- Hey all, This is a full guide to get you up and running with RPCS3 Emulator. Remember, if you have an underpowered PC/Laptop. You will find games will crash, lag and be unplayable. Remember to check the compatibility list. Lastly. You can find under GPU settings, video settings, where you can try games via Vulkan, OpenGL etc. Please do not ask where to get games, you should own what you play just like in todays setup guide.

You can drag and drop your pkgs/raps/edats right into the emulator screen to install them. I usually do the game first (if it’s a pkg file) then the raps or edats and finally all the updates. It’s a lot quicker than doing them one at a time from the menu bar. Especially considering some games can have 10 or more updates.

Hi. Can you help me on how to remove mouse cursor ingame?
In lightgun games,windowed or fullscreen i get the crosshair and the cursor...
I tried all the cursor settings in emulation tab in config,but with no luck.

There seems to be an issue with using RPCS as a portable emulation system if you set it up on PC that has an NVidia card then try to use it on one that doesn't or that uses onboard graphics RPCS errors and will not launch claiming there is another instance of RPCS3 running. I had this issue and there's nothing about a workaround or fix for it on the RPCS3 help forum. Not great if you want to take your portable hard drive round to your mate's house to play some PS3.

I get this error too when trying to load the game from the batocera game list but the same game works if I hit F1, go to applications, and load the game from RcPS3. Hope this helps

@@JustJamie1983 I think I've solved this issue before you remove the drive go into the RPCS3 emulator and switch off Vulcan. You can switch it back on when plugged into another PC. I think it has to do with the NVIDIA driver hooks RPCS3 still thinks it has an NVIDIA card attached and throws a wobbler.
When I right click on the PS3 game, Boot from save state is not an option? Maybe my keyboard isn't configured properly to save game? It does let me close the game using alt f4...any suggestions?

Low end systems. Keep to the minimum and default settings.
did i miss something? where did you get the updates for little big planet? at 17:00?

Can i have help? when i do this when it brings up the compiling PPU modules it crashes and closes rpc3, i have the new version and followed everything to a T

Update: to anyone who finds this it is on the list but you need a custom extension to use it
