Some of the best opportunities to practice Spanish can be found in a restaurant or street food stand. I had a blast impressing wait staff with my Mexican Spanish at a few vegan restaurants and street food stands in Mexico City. Big thanks to Diego and Efra from MexTalki for all the laughs and good eats! Thank you for watching, you're awesome :) New videos every Saturday.
    Who Am I?:
👋 Hola, I'm Nate. I used to not know any Spanish at all, and I had no interest in learning the language. I thought learning Spanish would be boring, a waste of time, and would provide no value to my life. Then I started taking Spanish classes in high school and everything changed for me. I struggled with learning the language a lot at first, but thanks to my teachers and my Spanish speaking friends, they helped make the learning process fun. Within a few months, I had gotten to a conversational level, but more important, I had become a more confident person. The real win for me, though, was the friendships I made and strengthened. I discovered that not only did I have higher self esteem, but being out in the real world with people, whether old friends or new ones I met, made me feel more alive and connected with the world around me. Now it's my goal to create videos that make you smile and inspire you to learn Spanish or another language!

I can tell Nate also really likes and appreciates the Mexican culture and is respectful of the people. I never felt that he is a youtuber trying to make a buck off videos, exploiting the culture by being knowledgeable on in Spanish but actually enjoys speaking Spanish so he could talk to the very people he enjoys being around.

I came across this video and was surprised to meet the Mextalki guys (Diego and Efraín) here. I have learned a lot by watching their many videos, which are not only informative, but fun. I also like listening to them on podcasts. They speak naturally, but also with good diction -- after a few repetitions, I catch most of what they are saying. While I don't know Diego personally, Efraín has been my coach on Spanish, and he's excellent.

Jesus Christ is the only true source of peace and hope ❤. He paid the price for our sins so that we may repent and be saved
God is perfectly just, so he must punish sin.

”For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ ‭‭- Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬
Jesus lived a perfect sinless life and shed his innocent blood as a sacrifice to pay the “bail” for our sins (“crimes”) for all who believe and put their faith in Him
“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ‭‭- John‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32‬
