For example the blue moon doors. You can literally glitch through every single one of them, and get some of the strongest bows in the game at level 1, if you really wanted to.

Good thing these videos exist bc on 360 and again on Pc I was just a warrior running around whacking things. Now that I got the switch version I'm actually trying other playstyles for once. Only took me, what, 6 years?
After 5 years I finally moved from warrior to mystic knight and I love it😂 no changes over the past year though yet but I’m showing a new person the game so imma play at the same time and give them tips and I’ll try being a mage and sorcerer but I’ll eventually go back to MK I just wanna pick up some skills and hopefully teach my sorcerer pawn what spells to use
here I was thinking I was good at the game. sitting at a steady level 180 or so and I had no clue gamble was able to one shot, or demons wrath worked like that.
Friendly reminder to all you Mystic Knight users, holding down the summon button for certain MK abilities/spells will charge them up, allowing you to use the more powerful effects you read about at the inn/skill place. I'm just now learning this and I felt dumb, it certainly makes the Knight more combat capable.
Yes this is a feature for all magic vocations and even some bow ones. Yellow-star skills need a second bar charged as opposed to base-level skills. You can get red-star skills (like high bolide) with certain items (assuming you've already learned to Yellow version)
If your playing on PC do yourself a favor and head to the nexus and mod the game. So many good quality of life changes there. Example - change the cast speed buff from articulacy to something meaningful. Or make bolide not waste 80% of it's shots on dirt. My all time favorite is to mod out or increase your carry capacity and reduce stamina use while running.
So i have a question for everyone here. What is with the sudden popularity skyrocket of this game? I have been playing Dragons Dogma since like 2012 and am curious as to why its just now getting popular
The Switch release was recent, so youtube has pushing Dogma content, and then additionally there is an Anime in the works, which may have drawn attention.
@@Nihil0.0 oh! Ok! Neat im glad to see this game finally getting the attention in deserves now only if dragons dogma online would go NA that would be even better
Surprised sixfold-bolt isnt on this tbh. That skill has evaded all reason for me. Sometimes it absolutely shreds an enemy and sometimes it deals almost or literally 0 damage to the same type of enemy. I am absolutely clueless why that is.
The tracer bolt may hit a weak point, but the actual darts that home in on it may hit tougher parts. It's a very finicky ability, but not hard to understand once you notice what's happening.
Still doesn't explain why Blearing and Silentium are melee PBAoE. It's...dumb. We are not talking the MK, but a simple Mage, what's he doing running in the front lines? And no, I can't edit it with that fantastic dinput.dll hook mod. They'd actually be quite satisfying to use for CC if they actually had range... Regardless, thanks for this video. edit: Maybe do a vid on the balance of skills / augments? Would love to hear your thoughts.
I wish company's think about to mix Dragon dogma & skyrim & the witcher 3 & sims 4 about costume houses Woow this well be great And more smart nps I mean when you be dragonborn should all human and soldier respect you or when you are stormblade or legeit they should be respect you
If your on pc I would recommend downloading a mod to "fix" bolide it makes the skill more competitive with malestorm but doesn't replace the functionality of other spells. Shame that seism is so under preforming.
I did not know about the Bolide mod, but I stay away from mods that change the mechanics since many viewers here are from all platforms, I gotta have the similar results. But also I don't have a problem with Bolide, it serves it's purpose pretty well. And yeah Seism is not very useful
i noticed that when fighting that wind dragon right before daimon, if i used grand bolide the dragon would get hit more often, i don't know if i was being really lucky or if it lands more hits because the dragon has a big hurtbox
I believe it's because dragons have multiple target locations like chimera do. ie; You only get things like dragon horns or great dragon alula if you target specific parts of the dragon.
Bolide is a must have skill for hydras though. Since the hydra takes up a lot of room, the meteors are more likely to hit the hydra. I find it has more chance of hitting large and giant foes than small foes. Just my opinion though.
There is a mod for the PC version that allows Bolide to hit all meteors, which makes it much more viable. Some can argue that'd make it too Overpowered but all the skills basically are, the mod just puts Bolide up there with the others like Glicel and stuff. Still wouldn't use Grand Bolide, that's better used with something like Glicel but it's nice having it be actually usefull.
Question nils. Why do mage and sorcerer pawns cast in front of enemies like dragons instead of casting behind them. Is it because of their script or do they have to be taught how to?
Because you are. They have to be in the screen (in a sense) they need to reset to your side on occasion, and this puts them close to you. Sometimes yes, even if you are far they will place them selves in the front, and that would likely be because the center of the screen is the target, and they need to be in the screen for you to see them (or at least the program says so)
@@Nihil0.0 ok ill take that into consideration. Cus I was wondering why they would always do that. How are you enjoying your vacation i hope its been going well?
I don't know if that Splitter no fall damage was patched out on the PS4 version or if I need to have a lighter character, but that absolutely will not work for me. I've tried it multiple times in multiple locations including Duskmoon Tower. And no I'm not jumping first.

Zoretsu no idea I don’t think they announced it
RUSH yeah dragons dogma has got to come out after it coming out on the Nintendo switch and getting a anime
Its been out for s while
2:16 dang thats in dmc5 O_O
Same development team.👍
Have you ever tried talking without pausing between every couple of words?
The Magic Archer skills can be confusing to use as well like how Great Ward Arrow and Magic Rebalancer work as well.
You can get red-star skills (like high bolide) with certain items (assuming you've already learned to Yellow version)
extremely useful video, also nice to see that once again, the best way to use ranger skills is to just level as ranger and nothing else.
I always say each vocation gets the stats that they need.
Well, Ranger’s stamina growth from level 100+ is equal to other classes, so you’re free to mix and match, if you are min/max stamina.
Great gamble means that it's a chance to get high damage, or low damage. It's like a lottery ticket. You win or you lose.
high knowledge on chymera being 3 npc in 1
I play a Changeling names Nihil in DnD sessions with my friends. Well met fellow Nihil!
He one shots the giant, while I am barely able to scratch it atm xD
Don't worry it won't be that long reaching to the point of dealing one entire bar of hp per hit
Now I learned thanks, . . . I never knew why I always got a fall damage using that Skull Splitter on that spot 😂😂😂
Maelstorm them all
you and another pawn casting maelstorm will do quite a mess to anything anywhere, except a few types of enemies
I just started playing DDDA and YT shows me this... I really don't see me fighting those big chonker as a FIghter/Mystic Knight xD
i got a switch just because this game came out lol, i put soooooo much hours on the pc version
Good videos, started the game again.
for those unaware you can come on and out and mosnters will always respawn in the boos room to farm RC
I've finally found my long lost brother... #NihilFamily
Yep, there's a few of us out there
demon's wrath also has that crit chance thing since it's dark
Yep, DemonsWrath is one of my favorite skills
I dont get how bolide could be confusing if you read its description it's pretty clear what it does it's a higher level fire spell.
Yes, but it only hits 2 meteors per target, making it a waste on rooms that arent full of things.
Bolide looks so cool even though the skill absolutely sucks.
It's a very finicky ability, but not hard to understand once you notice what's happening.
a guardian of this labyrinth perhaps
Great Sacrifice is powerful and all but the inconvenience of losing a pawn when I still need one is just...
I main MK and its good to see it on here lol never used demons wrath but now i think i might start
The second sacrifice tried to run.
That's a well-earned subscribe from me. Thanks, man.
Great video and lots of informative commenters
Actually I think 4 meteors hit the ogre, the 4th one connected when he was doing his drop kick, but still point well taken.
You must be the king of manipulating youtube algorithms. 100k views for DD? I salute you.
His content is simply that good.
Dude, just go miasma with according effect archistaff
way simpler and better
I wish company's think about to mix
Dragon dogma & skyrim & the witcher 3 & sims 4 about costume houses
Woow this well be great
And more smart nps
I mean when you be dragonborn should all human and soldier respect you or when you are stormblade or legeit
they should be respect you
Great contents! Thanks man
Thanks KYY
Imagine if the highest bolide was enough to destroy an entire solar system lmao, or at least the sun
Master’s Voice
just bought this game and I have no idea what any of this is or the stuff mentioned in the comics but thank you anyway I'm sure I will in time.
Never knew that about bolide.
Just found this vid after asking about fall damage with helm splitter on another video. I feel so dumb!
No worries. Many have asked about that trick
Really well done video, Thanks!
Thanks Mike. I appreciate it
Imagine if levitate actually had an use, Damn that would be cool as fuck!
i noticed that when fighting that wind dragon right before daimon, if i used grand bolide the dragon would get hit more often, i don't know if i was being really lucky or if it lands more hits because the dragon has a big hurtbox
I believe it's because dragons have multiple target locations like chimera do. ie; You only get things like dragon horns or great dragon alula if you target specific parts of the dragon.
What gear is the strider in the first segment wearing? That outfit looks rad.
Bolide is a must have skill for hydras though. Since the hydra takes up a lot of room, the meteors are more likely to hit the hydra. I find it has more chance of hitting large and giant foes than small foes. Just my opinion though.
You think we'll ever get a sequel to DD?
yeah, I think so. And it's good to read from you Minato, even if you're not first
@@Nihil0.0 I keep up with all your vids I just don't always have something to say is all
Dragon's dogma 2 is a thing now
There is a mod for the PC version that allows Bolide to hit all meteors, which makes it much more viable.
I'm not sure about the PS4 or XB1 or Switch. That would suck if it were changed. That would be a silly thing to "fix"
@@Nihil0.0 Actually I guess it was weight. I made my character lighter and now it works.
Good to hear. I've been telling everyone as far as I know it works on all platforms.
Please help!!! My skull splitter doesn’t work! Can’t spin and also can’t dodge roll! Any ideas????
you failed to point out that grand bolide took off almost 2 life bars on that elder ogre, while regular barely fell short of taking off 1 bar
