    They charge over $300 and decided to cheap out and not include the steam supply in the hand tool? Whatever idiot thought of that needs fired. The value behind the machine for that price would be steam floor clean and steam spot clean 2 in 1... FAIL

    Thanks a million. This was one of the best reviews I've seen. Everyone just shows the wonderful cleaning power but the cleaning up and the other details are lacking in other reviews so thanks. Do you know where I can purchase an extra belt and roller. I want to have some back ups just in case. I bought this vacuum and it's wonderful. Just a warning though if you don't like heavy vacuum cleaners this is definitely not for you especially a female. It's pretty heavy and you feel it as a female when vacuuming with this

    I made the mistake of inserting the handle in its top receiver BEFORE the receiver was installed on the body of the machine. I had to remove four screws in the upper receiver, in order to release the handle to pull it out of the receiver. The handle MUST be installed in the upper receiver AFTER the receive is first installed in the body of the machine!

      You can stick a pencil through where you wrap the cord at the top and push in to unlock the handle

      He went the hard way😁. Also majority of people ignore the user manual for what ever reason whether they think there is nothing complicated and can figure it out or just don’t have time for reading or both. I repair appliances everyday for work and I see problems that could have easily be prevented if people just read the manual first:))

    I had a Bissell cleaner for 10 years finally the small internal hose broke and I could not find how to get to it. I bought this one today and can see how much Bissell has improved their product. I hope I can get 10 years out of this new one. You have included much more than anyone else about how to use this machine. Thanks so much.

I have the portable Shark px201 and debated whether or not to get a Shark upright to target larger areas - the steam on this one is a game changer! I’m glad I didn’t the Shark upright! • @keepithd2010
    @keepithd2010 Год назад +3

    Like I told you I am a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner and what you want to do on upholstery is to spray the whole entire seat of the chair and make your way from the back of the chair to the front of the chair and then you make your next pass a little bit over and continue to go from the back of the chair to the front of the chair and keep on doing that until you get all the way to the left of the the seat of the chair or which ever side you start from but you always want to start from the top of the chair to the bottom of the chair unless of course the back of the chair that your back is laying on and go from the top of the chair all the way to the bottom of the seat and you that all the way down the chair and then at the bottom you want to make a cross pass so you get all of the water sucked awa. If you have a seat cushion that is able to be removed make sure you remove it before you start going down the chair to clean it. Then you want to spray the solution on the arms of the chair and you want togo from the side of the chair all the way down to where the cushion is you don't want to go straight across to the front of the chair you always want to go across the arm of the chai and never go from the back of the arm to the front of the arm you always want to go from the side of the arm down to the bottom where the seat cushion is or you might ruin your fabric and then you want to go to the bottom of the arm of your chair where it meets the seating position and go across to the front of the chair to get all the excess water that has drip down to the seat cushion, if the seat cushion cannot be removed then just go as far down as you can to where the water has dripped and go all the way to the front of the arm. The other thing you'll also want to look for is what type of material it is because if it is floral it's a possibility it could bleed and if it is Asian cotton you have to clean it a certain way and use a certain solution otherwise you will get all the cotton seeds showing and you will have all black dots on the material and it's almost impossible to get them to go away, there is a lot to know about cleaning upholstery it is not like cleaning carpet unless you are cleaning certain types of Asian rugs and you have to use a different method you cannot use water, it is a lending curve that you won't have to live with when you make a mistake and clean certain materials the wrong way and end up ruining them. Most carpet you can clean just about any way you want you just have to make sure that you get all of the cleaning solution rinsed or you are going to attract it faster as soap attracts dirt very best this is why you cannot clean carpets with cleaning solution you need to rinse out the clean water with the detergent in it and rinse the carpet with just water to get up all the soap.

      Idk If I'd buy this for oil and grease.. I have the pro heat X2, it is this machine minus the "steam" and while it works very well for dirt and kids spills, I'm not sure it would help for oil or grease. I'd look into something more commercial like the rug doctor or bissell green machine, or get a real steam machine because I feel like the steam on this is more of a gimmick then real steam. I'd like to know how you like it..

      @BISSELLAustraliaNZ
      8 hours ago (edited)
      Hi there, thanks for your query. Distilled water is recommended in the User Guide, but the system is designed to work with regular tap water. There is an oversized catch area within the water valve to collect mineral deposits in order to maintain product performance over its lifespan. Scaling problems are not anticipated internally due to the use of stainless-steel extrusion heaters, which contain larger and smoother heating tubes than previous steam technology - combined with the use of our cleaning solutions, which is also unique to this system compared to previous steam products. If in the unlikely event that scaling occurs, the concern would be around the port openings where the steam is omitted. To prevent this we recommend in the User Guide to wipe clean the steam ports regularly.

      I use RO water. Lime scale is never an issue. Boiling only RO water in a kettle which is 6 years old still looks like new and the element is clear and shiny. Lime scale isn’t only an issue in heated appliances but also in your blood vessels. I haven’t been drinking tap water for 10 years now.

    • @One-Day-After-Another
      @One-Day-After-Another 11 месяцев назад

      @@RUS38 funny you mention that. I have a water distiller and if I use tap water the final distilled water isn't 0 ppm... more like 14... and the distiller is nasty at the end...but if I use RO water in the distiller... it starts off at 2ppm and the distiller was totally clean. I'm wondering if I could just skip distilling and use RO water for humidifiers, irons, anything...

    First, the Bissell instructional video shows the steam setting used in a set position, not run back,and forth, to loosen a stain - not the entire space being cleaned. Also, when using the steam clean max setting, the vacuum is moved back and forth a bit slower than this demonstration indicates.

    I am muffin fessional carpet cleaner and all of you guys doing you reviews you do not put any anti-foaming powder in your dirty water and if you do it will continue to suck all the way through and that is a very big tank and you are I'm wasting a lot of time because you should be able to fill that tank without it losing suction if you do not have any suds and the only way you are going to get rid of the suds is by putting anti-foaming powder.

    • @keepithd2010
      @keepithd2010 8 месяцев назад

      @@swissmaid if that is true then there is not enough anti foaming in dirt because if you put too much soap down when you're cleaning your carpets your carpet cleaner will stop sucking because it has no fluid. Also if that's the case why do they have a product for anti-foaming. If you have a carpet cleaner try it yourself and you will see if you use a little bit more cleaner the suds will pile up and your vacuum will stop.

      Sells for $999.00 in Australia! Obviously they won't find many buyers at this ptice!
      But I have already seen it t for #789.00 with free postage. Even this is too high for an appliance that no doubt will wear out quickly. How often would you steam clean your carpets per year? 2 times? 3 times, 4? At the very most, unless you have an accident and then it would be a spot clean only.
      Unlike the vacuum, that may be used daily. So $999.00 is a ridiculous price! $789.00 still too much!
