And yes, sadly you should keep and eye on your belongings, you feel it safe because you just arrived but it's not that safe. 4€ for the fish... feels like they made you a gift because it's impossible to get that price anywhere, they definitely could have charged you 15-20€. "I'll fix you up"... 14:16 What a genuinely sweet and kind man. Same could be said about all the other wonderful folks in this video. Sadly, I can't even recall the last time I experienced that kind of service or kindness over here (US), it's nearly nonexistent these days.. Anyway, as always, fantastic video!
@@LuvThyMind29 No, not in the slightest. I'm not an ungrateful nor unpleasant cretin, but rather, someone who is always positive, friendly, kind and courteous when encountering anyone in life, let alone, service workers, including all the blatantly rude, unfriendly and hostile people I come across. And despite all these less than inviting and/or desirable people I meet, I still don't have that perpetual chip on my shoulder that most people seem to have these days, and still manage to stay consistently positive and friendly to everyone I meet. I can tell ya, in all my 54 years of living in this world and in particular, here in the US, it certainly hasn't always been that way, but rather, something I've witnessed declining massively in the last couple of decades and just continuing to get worse and worse each day. I suppose one could attribute a lot of this to piss-poor parenting and I'm sure, a myriad of other things. But usually when basic human characteristics, such as common courtesy are absent, I think it's pretty safe to say, that's simply due to how someone was raised. And I'm sure there are parts of the country where civilized behavior and people treating others kindly, warmly and respectfully still exist, and on occasion, I do still experience that here, but again, it's quite rare, (gross understatement) sadly. I remember when I used to pass people publicly, whilst just walking down the street or in/out of a store and always, out of habit, make eye contact, nod my head and greet everyone with a simple and brief "hi, mornin', how are ya?" etc.. and it always be well received and reciprocated. Nowadays, 99% of the time I'm met with either a blank stare or a resentful look that screams, "how dare you speak to me, I don't know you". Basically a look of confusion and disgust.. Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is, it's just very sad and disheartening, to say the least. And again, when I watch these videos from folks visiting other parts of the world and see how drastically different the way of life is, in that regard, and how it resembles the way things 'used' to be here, I just get incredibly bummed out. Anyway, blah blah blah.. Take care.. DC

I'm Catalan, there's a word I don't understand in the middle of the sentence because of the background noise, but more or less the woman says: "dona-li, que el noi vol formatge, Jordi".
The correct translation into English would be "give him, the guy wants cheese, Jordi" (Jordi is a common name in Catalonia, equivalent to George).
For people who speak Catalan, does the woman say "el noi", "només", "l'home" or something else? I don't quite understand what it says between "dóna-li que" and "vol".

That's definitely not been my experience..maybe you are forgetting to warmly greet service workers in the US.
Take care..
