Ps. : never ever use bow with full gyro on public spaces if you don't wanna get accused of taking picture of other people 😂
Lol this happened to me the second week after I started playing
ehm nice guide but what bow should i focus on you missed that part ....
Always doing it
I've been maining Bow for quite a while now, can't wait for the next guide. Thanks for covering up all the basics! This will help a lot of players❤
Awesome Video. Thanks! I switched to bow during the diablo event cuz I saw your vids and you have prolonged my playtime and not rely on potions too much. I have built up all element bows and having fun. Also, the Rosen bow is awesome and I feel like I’m cheating sometimes. Lol😊
Great video, really looking forward to the Veteran Bow Guide that may be include End-Game Build for Bow
Good Job Bro👍
Thanks for such a thorough video! This was super helpful.
Thank you for the video!! I had no idea you could do the shot after charging or see the weak points on the reticle. I'm going to do so much more damage now. Lol
Oh my goodness. I was completely unaware of the reset aim button. I would just click Full to Semi back to Full to reorient myself 🤣
Nice work mate
Looking forward to the advanced guide
Thank you for explaining how this stuff works better than the game does :)
When you're charging and side stepping, are you having to use two hands to play? One thumb to tap and hold and the other to swipe left/right/up/down?
very good guide
This was really helpful for me. I wanted to master the bow.
Glad it helped! 🙏
How does the charge attack slide work? No idea how to do it.
next pink rath event imma farm the crap outta those...the rosen bow is so good
Love your guides. Super useful! I am hunter lvl 50 but i play super casual (hunt from home or when walking the dog...sometimes). I main the sword and shield but looking for a ranged weapon for a little diversity. Loved you video on bow. What about the light bowgun? It seems more burty but it looks like you have less control of your shots versu the bow charging mechanics. What would be the pros and cons of those weapons versus each other? Many thanks for sharing the wisdom!
Lightbow gun and bow operate similarity but heres the general pros/cons
Bow:
Focus 5 Build takes 4 equipment slots
Far More mobile than LBG
Needs to charge
LBG:
Reload Speed and Recoil down builds dont take all 5 slots. If you get good enough at it you dont need recoil down.
slow mobility
Doesnt need to charge, but must reload
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS where can i learn more about the light gun ammo type effects and the bow charge effect
Considering the data provided from minute 4:18 of the video. What charge level would be necessary to obtain the best damage with Kushala Daora's bow? 3 flashes, or two flashes?
2 flashes!
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS very thanks
Correct me if I’m wrong but: the reason no one talked about the reset aim button is because it was recently added in the last patch.
From the nerf of range weapons in this recent update, is it still viable to try bow as a second main? I want to try another rewarding weapon type aside from long sword which i currently have
For sure it still viable. Black Diablos bow is still the best raw damage weapon in the game despite the nerf!
Quick thing that I didn't catch, For the weapon it self, at the beginning, which one should I focus on? Should I get one for each element and use the one that has the weakness of the monster? Or should I just get one and upgrade that one?
If you want to just focus on one element its definitely the Pukei bow, it can get you far on its own.
However, for event monsters you definitely want to build the elemental weaknesses or high raw damage weapons.
How does poison works? Is it a good element to start with or are you better with the element-less weapons?
The Pukei bow is the best budget bow in the game. You can clear 8/9 stars with it just because poison does passive damage. But it still requires some rng.
Unless you have Black Diablos bow the Pukei bow is the way to go if you don't plan on investing in other elements. just because of how available pukei-pukei is on the map.
Is the reset button available for all or do you need a skill from armor pieces? I saw it on my screen a few times but it doesnt stay like it does on your video example
It will only show if you’re battling a large monster. It won’t show for small monsters unfortunately 😅
Dang it. Doesn't show up when I fight large monsters either 😢
i was an SnS main, but when I got my bow, i never came back >_
Hopefully in the future we get monsters that have good long range attacks to wake up these lazy bow users 🙇
Try spread arrow bow and come here again said it's lazy
It's so much more difficult to charge sidestep in MH Now. Especially since charging a shot takes an hour. If it wasn't so slow to charge I'd enjoy bow a lot more.
Focus 5 helps but also the Charge Lv. 3 bows in Kushala and Black Diablos if you are willing to put the work to get those weapons.
I almost have my Black Diablos bow to Grade 8 but I am horrible with it, I can't get used to it to save my life.
Wish we could move the reset aim button to the left side of the screen.
Thats a good idea! I'm hoping we can too.
Does lock on work on bows?
It doesn't sadly. But you won't want to because you get the best out of it with Full-Aim once you get good enough.
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS I'm learning all the long ranged weapons (gunlance, light bowgun and bow)
So are you makei a vid for LBG
Ok cool mybe you could get niantic attention I use the lbg am I special attack does zero damage it is stressing me out so I want to know if it's the same for you Tia
I thought Charge was complicated. I feel like after watching your video for it I prefer it over bow.
If you mean Charge Blade its definitely more complicated haha. The range nerf to bow changes things now and I can see your point haha.
@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS lol ya I forgot to put the word blade in!
How to get bow. All got is a sword
Bow unlocks when you hit hunter rank 15
