Bro, Thalmor Soldier really said, "He seems a bit short to me." lmfao, now that's funny and something I haven't seen before mostly because I don't play other races except Nord.
I only really play Breton and Dunmer (or occasionally Khajiit on PC) so I kinda feel ya there. I have other characters but they're only there due to an RP I have about Martin Septim having a ton of descendants who all have the potential to become Dragonborn depending on which one was on the cart that day. He was a follower of Sanguine at one point, after all.
I mainly played the beast races, so I had no idea, but during the mission to infiltrate their outpost and get any info you can on them, you can totally just walk around if you have thalmor robes, as long as you're playing as a high elf that is. Other races get caught easily, khajiit and argonians REALLY get caught easily.
Took me years to notice if you talk to that vampire woman in Morthal when your character has the advanced vampire disease she will tell you she knows what you are
I recently saw the Nightingale one for the first time. I have, however, spared Hroggar in multiple playthroughs. With a high enough Sneak (or a Calm spell) you can get down to Alva's cellar in peace.
Here's also one! You know in nilheim where if you agree to help that dude sitting on the ground, they lead you to an ambush? Well of you kill everyone on the camp before talking to the guy on the ground, they will have different dialogue when reaching the camp
If you really want to have some fun with Katria, loot her corpse, then give her better armor. Then, use the Undead Thrall spell to resurrect her and use the zombie as a companion while her spirit helps out with the quest. She's actually a pretty solid thrall, as I recall.
and if you sold it before the dawnguard questline you need to buy it back. Urag will charge you 4000 gold for it, but if you're archmage you can bring it down to 2000 but Urag will complain

You drop a item on Riften's ground* The Dark Elf on your side: If no one wants it, I'll take it. The Dark Elf on the other side of city: *YOU'RE TOO SLOW I SAW IT FIRST*
Usually, one of the first things I do when coming into Morthal is chop wood and sell to Hroggar. He doesn't attack you when you break into Alva's house and you can loot and go downstairs to your heart's content. All he ever says to me is "I won't let you hurt Alva." whenever I'm near him. I didn't know Winterhold had a jail! Now I'm going to have to do something to go to jail there, even though I'm Thane.
I questioned Etienne before freeing him, not realizing that even though I didn't attack him, he'd be bitter every time I encountered him in the Cistern.
Player: An Elder Scroll, the single most powerful thing in entire existence, which not even the Aedra dare to mess with... Vendor: Best I'll do is 2.000 septims. Take it or leave it.
i feel like there's still events/interactions in this game that haven't been discovered yet. These details create one of the greatest senses of immersion in any videogame.
For the voice of the emperor one I find it quite stupid that both sides are even fighting when there is a dragon attacking, I feel like at that point you work together because it increases everyone’s chance of survival
Thought exactly the same on my first playthrough, i was like cmon theres a freaking dragon killing everyone right outside, its not the damn time for this shıt.
For once, a skyrim video where I see something I haven't seen in 30 other videos. I had no idea you could get a dragon soul from jurgens horn. Or speak to Boethias champion.
"A man who feels no fear has no heart. I know fear. But it does not control me." Dude is dropping one of the rawest lines in Skyrim in easily missable dialogue.
The first one is strange lore-wise, since even most of the proper Thieves Guild thought the Nightingales were just a myth, and yet there's a random thief who knows about them? It would work better with the position of Guild Master. Also, the mess in Riften isn't exclusive to Riften at all, sometimes NPCs will fight over dropped valuable items. Using Voice of the Emperor in Helgen just makes the Stormcloaks use the lines they would say if you sided with them, especially the one about Ralof liking you. Lastly, Estormo standing down is a bug or shaky programming, as some NPCs that aren't inherently hostile can stand down if you sheathe your weapon after attacking them.
Well, there are a few astonishingly interesting possibilities. A few of those i already came across: Serana at the dawnguard and High Hrothgar after having learned already wirlwind sprint. But the Thalmor disguise, for example, looks pretty funny! Nice collection!
You don't have to have the full Nightingale armour for that to happen. Just wearing part of it has the same result. If you do hand Saadia over to them she is killed as there is a marker where she is buried
I did discover The Chill and had no idea what it was for, finally! I also like that if you don't kill all the afflicted they become a random hostile encounter and you can meet with other people who went drinking with you and Sam Guevenne, they want money though...
I had no idea about the Thalmor disguise as a Wood Elf. "Seems a bit short to me." 😂
It gets more strange if you think that bosmer works in the thalmor as leaders or common members.
"Aren't you a little short for a Justiciar?"
It doesn't work as nord too. I think you have to be high elf to let you pass.

This is why I still like Bethesda. There is no denying their games have lost alot of the RPG elements but you can never say the quality of the world has faded. It's these little moments that show the devs care about what they are making and in the age of dead eyed developers coming out to announce some looter shooter or another third person movie game it's refreshing.
Dude! This game is over a decade old!
Their modern games are something else entirely....
Bethesda is now, unfortunately, a shadow of its former self.

and yet, the developers leave us with no choice to let Paarthunax live if you want to continue with the blades.
Just lie to them after you confront the greybeards about it
Easy, just don't complete the blades.
@@luciusvoldaren Delphine being a petty bitch shouldn't be a reason for player not rebuilding Blades. And still 3 re-releases and no "SHUT" option for Delphine
Being able to let Paarthunax live and telling the blades to just stfu is a must have mod in every playthrough I do...
even worse, it's illogical from the lore point of view. the blades have no right to command you a bodyguard has no right to issue orders to the one who hired them

Skyrim at its finest.
It blows my fucking mind when I accidentally hit someone in Winterhold and then got imprisoned in the middle of nowhere.

These atronachs are permanent so they where not summoned
My best guess is its a deal both side profit from
The City can keep criminals looked away and the atronachs idk eat the corpses? Lmao
The horn only gives a soul if you have Anniversary edition.
@janeenschultz8502 Incorrect, actually. When I explored the dungeon, I found that thing and it gave me a soul. I don’t have that edition
Ur telling me... after a decade... I can just be a high elf and walk through the embassy? The face sculpter is actually useful!?

I love that the winter hold guards just say "alright, we don't have a jail right now, so just like.. get in this cave I guess."
Damn winterhold jail must be horrible, not only will it be cold but theres ice astronach as guards, probaly not the most friendly guards
Winterhold Guard: By order of the three people that live here! HAULT!
6:30 Going to jail for choking the chicken in public... I mean punching the chicken.
lol the thief sure is rich, he even wore a glass armor
Their armor scales like Bandits in Oblivion. At earlier levels he goes from Leather to Elven, then the Glass.

5:00 cracked me up... " Seems to be a bit short to me " 😂
If you really want to have some fun with Katria, loot her corpse, then give her better armor. Then, use the Undead Thrall spell to resurrect her and use the zombie as a companion while her spirit helps out with the quest. She's actually a pretty solid thrall, as I recall.
Omg that explains so much when people in riften randomly started fighting when i dropped stuff cause i was to heavy
When you go back to the Winterhold College library, the Dragon Elder Scroll will be on display.
and if you sold it before the dawnguard questline you need to buy it back. Urag will charge you 4000 gold for it, but if you're archmage you can bring it down to 2000 but Urag will complain
3:41 Ah I remember that being one of the selling points of Skyrim, that NPCs react to things you drop
Wow i actually didn't know about the horn giving you a soul! I have probably close to a thousand hours of Skyrim played, but never once thought to go back into the ruins to check if it was there.
I always assumed the greybeards kept it.
hard same, this one was completely new to me too!
Supposedly if you mash the activate button on it fast enough, you can get multiple souls from it, though that’s more of an exploit.

The Katria moment with taking her armor and then pushing her off the cliff... That made me laugh entirely too hard
we could have an option like "give me the ebony armor and you don't have to die"

If you sell the elder scroll but haven't done Dawnguard yet, you can get it back from the college
I sold an Elder Scroll at The College before, and that Riften market fiasco was the crux of one of the funniest Skyrim vids I’ve ever seen.

"A man who feels no fear has no heart. I know fear. But it does not control me."
Dude is dropping one of the rawest lines in Skyrim in easily missable dialogue.
If someone made an ES spoof game, chicken puncher should be a class.
2:28 u can sell it to the priest in the dawnguard for 6k gold instead of 2k
Well, there are a few astonishingly interesting possibilities. A few of those i already came across: Serana at the dawnguard and High Hrothgar after having learned already wirlwind sprint. But the Thalmor disguise, for example, looks pretty funny! Nice collection!
The nightingale thief encounter only happens if you return the skeleton key and become the boss of the thieves guild

You don't have to have the full Nightingale armour for that to happen. Just wearing part of it has the same result.
