doesnt matter how much recognition they get, they'll still be underrated. They're simply too unique of a band to be overlooked. The only way you dont like coheed, is if you ONLY listen to rap. If you solely listen to beats and nothing else, aside from the fact you're missing out on a world of music, coheed likely wont be for you. For EVERYONE else, they can find something to like about coheed. I got into coheed with Second Stage Turbine Blade, when they had a very screamo/posthardcore sound.(Back then we just called it emo, but today there is emo, and then posthardcore), and now they have a much more like, metal and hard rock sound. I mean, SSTB will always be my favorite because of nostalgia, but, all coheed is good coheed.
So much depth and emotion in this song. The transitions through this song are flawless and show the creativity of Coheed and Cambria to truly write and develop incredible poetry and music. So much better than the crap being pushed through the mainstream music industry.
corknakovastein Not only written by Claudio himself, but for the most part they follow the story/theme of his own comic book series known as The Amory Wars.
So juvenile in it's make but ever so inspired and deeply rooted in complexity. Coheed is legendary in the fact that there are very very few bands that will ever venture to such a depth. All of Coheed can do no wrong. These are pioneers of our time.
Zachary Hilton I had trouble figuring out what that phrase ment untill I started reading the comic book, apparently "man your own jack hammer " is a refrence to coheeds brother, and his children manning gigantic laser defense cannons to stop an incoming invasion fleet about to basically vaporize earth
Saw them preform at the filmore in Charlotte and the raw emotion in this song as well as the rest of the album really came out in the crowd. Tears and all we where Screaming the lyrics back to claudio. All in all it was the best night of my life. So proud to be part of the coheed fam. I cant wait to see them again!
during recording of second verse claudio didn't play his guitar, he just held the strings muted, if you listed carefully you can hear his hand slip and play a couple notes. 2:30-2:34
Coheed has been my favorite band since I bought this album after seeing a favor house Atlantic music video on mtv. They are also the best live band I’ve ever seen by a long shot. I have seen them 8 times now live and hope for many more
It was 113 dislikes. 114 now thanks to me. Someone suggested this band to me. I have never been into this vocal style. But I dislike the stuff that i don't like so it doesn't show up on any of the suggested videos. It's not hard to understand why someone doesn't like the same music as you. What you should try to understand is this: people are subjective, even if they lie to themselves and pretend to be open minded. I don't expect you to like a certain style of music that doesn't fit with your own personal taste and intuition. It's stupid to question the diversity within human nature...

My brother used to listen to this song like crazy, it always stayed in my head in pieces. But this is my first time hearing it since 2010, pretty nostalgic
The first time I saw C&c they played with movie life Thursday & recover in Dallas Texas. Stood on the street corner and kicked it with the band. There was no need for them to rush back stage, there wasn't a back stage. This was second days. This what dedication and good music gets you in life.
I have seen C&C multiple times, got to see them again about a month ago and they Finally played this! I was so hyped as the whole crowd was. We all belted out the lyrics with all our might. This band is very special to me as I shared my love of C&C with my late brother. Thanks for the beautiful music Claudio & crew!
Bro Rock and Bro Country are fighting each other for drunken supremacy while real music is being performed on stages so small most of us will never hear.
Fatalistic much? Many rock bands out there are amazing just not as popular as comercialized music. That still doesnt make them non-exostent. And even at the beginning they werent that popular or accepted by the general public

It made me question everything I held true at that point in life and soon opened my mind to the power of narrative. I have since loved this band.

my vocal cords have been compromised lately and I have to go to a specialist to fix them, but "I think" I can sing along, finally. I cannot go low without whispering.
I CANT FUCKING WAIT to see this band live for the first time in 10 days. Omg
How was it?
@@jadedstar723 truly amazing
Coheed may be the most slept on/underrated band of all time
long time for a reply but yes I agree 100% great band (even if he looks like he shouldnt have voice like this) ;)
They were pretty popular around 04-06. Still underrated though.

I agree
They were actually like the led Zeppelin of my generation back when I was in high school
17 years later still my favorite album 💘💘💘
One of the greatest songs of all time.
Who's here in 2019? Still one of my favorite albums of all time.
Just saw these guys in Salt Lake this last Thursday. They've still got it.
Saw them in Portland. My first concert. This song was INSANE live w everyone screaming “MAN YOUR OWN JACKHAMMER”
21 : 13 is the best song for me, I like all of them tho
Dogs: bark. Cats: meow . Retards: 2019 anyone?
2020
This song literally never gets old. period.
This whole album throws me back to some old memories of great times
speak ya mind, playa.
An anime is going through my mind as the song plays & all the names that worked on this anime 😅
@Eaxl F.U.
make new memories to it too, it is a timeless treasure
Saw them last night at house of blues in murda beach ,they killed it,they played this song n the shit unloaded. Great times.🤙
So much depth and emotion in this song. The transitions through this song are flawless and show the creativity of Coheed and Cambria to truly write and develop incredible poetry and music. So much better than the crap being pushed through the mainstream music industry.
Best part is most of the songs they play are written by Claudio himself, the man is a Musical Genius!
corknakovastein Not only written by Claudio himself, but for the most part they follow the story/theme of his own comic book series known as The Amory Wars.
Hence the name, Coheed and Cambria, as those are the two main characters in the initial plot.
I own every comic and book that he's made for the series, I know just about everything there is to know about this band!
Cool. Is the series actually any good?
So juvenile in it's make but ever so inspired and deeply rooted in complexity. Coheed is legendary in the fact that there are very very few bands that will ever venture to such a depth. All of Coheed can do no wrong. These are pioneers of our time.
The song that made me a fan of this band 👌👌👌👌👌👌
OMG, first time listening, what have I been missing, I am not worthy...
If you havent already, I highly recomend The Crowing, hell, pretty much everything on their first 2 albums are absolute gold
One of my favorite albums of all time
It's about the motif of Jesse's invasion.
Roy Pradhan it's about silly salamanders
This song is and forever will be my goat.
Just saw them at the Hard Rock Orlando, they let the crowd sing the "MAN YOUR JACK HAMMER", it was amazing.

8 minutes of pure awesome.

how do people dislike? haha I'm confused. this song is simply flawless.
Claudio's voice on full display! \m/

I love at their shows when the whole crowd is like oooo0000OOOOO

one of the top 5 songs in the discography.
Easily my #1 , Up there with A Favor House Atlantic
Instantly reminded me of Coheed and Cambria's "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth : Part 3" intro and outro. Beautiful.
I have always liked Classic Rock. Metal?? Boo! But then a friend told me to listen to this. Oh. Wow. MOAR!!

@@wakwick8993 a fan of both, but 100 percent prefer the former. Don't mean this in a combative way, but care to elaborate?

its a shame this level of creativity inst as common anymore, it seems like all of the really big rock bands are slowly fading away.
