Marlin, tonight I’m made the Potato and kidney bean curry. It was fabulous!! I used potatoes and spinach from our CSA = Community Supported Agricultural in the USA. We pre-purchased a CSA every year from a local farmer. It is 30 weeks of fresh produce from their farm. It is $900 US dollars for 30 weeks. I drive every week to the farm and pick up our weekly veggies….about 20 minute drive one way from our home. $30 per week may sound like a lot but since our diet is mostly plant based I’m ok with the cost plus we support a local farm family. To the Potato & Kidney curry, we made homemade Samoas (cauliflower and peas), rice and coriander chutney…just cause we had all the ingredients on hand. 🙏
Thank you for your recipes and it is an excellent concept of videos. I would like more of that type... Thank you. More so now that monetary inflation is rising. I will make the three recipes during the course of the week. Cheers
Before any of your videos start I have already pushed the thumbs up button! hehe. Also, I use them as moment for myself, to relax and enjoy the beautiful content💛
Yummy 😋 budget meals Malin and remember the energy costs of cooking. I am going to use my slow cooker more and use a airfryer for anything that is required to be put in the oven. A microwave is also more energy efficient for reheating/cooking. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤️ Malin & Rob.
For me it would be easier to mix pancake batter first and then add vegetables in but is important to cover vegetables with dry flour first like with raisins in cake?
There are actually a number of vitamins and minerals wheat is higher in than chickpeas like zinc, selinium and iron. So switching to chickpeas would not make it more nutritionally dense.
Love that there are no coconut products in your curry. Looks grand. I'll definitely try this with no oil. Using vegi broth, to saute the seeds works well. Thanks for the recipe..... oh, and that soup looks dynamite. Must try. I will serve it with some left over brown rice. Left over because it opens, and curls... so good in bean soup. I can hardly wait.
Malin, each time I open one of your videos, I'm amazed at how incredibly kind you seem, and I also love how you edit your videos. Congratulations on your amazing channel! ❤
I’m always so happy to see you and watch your calm and lovely videos. I love a tasty, affordable meal/recipe. Thank you!

I know coconut is a personal taste thing, but why don’t you use oil?
Thanks Malin! For the curry, could you just add the potatoes in raw too?
