I've had my G29 since 2016 and it still works as good as new. the only problem I've had with it is I'm on my 3rd shifter. The shifters tend to last about 2 years but are easily replaced on amazon
@KenanDShredder the "stick" shifter always has the same issue where it can't tell what gear it's in. For example, my last shifter would always think it's in 3rd gear weather, I put it in 1st 3rd or 5th
Con1 is 10 degrees deadzone in the middle. There is no force feedback near the center. With medium force settings two motors will just ping pong the wheel across the center. Some games try to hide this issue by minimising force settings near the center but in the end you will still likely oversteer. It was my first wheel, and if I knew it earlier I would probably did not bother.
I JUST realized this a couple of weeks ago. It didn’t bother me until I took a break from racing games and came back, and it felt off. Couldn’t put my finger on why.
I've got F1 2018. for free, Epic games or maybe part of some racing humble bundle... FFB in that game with g29 is actually amazing. There's practically no dead zone, it feels firm yet it doesn't clip. I guess it's about the game engine, too.
The size of wheel has to do with its weak FFB (compared to other wheels on market). If you mount on it something bigger, the FFB will feel even weaker because you need less effort to rotate something with bigger radius. I suggest let it as it is.

hi! I also have the logitech g29 and i find it very well i have made several modifications to make it better. for example, i created a quick release system to replace the steering wheel according to needs. it will not be the perfect steering wheel but it is definitely the best entry level.
I'm happy with mine with a VR 2 is one of the Best racing experience everyone should experience at least one time no need for super expensive equipment over 2 years. Still going strong

So far I've wired in an external handbrake "V1" and actually just installed the kit to put my button box in front of my deep dish wheel and have been in contact with the seller from etsy. 5:54 Had a bit of an issue with the 3D printed paddles but he just sent me a new set I'm gonna try em out tomorrow. This is my 2nd one in about a year, first one was used, this one was new, and I'm loving the modability of it. I will say, I do plan on upgrading to the $1400 Logitech Pro direct drive in the future, but for now I plan on modding the hell out of my 923 and keeping it as an extra setup.

I would rather put some object between the wall and the pedals like in the video. May be because we got slippery tiles on our floor, so just my opinion 😂

I’m pretty sure it’s synced, but it might look weird because the wheel is set to turn 900 degrees while in game not nearly as much, so it is kinda funny looking
I don’t mind the wheel but I HATE those dammed pedals, your foot slips off really easily and (I don’t know if this is just mine) the brake pedal feels horrible. But the wheel is decent.
Stiff brake pedal, the throttle isn’t bad, but I’d switch the springs between the clutch and the throttle because the clutch is more stiff than the throttle
I have a question its not about the wheel its about forza how come some people can launch the game without any issues but i cant i have 8GB ram and i try to run game and yes i have checked specs my pc is able to run game on minimum specs can u tell me why my game struggles to open up? like it does open up but it like it stays on black loading screen for 5 yrs do u know wot the problem could be.

If you think this is quality build you should see G27. G29 is a downgrade in quality. And you can see it in pretty much all aspects, including packaging.
I think Logitech is still worth it for gamers who play on consoles. But I think PC gamers would be better off saving a little more money and buying cheaper Fanatech or Moza bundles.
And also im planning on getting the G29 as well this year ive already looked at other youtubers review ive heard it is pretty good im only wanting the steering wheel with pedals only im not planning on using the gear shifter but thats good anyway bc its apparently separated im gonna use the G29 for PC and ps5

Not sure about the compatibility with w11, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. You can definitely program different buttons to different functions in all of the games i’ve played so far. It is very easy to set up on pc, but you will want to look up a “best settings” video for each game that you play so that it feels good and it’s fine-tuned for what you want. Hope this helps!

If you have a dead zone you need to plug your wheel into a PC with GHUB and it will take out the dead zone

There are mods to soften it. I haven’t had any issue with mine, and I have it pushed up against the wall under my desk. Hope this helps

I agree with the brake pedal, I tried modding mine by cutting down on the rubber stopper but it didn’t change much at all.
