Ghost Rider's MvC3 theme 🔥💀🏍️👊🎶
Hmmm. Is it from the top ten songs to melt cans with album?
I just want to note that I am 90% sure that kirin in frontier when on Hardcore or above is chosen for the quest he can teleport
Nef-Garmat's crystals being bright blue and powered by draining the energy of the environment is basically set up PERFECTLY to have been explained as bioenergy thanks to World's lore. It would be incredibly easy to retroactively alter without actually changing anything about it.
It's the easiest layup in the world dawg.
@@cr-volcanicEasiest layup in the Monster Hunter World.
@@therighttrousers343Or better yet, Wilds
Would be a missed opportunity not putting the LITERAL DESERT DRAGON OF BLUE CRYSTALS on the game where the main trailers are on a WASTELAND DESERT OF BLUE CRYSTALS.
The Lagiacrus subspecies being unironically named "Land Conquest Lagiacrus" made me laugh harder than i should, now imagining the Vikings pulling up with a whale sized death crocodile.
Honestly I think Nef Garmat could work super well in Wilds.
Just from what little we have seen of Wilds it looks like a large part of the region will be dry steppes which could be at the edge of a dessert. His ability to drain energy from the ground would work well with the bioenergies that exists in the new world, his crystals even have almost the same colour as the bioenergy.
It's a super easy layup
So basically moru’s wings are gigginoxified. It’s consistent enough with other elder dragon biologies, and leads me to believe nakarkos may also be capable of consumption with its arms’ openings.
That sounds horrifying lmao
i mean nakarkos tentacles may look like heads but they arent actual heads/mouths. they almost look more like trunks than secondary mouths, especially considering they are preety much puppeteering fake heads.
Morudomunto gives me huge Wendigo vibes, what with his dark wintery aesthetic and his multiple 'mouths' really hammering home the insatiable predator vibe.
Oh yeah, absolutely wendigo vibes.
About the thing on top of Seabream Plesioth's head, it's a Kagami Mochi. A traditional Japanese decoration consisting of two mochi stacked with the smaller one placed atop the larger one, and an orange with an attached leaf on top.
Morudomunto is extreme, the magalas can change the sky but this guy is running on body horrors😱💀💀
the way you described Mordomond is legit hair-raising. legit gave me chills listening to you talk about that super-attack
Lmao thanks man! I try to go extra hard in those sections
Oh the things I would do to see Morudomunto in the future of Monster Hunter, while also including Nef Garmat and Eo Garudia as well naturally. Words do not do them all justice, they are all 11/10 creations.
Explore is in the same vein as Frontier of being on my bucket list for games I want to play, so it really gives me a lot of heart hearing a revival is currently in the works. I’m happy to have gone on these adventures with you CR, and I hope to tune more into the Frontier streams sometime. Cheers.
My chat told me that there is a revival effort underway, it it does come to fruition I'm absolutely playing it
While Kirin has never full on teleported around like Thunder Emperor. The 4u Kirin intro shows some more lore accurate speed, using the lightning to disorientate and distract the hunter to help explain the legend of Kirin's speed
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure HC G Rank Kirin in Frontier can also teleport (or at least it's fast enough it looks that way)
And he also "teleports" in his fight against Rajang in the cinematic from MHO
I can't wait to see your reaction to Santa Claus Volvidon lmao
Best Mall Santa
It's interesting how similar Nefu is to Safi. If it ever came back I suspect that the induction crystals will be explained as being crystallised bio energy.
Highly likely
Nef Garmat is like a bastard child between Safi'Jiva and Shara Ishvalda, it's awesome
Fan fact: Morudomunto's name came from two words in German language, and roughly translated to, and i quot, : "The *MURDEROUS MOUTH*"... That's very self-describing name.
P.S. And I was thinking that Nef-Garmat was that 11/10 monster that was mentioned in seconds Frontier video. And when Eo Garudia pass by, my mind was like: "No shot is Morudo is THAT monster!"... And here we are - my personal favourite Explore OC dragon is wining 11/10 raiting. YEAH! Morudomunto in main line would be BLOODY SICK and I here all for it!
P.S.S. And just right now i found out than Morudo took Albertosaurus roar from JP: operation genesis.
I have heard about the roar stealing as well lmao. Yeah no dude, Moru is fuckin SICK. love that dude
I found out about Morudomunto a few years ago thanks to RageGaming and ever since then, I've been praying that he shows up in one of the mainline Monster hunter games because he would be absolutely insane! The fight would be amazing, the armor would look amazing, just everything about him would be amazing if put into modern Monster Hunter!
Perhaps Wilds will finally be his chance? Only time will tell...
You and I got the same prayers lol
Induction crystals are probably the reason TEPPEN introduced the Great Apypos and Nef-Garmat. The expansion they were added in was one in a three-part storyline about Myria, a makevolent goddess and the main antagonist of Breath of Fire III.
In this storyline, Myria had access to magic crystal stones that, when embedded in a being's forehead, put their minds under her control. A Great Apypos and Nef-Garmat both got mind-control stones, and she used them as guardians to stop the heroes from crossing a region called the Desert of Death.
I believe those monsters and not the entire Explore roster were chosen *because of* their preexisting connection to supernatural crystals, and the desert environments they call home.
Immortal Zinogre could be such a cool and dynamic fight if they expanded on the healing fulgurbugs. Imagine being able to get healing from stray bugs but also voluntarily inflicting yourself with thunderblight or an enhanced thunderblight that can't be negated with blight resistance skills. If you've got nulberries with you, you'd have to decide if you wanna ration them out and only use them when necessary or throw caution to the wind, using them to get big healing while also burning out some of your supplies much faster (although there'd probably need to be some tuning so you can't just restock your items mid-hunt and continue with more nulberries). Resource trades that encourage more skillful play would be really cool to see more of in MH.
Yeah, maybe he’s typically a more weak and frail Zinogre that can jack himself up with the healing bolts if you let him or something
I would absolutely LOVE if the four Explore-original monsters could come to mainline Monster Hunter. Nef Garnet especially is so freaking cool and I also need a plushie of him.
Also don’t knock Sweet Tooth Tigrex down! He wanted to show everyone his therapy plushies! Probably my favorite of the silly crossover monsters simply because he is a fellow plushie enjoyer.
I sorta like the idea that Eo Garudia is not a relative of Nef Garmat, but is just what male Nef Garmat looks like.
Maybe Nef desertifies regions it intends to nest in to push out predators that would hunt its young (If we’re putting it in the new world, it’d probably also kill Nergigante’s spines to prevent it from reproducing nearby so it doesn’t hunt Nef or the hatchlings)
It doesn’t fly much because it doesn’t need to, it stays around its nest.
Eo flies around to maximize the distance it can travel and thus the number of Nef Garmats it can mate with.
Unsure why it undoes Nef’s desertification, maybe it’s to endanger the hatchlings, since if the babies Nef had with another Eo die, then it needs to mate again. Or more positively it is to bring back food for the hatchlings once they’re old enough to defend themselves.
Morudomunto was already one of my favorite elder dragons in the series just based on concepts alone and you’ve sold me even more on it
yeah man, he does some fuckin cool shit
I never thought that MH Explore's Trio of Elders dragons are fcking wild, both in lore and fights. Now im on board to see them back in some form, but not Morudomunto. I.WANT.HIM.BACK AS IS!!! This sick drgn deserves the spotlight of modernity to it
Fiercewater could be a population of narga that are trapped on a sodden island, and having SO MUCH water in their system that they have to expel it, and the enhanced water release mechanisms were then modified into offensive tools.
yeah its a bit of a longshot but you can kinda mental gymnastics your way into making it work
Also although Frozen Barrioth never made in one to one in mainline. Frostfang being labelled Frozen Barrioth in those data files might not have been a mistranslation. From it's reasoning for the variant being the same, (living in a harsher, colder environment,) the increase in it's ice abilities, the darker hue of the tusks and having blue ice on the tusks of Frostfang- It wouldn't surprise me if Frostfang was inspired directly by Frozen Barrioth and perhaps even shared the name early on, before being changed?
This is all speculation of course, but it's fun to think about 🤷♂
These videos have done such amazing positivity to these games.^^
You had my respect from the Frontier 2-parter, but now, You have become one of my favorite MH RUclipsrs.❤
Thank you! I'm proud to provide something that the community as a whole seems to love.
I really want to see what happens when a Rajang eat a Thunder Emperor Kirin horn
The monkepocalypse
I believe Virulent Gigginox's color scheme is supposed to be evocative of venomous sea life, like the Blue-Ringed Octopus (one of the deadliest things on Earth despite it's dimunitive size). It's probably to warn off rival predators.
Holy shit! I did not expect something like Morodomunto to show up, and while every monster in this series has made me excited and I’ve loved in one way or another, this one takes the cake.
He’s so fucking rad. Doesn’t help that my other favourite games are soulslikes and he reminds me so much of a Dark Souls boss like Manus, especially with that gorgeous dark and forboding theme, its that deep achapella man.
Edit: Just saw the wing mouths. Awesome. Luckily I’m not one to value realism a whole lot, and though I do appreciate the fact that monster hunter has it in its art direction, I really love the creativity, the feeling and the personality something more fictional or fantasy-like can create a bit more. Wicked. I really hope this guy comes back!
His biology blew my mind the first time I saw it too.
Great Video as always! Purple Orb my beloved 💜
As Always thank you for all the hard work you and your team have put into this video. I am very happy to have seen this awesome presentation, featuring crazy and cool monsters that I wish I could fight, just perfect. ❤
I'm very glad you enjoyed!
For Mordomunto, my idea would be that the wing mouths are like the folds of a Venus Flytrap. You're trapped and acid slowly breaks you down before your juices are absorbed through the inner membrane into either it's actual digestive system or even sending the nutrients directly into it's bloodstream!
i would think you get shredded into a fine paste and acid finishes the job pretty quickly. Morudomunto needs to get these nutrients in its system FAST
I have a theory about Nef Garmat and Eo Gurudia, and that's that in actuality they're both the SAME monster. By which I mean that they're the same species but more specifically the male and female examples of their species. Similarly to the relationship Teo and Luna have or the raths. Where they have some physical similarities but at the same time look VERY different from eachother to the point they're given different names.
Nef Garmat I like to think is the male, just based on it's overall color scheme. It's got relitively muted colors overall. But the most important factor that leans me towards it being the male is it's behaviour of actively looking for a specific ore in the sand. Which is likely used in display courtship to signify the strength of the Nef Garmat to the potential mate of Eo Garudia. Either based on how shiny the crystal is or how large. Also it being classified as a death dragon probably makes sense if it's a very aggressive monster. That's in heat/musk like an elephant which can be EXTREMELY dangerous, and I could see how a roided up horny elder dragon could cause issues. Hell NORMAL monsters in monsters have that going for them and they're just as feared for that reason. Big examples being Glavanus, Seregios, and Mizutsune. Every single one canonnically is male for a reason and that reason is that they're in heat.
But on the subject of Eo Garudia them being female makes a lot of sense just based on their lore. She's literally called the "life giver" yet nothing about her abilities really signify that at all. She doesn't like magically make plants grow around her or anything. Hell one of her elements fire, which I guess sure you could argue can help create life because if you burn plants it creates carbon which plants love, and does help them grow. But we fight them in a desert?? So where is the title "life giver" coming from exactly UNLESS they mean she "gives life" to the next generation of the Set Garmat and Eo Garudia species.
Capcom wouldn't put so much emphasis on two elders having such a close connection of they either werent related and keep eachother in check somehow. Which at least for that second option we have no lore given example of the two fighting eachother for dominance or anything. They just say they're connected as "life and death".
I was so hyped for this, great work as usual man. Now I’m thinking about what kind of Volvidon variant I’d want^-^
Appreciate it
morudomunto is such a crazy design and i love it. Hoping he somehow gets into a mainline game. I recently saw art of him beating nergigante and now i need to see a terf war between them so badly.
He's nutty but they could totally get him to work
Excellent work bringing this series to its conclusion. Loved it, and I feel like I know Monster Hunter a fair bit better now.
More than happy to do a lil work preserving these monsters
1.5 week later, the algorithm recommended this to me.
Sadly the game doesn't give much info regarding the monsters.
They simply release the monster quest, refuse to elaborate further and leave.
I can relate the whole nightmarish feeling trying to study Black Star Beast Volvidon. (Get it? study? Because I wear a school uniform)
It was a 16 Hunters Quests that only lasted for 2 weeks. Hence the footage is very scarce.
Even with my slightly above average lingual advantage, I could only find 5 videos about it.
From the footage, the odour attack can randomly inflict Burn/Shocked/Noxious Poison/Sleep, sometimes also accompanied with Paralysis.
Sorry for making it difficult to look up but it is in 16 Hunters Quest Compilation at the 6 minute mark.
It was stressful because I wanted to include as much as I can.
Maybe it could do even more but I have researched as much as I could.
The extra tidbits that you gave to all these monsters are cool! More reasons behind the design and execution would be superb.
Sadly, they didn't release artbook collection for Monster Hunter Explore for more insights.
Oh hey! Nice to see ya here. Well I gotta tell ya, your work made this video way better than it would have been otherwise. Lmao. May have been limited but I think I got something pretty entertaining out of these fairly obscure monsters
@@cr-volcanic I'm glad you find my works make it easier to understand mhxr's fun stuff. The game being region exclusive and on mobile only is enough to make bad reputation.
But you can see how much fun they had when designing these monsters
Morudemunto is straight up a dark souls boss
Got that vibe yeah
I cannot get over how you narrate/describe abilities, I was fully locked in for Morudomunto 😭
Fantastic video!
Fr, his descriptions are perfect for showing the real might of these godly creatures.
I try to go extra hard for the scripts in those areas
I really want Explore Monsters in the main series games, especially Nef-Garmat as it’s so unique for a flagship!
How dare you make this wonderful video bringing back the obscure, unused, unloved, uknown, underappreciated and AWESOME monsters that need all the attention they deserve on a channel where they will be introduced for the first time to many hunters that will grow to love and adore these monsters...
BEFORE I CAN INTRODUCE THEM TO THE PLAYERS OF MY MH DND CAMPAIGN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
THEY MIGHT SEE THIS VIDEO MAN
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Andrew if you see this comment I FORBID YOU from watching this video. I FORBID YOU.
lol, sorry bud
Morudomunto always reminded me of Nosferatu Zodd for some reason, i think it is the Head shape and Demeanor. One hell of a Badass Monster!
damn, this channel is really underrated, already loving it
Thank you! Let's hope we can get us properly rated in due time lmao
woaaaaah the stretchy wings on the crown monster are CRAZY i love that
The fight looks mad fun
The two fire raths could honestly work as like, Variants in the main series if they wanted to be "revamped", maybe base em off the Phoenix or something, and for Fire Rathalos they could give him Dragon or something to make him more interesting. Also the explore original dragons are all peak 🙏
They gotta come up with some new ideas for Rathalos variations lmao. They all go for super duper fire lmao
This might be the Copium speaking, but I'm now convinced that Nef Garmat and Eo Garudia are coming to Wilds. The Windswept Planes are said to be frequently savaged by sandstorms, and Nef seems to be the elder dragon that represents the concept of sandstorms in the same way Kushala represents tornadoes and Kirin represents thunderstorms. We're told that the planes (and possibly all Wild's locales) will be defined by having times of great prosperity and abundant resources, and times of intense calamity and harsh weather conditions. Nef brings the calamitous sandstorms that force monsters to fight tooth and nail to hold onto what little resources they can, and then Eo arrives to disrupt the storm and return the locale to a more prosperous state
They’d fit pretty easy man
So, I had heard of and seen images of Thunderbubble Mizu a while before Sunbreak and its title updates came out, so I was familiar with it and thought it was very cool.
Then when the Sunbreak title updates started coming out and I saw a purple Mizutsune in the title update trailer I got a little bit excited, but then got mildly let down by it being a fire element Violet Mizu.
Now I'd like to make it clear that I don't Violet is bad, but I would have taken Thunderbubble over another version of Mizutsune with flaming/explosive bubbles.
Exact same line of thinking
Morudomunto being just the cooler Nergigante.
I honestly think a good way to make flame rathalos more unique is to bring back the poison, and his attacks that already can cause fire to also give blastblight at the same time, maybe some other attacks could as well.
Honestly, I'd believe that Eo Garudia is moving the wind it controls TOWARDS the ground so hard that it is causing an earthquake and uprooting the ruins.
Morudumnto is something I never knew existed but now knowing of it
I NEED THIS MONSTER IN MAINLINE. WHAT A F-ING METAL DESIGN.
It’s sick as fuck man
46:02 look at this fanart
Honestly. Would be real cool to see nef garmat in wilds would fit in the places we see in the trailer of wilds
Explosive Peak Duramblros should shoot fireballs or meteors or whatever out of its back and then use a tail swipe to bat them at the player. The helicopter sttack should have fireballs spewing from it that get picked up on the tail in the spin, and when it drops down it causes an explosion centred on the tail that flicks the tail back up so that overeager players get caught by the tail slamming back down again. The Exhausted move variation would still have it stop, and topples would still work, but they would also have tail explosions into much lesser slaps. And when it gets up off of a topple it should fire off the peak to help it get up.
That’s a sick as fuck idea
Nef-Garmat's design would also be a good excuse to bring back Atahl-Ka from GU
that fucking FMA diablos
It's fuckin hilarious man
Thunder Emperor Kirin lore idea: A Kirin that kills a Rajang to take the stolen power back and harnesses the collectove power of its dozens of slain kin
That’s fuckin tough, dude!
Another good excuse for Whitewater Plesioth could be that it produces a special slime/mucus to protect itself from harsh sun. The mucus is what produces the bubbles, and the soapy mist that covers Whitewater is the mucus evaporating.
I personally think that they should add the new monsters from Explore to the mainline series and rework Thunderbubble Mizutsune into a subspecies. Great Apypos would probably need a visual rework so that he doesn't just look like a slightly modified Great Wroggi.
Most of these could potentially fit
Pretty fun that Brachy got a NGE crossover condisering his base form is already inspired by this same exact mech
Great video as always! I also really hope we see some of Explore's OG monsters in a mainline game, any of them would do it for me.
Question about Immortal Zinogre though, I thought I had heard that instead of symbiosis with Fulgur Bugs it had a symbiosis with God Bugs? I thought it was the whole God Bugs are biologically immortal, so they have good medicinal properties for crafting healing items, but apply it to a Zinogre instead? I am probably completely wrong and just heard some fan theory about him.
I did not see that definitively so I didn't wanna pass that off as a fact and defaulted to thunderbugs
Hey mom, i'm on tv.
That’s new years mochi on his head.
*YES LET’S GO!*
WOOOO
I have been waiting for this, I wish I could've played this game
Hope it gets fan revived
A video I was waiting for, very cool, but aren't you going to make a video about the monsters in the Stories games ?, because it would be a relatively short video with only 6 new EX variants of old monsters 1 non-EX variation of Arzuros, 3 new Elder Dragons and 1 new monster in the unknown category. My favorites are Oltura, Versa Pietru and Kurenai Goukami
Not yet ready to confirm or deny
man i love nef garmat so much, i really want him to come to mainline games. Him and baruragaru specifically are my top 2 i want to see before any other
Great top 2!
Capcom probably used Great Apypos as an inspiration for the characters in "Exo-Primal". A large army of small dinosaurs fighting 4-16 hunters, and lead by a single, bigger theropod dinosaur
Its always funny looking back at Explore and Nef-Garmat cuz World really took his whole flow bar for bar and used it to make the lore about bio energy, stream stones, Xeno/Safi (bio energy draining) and Shara (Terra forming) but almost no one noticed cuz Explore was even more niche than Frontier at the time.
Seeing just how much World took from side games and the "portable" team is always interesting seeing as after Worlds release a chunk of the fanbase started looking down on non numbered titles.
Yeah its kinda funny to see the teams that get made outta different facets of Monster Hunter and the little snipes they take at one another when the reality is that Monster Hunter is way more fluid and self-inspiring and not two teams whatsoever lmao
Imagine what level of Rajang can rip the horn off of Gold Kirin and eats it like rock candy
46:01 Is... Is he carrying a _Nergigante_ in this artwork??? Holy _sh*t_ that's so metal.
standing over a dead Nerg and Deviljho
The sheer amount of Uragaans sure didn’t disappoint.
Someone at Capcom fuckin LOVES Uragaan
I'm still curious to see what your friend's first impression of the Frontier, Online and Explore monsters will be
The edit of the Frontier kneejerk is coming soon, Gonna try and get it out before the end of the month
Love these types of videos. Do you think you'd ever do one on all the different behemoths in Dauntless or the kemono in Wild Hearts? Would be cool to hear you hype those monsters up the way you do the others lmao
Not impossible but not high on up on the list
Just imagine doing the Rise wall run on Nef Garmat's pillars while they are being thrown at you
omg the uragaan is FABULOUS so sparkly, he has never slayed so hard
It legit looks good on him
That would not make sense in anyway in an ecosystem but by Fatalis The Black Crown Dragon goes extremely hard with the wing jaws dayum
I want him in mainline game because that's a Monster. The way it claws at itself is gave me goosebumps, I don't think any animals self-harm like that.
They can add him as easter egg ??? Event quest maybe, no lore, just pure combat solely for enjoying him in a modern engine.
1:12:28 (about) Fierce water Nargacuga could be an amphibious ambush predator. Using his blue color to hide in water and then jump things near the shore. It would explain his longer wind up with faster movement; he winds up under the water and the bolts out of the water to hit something.
If they take this angle, he should loose some of his fur (or at least make it more hydro dynamic) so he looks like he belongs in the shallows.
I really want Eo Garudia to return, and also with that life aspect, too. I want to fight it in some oasis or glade, where life is beginning to return to a sandy, rocky environment. Maybe some rocky pyramid structure. I see rock lined with moss a lot and some flowers, and clear, deep blue, cloudless skies with the bright, shining sun. Have thought of a way it could be a life-bringer too, that its hot jetstreams push around clouds and break the tension that holds them together, causing cloudbursts. Which does also lead into the reason to hunt it, because if it's bursting clouds with fire, then that's going to be scalding hot rain, and probably intense flooding too. Could also tie it in somewhere with the notion of forest fires, those are in some regions essential to the local flora, the regional plants rely on them for fertilisation, or to disperse their pollen, this is also why burning fungal-blighted trees is a terrible idea. Maybe the hot winds also blow around the soil that it burns the plants down into, so it can seed new areas and fertilise them. Nef Garmat already knocked everything down and covered it in sand, the hot winds are here to pick it back up, burn it, then put it back in dome other dirt, watered and fertilised.
Hell yeah man, I’d love to learn more about these two
The purple orb agnaktor eat could be a purple magna orb for future games 😂 he just goes underground, finds one and thats how he gets the purple fire and blast blight
It'd be a retcon but its doable
I love Morudomunto. I love his hellish, almost undead design. I love his attacks. I love the body horror that is inherent to him in his entirety. I love his theme. It's almost like something out of Bloodborne. Unfortunately, I've never played Explore so I was never able to fight him. He is easily one of if not the most heavy metal monster in all of Monster Hunter. I have hope that he'll be introduced to the mainline series. If Frontier monsters like Espinas can be brought in, why not monsters from Online or Explore?
Yeah man, he’s too cool to abandon
For Fiercewater, I'd ditch the tubes and the whole 'stores water inside it's body' idea. It doesn't need to be faster either, so no water jets.
Instead, it's wing blades and tail spikes have curved, almost cup-like, grooves that catch the water as it moves through streams and shallows. It then flicks it's tail or wings in a whipcrack-like motion to fling out water blades.
My explanation is the idea that a Nargacuga with a warped/damaged tail figured out how to flick water into it's prey's/rival predator's eyes, giving it an advantage over rival Nargacuga come mating season, as they couldn't duplicate the trick as effectively even if they figured it out themselves.
Over time it figured out that it's tail shape helped, and it would then gnaw on it's wing blades, and on it's offsprings' tails and wing blades, to give them the right shape.
Over many generations it's offspring evolved their tails and wing blades to naturally have the right shape, and then further improve on that shape to better catch the water and improve on this trick, until they could make actual water blades instead of merely blinding water splashes.
It's a little anime, I admit, but it's easier to explain than a Nargacuga somehow evolving water tubes and enough internally modified biology to store said water!
As an addition, to compensate for the lack of water jet acceleration, when they tail slam, the grooves in their tail spikes release the cupped water in a blinding splash of mist, so you can't see the second tail slam coming!
Hey good video
Why thank you!
this game is pure unserious creativity with these variants and i love it to death
we NEED to see watermelon uragaan in wilds dude they cant let this die out 💔💔
I really love the goofy personality of this game
So I have a theory on how Eo Garudia revives desert land. Eo Garudia's crystals might actually be crystalized dragon energy, based of its vivid red color. We know that an over abundance of dragon energy can cause a berserk like state, as seen in Crimson Glow Valstrax. Perhaps, it is attracted to areas that its counterpart Nef Garmat has turned into desert, because they serve as the perfect dumping ground for its dragon energy build up. It crystalizes its dragon energy, before using its powerful winds to essentially drop the crystals off, which give the land the energy it needs to revive itself.
Dragon element after all is a little weird, being the power that fuels Elder Dragons and some monsters and even plant life(Dragonfell Berries). It might be possible that the Dragon element and the Bio Energy in Monster Hunter World might be one in the same, perhaps different forms of the same energy, as by our current laws of physics, energy can only be transformed, neither created nor destroyed. Even Nef Garmat's crystals resemble the bright blue glow of Bio Energy.
A bit of a side bit though, Eo Garudia and Nef Garmat might also be based of Horus and Set. The two are counterparts to each other. Horus is the God that brings fertile land, Set is the one who brings the desert. Horus would even become Ra's successor in Egyptian myth as well.
Morudomuto looks so much like Gods Eater's Dyaus Pita
Purgatory agnaktor has potential to be a cool rare species of the fire leviathan, I hope to see him in the main series 🤗
Potential is definitely there
and now the exotic Monster of series has concluded where will Connor go from here?
The weapons from the outside mainlines?
maybe venture himself into other monster hunter likes and do a video on his monsters like the aragami from god eater or the traumatizing Archfiend from Soul Sacrifice?
the future is unclear and vast.
Im excited for anything youll explore from here
(hahha get it explore.... like monster hunter explore :P )
I get it!
You know since you mentioned Explosive Peak Duramboros being a variant of a subspecies it is possible Landconquest Lagiacrus could work as a variant of Ivory Lagiacrus... maybe, I don't know man there's so many different types of variations in Monster Hunter outside of the main series. Also I feel like Virulent Gigginox's coloration doesn't feel as bad if you accept it as being aposematic coloration like that of a poison dart frog.
Yeah I saw some people comparing it to a frog, which makes sense, but in the Tundra it looked so fuckin weird to me
I’ve been dreaming of a Kirin that can actually teleport since the 4u intro and had no idea it already existed. Neat! Now that Malzeno exists I fully expect a teleporting unicorn of some sort in Wilds.
Yeah I’d be down to see this move set brought in
Black Star Beast Volvidon is unfortunately *not* using water element, as cool of an idea it is. Those water pillars are the Insect Glaives skill. The kinsect used by the player also has a blue-watery effect. On the fight footage for Immortal Zinogre you can see another Insect Glaive user using the same skill, this time with earth element, and it creates rock pillars in similar fashion.
Wish you showed the armor sets at the end
I remember about hearing about Explore and waiting for it getting a western release. I really wish I could have experienced it, but I think it will probably be truly dead and gone forever. Apparently Abyssal Lagiacrus was in Explore and I wish I could have seen how underwater combat was handled in that game.
I have heard there is a revival effort underway. No idea if it will be fruitful
Nef garmat is kind of like safi kiva when you think about it.
Moro is kind of like deviljho mixed with gore in terms of lore and behavior. Wouldn’t he be based off of Apophis who has the desire to devour all creation?
Heath recover monster, ain’t that kinda like malzeno, but first thing that comes to mind is the Blood Crystal Wyvern from Ark Survival Evolved. TBH those crystal wyverns from Ark would make great monsters in MH and also the Shadowmane. I dare someone to disagree with that.
Also explosive peak seems to fit gravios more to me.
Shining rock Uragaan, the uragaan subspecies idea we need.
“Plesioth with a few cool colored subspecies, then there’s that guy” white water would look better if he had the colors or like a salmon or trout
Dorudomunto ...is what inspired capcon to create vaalhazak
I used to play this game long long time ago
How was it firsthand?
Like to think Frozen Barioth is purple because it has undergone a unique frost-bite, hence it also causing poison (you’re dying from frostbite necrosis)
I headcanon it as essentially a Frostfang Barioth that primarily hunted Gigginox.
Aight, that makes it sound way cooler
14:06 my favorite theme from the asian exclusive games right here. This theme is a straight banger
Elder theme's in this game are NUTS
Explosive peak Duramboros is just Glavinus that switched from greate sword to hammer.
True
Will you talk about Oltura and the Pietrus?
I really liked the how in case of malzeno it was made so that his neck ornaments made him look like a vampire count but it blended in seamless. This egypian theamed elder dragons could use a bit of that same work on there neck ornaments especialy the one based on RA, aside from that i would love to see them make a comeback togeather with other elder dragons like shantien or the monster hunter stories 2 endgame monster (forgot the name). There so epic and deserve there own mainline fights.
God I would kill to see a Morudomunto model in the new RE engine littered with scars from both other monsters and itself
Fuckin same man
Imagine them putting MHEx monsters in wilds. Also by going with the reference that the other 2 elder dragon have, i think Morudomunto might be a reference to Apophis.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that we see these guys maybe in the expansion
