There are 3 cases: 1) female guppies giving birth for the first time will have very few fry 2) Female guppies will eat their babies, that's their behavior 3) Maybe the pregnancy process is not good so the remaining eggs are not fertilized

i got my first guppies in their own tank, but turned out one of the females was very heavily in late pregnancy and i put some small holes into a container and hooked it to the side in the tank so the fish wouldnt stress her, and then i get up for water at was is now 2 am and on passing the tank i found she had ALREADY birthed her fry, seems i have everything i needed already and they should do well- but wheres that recipe you talked about? i like my fish to thrive rather than just survive even if im only a hobbyist

My male and female guppies bred just yesterday and had babies. I had Fighter as the male, the most ferocious fish.

You should separate them from the brood, remember to keep the water of the baby guppy aquarium always clean

We guess there is a problem with the water at the bottom of your aquarium, please clean and change the water before it is too late.
