Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2995 is contained onsite at Area-███ and housed in a climate-controlled vault, which has been constructed around the anomaly. This vault is insulated against seismic activity and safeguarded by three (3) reinforced steel doors. Access to the vault is forbidden barring emergency maintenance. During these situations, only one (1) Clearance 3/2995 engineer may enter the vault, and they are to be equipped with a security collar, which must be activated for any breach of protocol.

Good god man this thing is so well written, with correct physics to being almost emotional. I want to give the damn thing a hug to quell it’s rage and show it compassion.
Whoever wrote this entry really knows their physics. While it certainly isn't the scariest SCP ever it's definitely one of the most impressive.

Honestly, in trying to type out my thoughts in response on this one, I don't know that there is a greater implication of the story, not one I can figure out. The number of Brothers, the fact that the beings in question apparently turn cold when they die, yet we still have a sun. It says his Father's light and was spent in his fury and sorrow, which kind of implies death. Also, I don't know what two celestial bodies have to combine to create a strange matter star about 1 foot across, but our sun doesn't strike me as a candidate.
From which mythology was that?

That's not how their "mind's" work, I'd argue they aren't even really sentient like how we would think a human or many other animal's are. They exist due to some fundamental law of the SCP universe, and they obey the laws of their own existence despite having the power to do literally anything.
I really like the SCP story using the Sino-Japanese war to explain issues with containment, and the SCP in general. One thing though that detracts from this is that people didn’t curse that way in the 1930’s. It wasn’t until the 1970’s that ‘f*ck, f*cking, and f*cker’ started being used colloquially, that being due to some comedians (Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy come to mind) using it as a kind of shock-comedy.
I swear, it must be fifth miniature astronomical object, ready to cause end of the world in Foundation's control.

I think what really makes this SCP so good is the clash between science and religion. Hard facts and mystical origins. It’s contrast is done so well and brings out a really powerful effect. Kinda reminds me of the Indiana Jones films. Science vs Mysticism. Law vs faith. Man vs God.
Maybe they could use this against the hateful star. Or would that just make things worse?

These videos are great. SCP entries are a guilty pleasure. They scratch that itch for fantastical fiction. My only complaint is that there seem to be so many SCPs that are the equivalent of pre-lingual cavemen trying to understand and/or contain intelligent anti-matter devices.

You probably know this by now, but unfortunately the words minute, as well as minute, are what's known as a heteronyms. Two words that are spelled exactly the same, but pronounced differently, as well as two different meanings. In this case, the pronunciation would be "my-noot" instead of the time related definition and pronunciation of "min-ut".
In this case, minute means very small, tiny, or insignificant.
Idk why but I really like when he reads journals from guards or scientists it just makes it seem more realistic.
Question: SCP-2995 appears to have unlimited energy. SCP-2995 has been active since 1933, thats more then 70 years of activity and thats after its discovery. Who knows how long its been buring hidden away in china's crust.
Suggestion: could it be possible to use SCP-2995 as an unlimited power source for SCP-399? Since the object requires large amounts of energy when in use. Perhaps the ring could be tasked to reconstruct the container of SCP-2995, using its reality bending abilities, while at the same time absorbing the energy with in the sphere.
jabari love It'd be too dangerous to risk the containment breach of this SCP, even if it could mean unlimited power. Even if The Foundation managed to do it, the rest of the world wouldn't be able to use it, as it would mean exposing the SCP.

The end of this SCP, means that it is sentient. Could it be reasoned with, could an explanation be offered as to why it’s been hidden away? Maybe it could understand necessity.
I havnt looked much into this whole lgbt scp controversy but it sounds like a classic case of both sides are wrong. If even SEEING anything lgbt offends you, grow up snowflake, lgbt have to see "straight" content 24/7, and being lgbt is only political because insecure people / bigots make them political by trying to impose a religion they dont follow onto them through law intended to be seperate from religion.

A few problems with your story. In 1937 in China scarcely anywhere outside of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing would have electricity much less ‘monitoring systems’. Also during this time very few people would use profanity, much less an educated sight manager.
