My life and me as a person would be different without them
I have no friends or significant other. I feel very low in life and hardly feel like staying alive. Coheed is one of the things in this world that helps me, if you're reading this you aren't alone out there
I thought I had friends and they were nowhere to be found when I needed them. My significant other was moved to another state where we were supposed to work together and begin again because the current state I live in has been been cause for a whole set of encyclopedias worth of trauma. I got her there, and she basically left me here. She has loving family here. This state has never caused her any trauma. She's just a cunt. I'll gladly be your friend because I don't want to be friends with people that think they are something more than they are. I know what and who I am, if you do too, hit me up. How this song relates to the lore of Armory Wars:
This song is about Ambellina, a willing outcast from the Prise, and group of "angels" - blue women-like creatures with wings that guard the Keywork. She has literally had her wings burned off to make her more human. She has had little to no communication with the outside world outside from following Claudio and keeping him safe. Claudio has been hiding in a city on the world of Godder Damm for the past decade or so. Hence, Ambellina severed her ties to shroud Claudio under the streets of "this city."
The first half of the song is from Ambellina's point of view, ending with the line "I've parted three ways."
The second half of the song is Claudio coming to grips with fact that he is "The Crowing," a sort of savior that is supposed to rise up and save the Keywork from Wilhelm Ryan, the main antagonist of the series.
She's some kind of raziel cortana?

He pretty strongly dislikes songs that are pretty specifically about Nikki Owens, like Crossing the Frame, pretty sure he actively refuses to play them. Newo is named after Nikki Owens spelled backwards, they are not the same, or also known as, one another.
I think that distinction is very important, otherwise fans will just start conflating a real life person with a fictional character when there is a pretty distinct difference.

Climax of this song is the best thing they ever did
It's up there with Gravity's Union, In keeping secrets, Final Cut, and Dark Sentencer for sure.
I'd also put in pretty much the entirety of The Light and The Glass from this album up there as among their best.
It's still fascinating, to me, how IKSSE just sort of came out of nowhere. SSTB was just so rough around the edges and year and a half later we're blindsided with this prog rock masterpiece. This is my favorite song off of what I think is still Coheed's best album.

I went to one of my first concerts at carolina rebellion in 2017. I saw a couple bands but I really wanted to see these guys and as soon as I saw the stage and heard them I got closer to the stage. Im a car audio guy so im picky about music quality but I can say these guys had the best sound quality compared to all the other bigger bands. You really need to see them to see what I mean. Thanks

I still vividly remember hearing this song for the first time. I had been very fondly aware of the guys when they were still Shabütie. I greatly enjoyed TSSTB. So when they released the title track and this song to promote the album, I didn't hesitate to give it a listen. I was thoroughly impressed by both songs, thinking that they have improved a lot (from an already high level). Then came "dear Ambellina ... " and I was stunned. For the rest of the night I listened to that part over and over again, and the album had been on heavy rotation for probably a year. I have been a die-hard fan ever since,

I forgot how this album was just back to back bangers, as most of em. Claudio is probably *the* biggest creative behemoth of the last 20 years. Between the spread of his creativity across media forms, but the sheer fucking skill to back it all up and express it through utter refinement... Fuck, the man doesn't do anything in mediocrity!

@@beidouvirus3978 I used to be a Christian, and I was one of the ones that actually read the bible. XD But then I realized how much was wrong with it. How much humans changed of the message through the years to suit their own desires and establish their power base. So now I just think we're all little fragments of a single conscious thing, and since time is just something we made up to help our minds understand reality better, we're all that thing right now too. Which is sort of the same thing as God, but without all the hate and hypocrisy. So the odds of 'Heaven' existing are pretty slim, but don't worry, dying is just waking up again, so it'll be fine. But you're not likely to meet the same people again. At least not how they are now. So enjoy what time you have now, and the people you spend it with. They're way more important than some afterlife.

One thing I don't understand, the Crowing is destined to destroy the Keywork, but the Keywork is critical to keeping Heaven's Fence together.
Given how many people live on Heavens Fence, why is destroying the Keywork a good thing?
Especially how we see the aftermath in Vaxis Act I, what world's were not destroyed became prison colonies for what appears to be an even greater evil than the Red Army.
Wouldn't that have made Claudio an even worse villain than Wilhelm Ryan?
We never got the story of No World for Tomorrow, so does that get explained there?
I think the idea is that since the second monstar virus pretty much ensures everyone who does ends up serving Ryan Willhelm in the afterlife, that the key work has been poisoned and it's better for these people to just fizzle out into nothing than to never find rest.
So, the Crowing must destroy the keywork as the lesser of two evils.

Is The Prize the bad guy?
All I know about the story is:
There is a guy called Coheed, a girl(?) called Cambria, a girl called Ambelina, a sniper/murderer called Al (he has a spaceship), the keywork and the Red Army(whoever they are).
I've googled it, but it is a long and expansive story.
Would you (or anyone) be able to fill in the blanks for me? Give me some kind of crash course.
Coheed, and Cambria in the story are the parents of Claudio. Ambelina is one of the Prize, the Prize are not bad, but they are not good. Ambelina was sent to protect Claudio because he is the "Crowing". The Crowing is important for the Key works... And honestly I have a hangover, so if someone else can feel you in a little more, that would be for the best. Just ask google the for the meanings to a CO, CAM song you like. Their fans have filled in the blanks pretty well.
