My husband always does the carpet cleaning and I decided to try it today.. I know this wasn’t a “how to use” video but it was very informative video! I love my Pet Pro. Got the job done. Thank you!
I’ve just brought one of these and I am so impressed I’ve owner a lot of carpet cleaners over the years and this is by far best Love how easy it is to clean the brush bar and the nozzle The brush and nozzle cleaner (plastic is amazing gets all the dog hairs out of the suck up nozzle ) The power is amazing the Love the pet nozzle for the hose so much more hygienic with the plastic Bristles The stain function thought would be a gimmick but it’s actually really useful Also it doesn’t leave clumps of dog hair on the carpet like my old bissel
Scrap the cleaner with hydrogen just buy a cheap bottle of hydrogen peroxide your self, also most carpet cleaners are crap ammonia is the way the go! Search how to clean carpets on youtube youll find a guy that breaks down what chemicals to use and why based on chemistry hes awesome!!
@@JustADad I did use it on a wool rug, wow the sand and dog hair that came out was incredible. I rinsed twice. two days later I ran my Dyson over it, a lot of clean sand and a few more dog hairs came up. Rug looks like new again. Thanks for your vids helped a lot
Great video ! I just want to know what does that turn knob thing at the back bottom area do??? There is nothing on the instructions mentioning this bit. Does anyone know ? It’s at the back down the bottom ?
I've been trying to find this out. On the dry/wet upholstery tool... on my machine the water solution comes out of the tool in one single stream. Is this normal?
I have no pet. I'm just looking for a machine for my new 3 bed apartment that has a low pile carpet on the bedrooms upstairs. Do you need to vacuum first, or this machine does it all? I'm planing to use the quick pass every two weeks... I want to buy just one machine and make a single pass. thanks
You need to vacuum first with a regular vacuum cleaner. This machine can only suck up dirty water, if the carpet is full of fur/crumbs and stuff, it will clog up fast
So I just got the Pet version of this on facebook marketplace, and it is missing the top piece above the brushes at the bottom. I went to use it and all it did was spill water solution all over my carpet and it didn’t suck anything up. Any suggestions on what to do? This literally just happened to me as I am typing this, quick feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
A little trick I do when i do a 2nd pass to rinse with just water, is i press down on the whole thing with my foot to add extra pressure on the carpet, and it pulls out a little more water.
@@lander77477 And some have put something weighted on the top of the front to apply mi ore down pressure. I'm thinking about doing that, using velcro and whatever works best.
The main unit (the big vacuum cleaner) is designed for deep cleaning and wet spills. The hose attachment with the filter cup and switch is for both wet and dry (depending on switch), but very small dry capacity and smaller suction area.
This is the worst carpet shampooer I've ever purchased. It is awkward to lift over stairs or other low obstacle. It takes forever to dry no matter how many times you go over a spot. The dirty tank is full at half capacity and is awkward to empty. And when you are finished and don't have the stand it leaks out of the bottom so I place it on a towel. The solution tank is user friendly though and the cord is long enough.
That's the point. How else to show capabilities?! If you didn't, someone would complain that it's an unfair demo because their carpet is a lighter color.
this one here is 269 dollars before taxes . I sure don't want to spend that much for 2 throw rugs . The rugs are just to keep my vchihuas feet when running on the vinyl plank flooring from slipping and sliding and to keep thier feet warmer come winter both rugs are 12x12 Which one of the line would be god for just throw carpets . We are retired and n a budget but I want one that will clean the carpets and not let them soaking wet . It is just my hubby and I and 3 chihuahuas

Curious how many times you need to empty the dirty water in a typical say 15 X 17 living room.
Just bought one today in Australia. AUD $558. cheapest i could get it. Im just about to unbox and give it a go
Nice find, hope you like it!

Wow impressive cleaning, but frankly that sprayer on the vorner looks like hype up sell..is the model below this one as good?
Ok I just ordered one at BBuy . 239 plus tax . Thank you , sub 4 life now

That is the bottom hook for when you wrap the power cord up 😆

Hi. Can this be used on hardwood or vinyl floors? Thanks

Great video! I just got my unit. Do you go both x and y directions?
If necessary, sure.
This is a great video. The instructions it came with were not great!
Did you know that there is a self cleaning tray? I just found out. Mine didn’t come with it.
Yeah i've heard of that, but i just take the thing apart and rinse everything in the sink
It's only certain models, I think, the one at costco. Otherwise you need to buy it separately
Excellent 😅
Good one
How come mine doesn’t have those buttons to remove the clear piece?
You probably have the older model #1986, where the two clear parts on the front come off separately.

Contact seller, or buy replacement cover on Bissell's website.
Question, how well did it dry the carpet?
just ok about like rest
The carpet will be saturated and take about 2 hours to overnight before it dries completely.

Can we do regular vacuuming with this or this is only for deep cleaning?

I just don't understand the idea of not putting some dirt when you used that attachments to see how it's effective
The #1 question that no one reviews is the drying time
2 hours on max 30 minutes on express

HATE HATE HATE THIS-
1st time was great- 2nd time the plastic front kept popping off constantly- wouldn't suck up the water!!
DO NOT BUY!!
you picked the worse carpet to ever show dirt on even if it's clean

by the way the reason I thought bissel was because every dog I have owned over 51 years of marriege have been rescues including my 3 chihuahuas
I would try Ollie’s. I my local store sells these machines for $100.
Just buy low cost rugs and hose them off outside. Let them sun dry disinfect if you can.
It’s 190 now lol
There's small ones too. Only for spot cleaning get one and you can clean your car too. Handheld and upright like this.
