Nice having the pre-made cables. I juiced up my RadCity5 with an extra 24A battery, and it's been amazing. I'm hitting almost 37 miles at a steady 25 mph on full throttle. Really hoping Rad offers an extended range stock battery someday.
So I just did this with the 10 amp hour battery with the 40 amp battery monitor on my plus 6 with the 35 amp aftermarket controller and it works great. I haven't ridden it much but once you throw the 35 amp controller on there I don't care who you are You're going to be pulling a little more power than you had been with the 20 amp. So I'm thinking I'm going to get about 40 mi a charge but we'll see.
Im curios what is the largest battery config you could get for this setup, and can the stock battery be removed with the battery case strapped onto the bike frame? Thanks.
I bought i rad 6 plus from an auction house "Troostwijk" in the netherlands (holland).i pay 30 euro but its without battery and i cant find someone in my area with a 6 plus to test the bike with a battery .so what can i do?how can i test the bike to know if its worth it to buy a new battery ?
I have a bad battery on my rad rover 6 its actually the second one sent out by them… im wondering if it would be cheaper to run another battery this way
fantastic video!! thank you for that. my question is can I choose 48V 20Ah battery from the link that you've provided for my radrover 6 plus as well? not sure if it's suitable for my bike in terms of size and vol etc.

You can have any amp hour combination you want. Just make sure you know how you will mount and store it.
Yes the factory battery can be removed

Does the stock display show the combined charge level of both batteries?
If both are fully charged before use, yes it does
Use Dielectric grease on the connections to provide protection
How does charging work? Can you charge from just the stock battery? Also do the discharge together?
no you manually charge both individuality

It should work even if you only have 1 hooked up.
will this kit adapter work for my RadRover 5 also?
I'm curious what kind of affect this has with the stock battery level indicator.
If both batteries charged to full, the level meter reads both batteries as 1 (voltage meter)
@@ElectricAllWheel Excellent. Thank you! I just ordered the parts from your site.. Now to decide how big I wanna go with the new battery.
