Valuable info. They say that Type 2 diabetes is related to Obesity directly. I don't know how far this is true but I do know people in shape with diabetes.

Dr. Malik...since this video is about weight loss may I ask you about frequent nightly urination? In the last 18 months or so I lost about 65 pounds. Then I was fully overweight I did urinate during the day, but ALWAYS did 2, sometimes 3 times a night (like at 1am and like 4am usually). However I always had a Full Bladder, had a Strong Stream (no Waiting, Dribbling or Weak Stream). Now that I'm 65 pounds less I only urinate ONCE in the early morning at about 6am now. So I guess I'm asking...did just being overweight that much create the classic symptoms of possible prostate issues?? Was my added fat just like a Sponge that "released' after I went to bed? Please comment. BTW..You're awesome!!.

Thank you! Being overweight can contribute to overactive bladder symptoms which include getting up at night!

@@RenaMalikMD Thank You Dr. M!! You may want to mention that to some patients who may be getting up a lot at night and worry that it's a Prostate issue than rather an Overweight! Might save them that "Finger Probe" exam as well! LOL! Funny thing about the Prostate Exam....you NEVER SEE it coming, but you KNOW WHEN it's HAPPENING!!....LOL! Happy Holidays to You and your Family!!

@@RenaMalikMD I’m not overweight well I’m muscled up at 210 @ 5’10 and I know I’m heavy for my “standard height” so would that be an issue also? Bcz I’m up 2-3 times a night as well.
