We got most of the Mizus tails cut, hence low kill count but high R6 (300+ only and already a maxed Mizu LBG for me), but the potion cost was high for the DB user (topped up 1500 gems that one Saturday) and 40 for me across both days (21 + 19 legacy)
LS main and 11k hunts a good investment and mechanics was worth the swap from sns main. Now with mr beast I can use my sns experience for my partbreaker hunts. It feels so good at G10.1 Also at G10.3 it out dps's my G10.5 pink rathian ls/ kinda
Sadly its not easy to implement because you would have to load EVERYONES loadouts in the world. Seeing as the September major update is coming soon we can only hope thats something being considered later.
7:50 Now I feel like the Mr Beast Sword and shield is just a Blast weapon hidden in a Raw weapon. Maybe they did it to try blast damage before blast will be a thing in MHNow? Idk. It just feels like it, and I've been using the weapon without noticing that.
In a sense kinda or a prelude to Blast. It doesn't operate like blast element it definitely has a feature of it. But if it doesn't have to build up to explode that's actually really nice because monsters that resist blast won't resist that additional damage from the firework explosion.

Is S&S at A rank a consideration of the entire set of weapons and matchups? I guess I'm confused if the Mr. Beast weapon is considered the best melee weapon in the game, wouldn't that mean S&S by definition should rank the same or higher than the other melee weapons? Is this simply a case where folks haven't had the time to break record times yet to update this list? or does it simply get crowned the best in terms of a raw weapon, but is outclassed by properly matched elemental matchups?
Unless its a super weapon I'm not using any of that other data because it wouldn't be a fair assessment. If we went by just pure match ups then the LBG would be S tier for the fact it removes nearly all a monsters close range movements that don't have anything flying out as a result of it (Banbaro). Every element also has the same values unless you have the Super weapon Bow compensations. Dual Blades got buffed and has Black Diablos DBs the damage on average is on par with the MrBeast SnS not taking the Skill into account (and even then its not a blow out like the bow superweapons). Long Sword has Iai Spirit Slash and the Spirit Gauge boost. The problem with the SnS is MrBeast SnS is only the best "Raw" melee weapon and its mechanics don't top the S tier melee weapons and what they offer (DB's Demon Mode buff and LS's game breaking skills) and MrBeast SnS while it is the best isn't a total blow out like Blos or Kushala Bow (Blos beats its elemental counterparts and Kushala Nukes all the other ice weapons)

Keep it as it is. Rathalos is the strongest fire so far, but it isn’t a super weapon. Go for black diablos bow if you can as it’s the best raw bow in the game. That weapon at 9.1 can take out every 8 star in the game. Otherwise if you really want to wait for teostra. It might not be fire though and you’ll need it at a high grade to be really good anyways.
I use LS, CB, Bow, SNS in MH Now but I only use GS in IceBorne and other MH in PSP. I tried GS here but I was rather disappointed. MH Now did not do GS justice or I just lack the skill to wield it in MH Now 😂.
And what's the diffence with the kushla frost wind vs the wind proof do they do the same thing/ frost winter helps aginst dragons also or are they two totally diffeent skills

I am hoping for more loadouts in the future to make space for lbg builds. My loadouts are full.

Dual blades SS tier been clearing a few 8* monsters with a grade 7 lvl 4 odogaron dual blades using power prolonger and burst

DB and bow is the real S tier along with Long Sword and Great Sword in my opinion and lance is purely support weapon or tank with 3 dps

Their two different skills. Frost wind has an effect like Windproof, but also gives bonus damage when using Ice Element.
