So...when I do a water change on my 55 gal community tank, I save the water in lidded buckets for watering my houseplants. I do a water change once a week at the same time checking to see if any of my plants need water. Imagine my surprise to open the first bucket, that I keep under the kitchen sink, and see movement in the bucket. Yup, about 20 guppy fry. I moved them to an established tank after scooping out the lone angel fish that bullys the other fish. Fingers crossed that the babies survive❤
@@GuppyChannel when i was raising my guppy fry only 5 of them made it out of a batch of fourteen. I'm honestly wondering how I can prevent that from happening again because I felt so bad that they died. I think it was because of over population I actually wasn't expecting guppy fry, and i only had a 10 gal I wasn't prepared at all any tips? I have a 10 gallon and a 5 because I want to be more prepared to separate the parents from the baby's
Sorry for the delayed reply, please equip a sponge filter + air pump, in the first 3 weeks you should work hard to change 15% of the water every day, remove the dirt at the bottom of the tank, it is the best, easiest way to breed guppies

you should add a fry filter to the top of the tube to avoid sucking them in, luckily your baby guppies are still alive

To test this put three females in tank by them selves . In six months you will see the transformation .

My guppy fry have 2 months actually but they still w the same size that 30 days
It may be a sign of breed degeneration, you should look for a source of guppies of new breeds

Some people had serious problems with only males, they can become sexually frustrated and agressive.
To protect species the female can change to become a male or visa versa .
We've bred over 1 billion guppies over the years and we've never seen that
