Audio like this isn't just for masking, but can help the brain retrain itself to ignore tinnitus. A cure in the sense you likely have in mind would mean repairing/regrowing nerve tissue, which is not on the near horizon.
It's more annoying than my tinnitus... but when I stopped it, the ringing seemed to be softer. I'm going to have to play with this a bit. I've never had any of these affect my hearing before. Thanks for sharing.
I have had this happen when I listen to cricket sounds that are close in pitch to the tinnitus. It's like some weird trick to the brain or something. Sometimes I find the tinnitus starts to sound a bit like the crickets afterwards.
Wow, this actually helps! Not even the colored noises were helpimg me anymore, but i just hit play and poof, i dont hear the ringing. Now im afraid to turn my volume down. 😭
I find when I listen to this type of sound I can slowly bring the volume down a bit the longer I listen. I need it higher at first, but after a while the mind gets used to it so I can lower it a bit and it still works
@rosemaryrose4574 try not to focus on the sound and try to not get stressed it makes it worse...try to rest and think good thoughts itcwill help and get better it just takes time
I will try that ,but many sleepness still :( doctor says may be blocked sinuses have spray ,but that doesn't do anything, got a audiogy appointment next week, hopefully see what they say.
Thanks for putting this up. This is one of the many sounds in RUclips that I use. There is no cure, once that idea settles in you are psychologically more at ease in accepting it. The problem is even if you can ignore it for months it might recur strongly episodically.
My tinnitus sounds like the cicada sound at the moment, but I would have to have the video up quite loud to cover the sound itself. Plus I can also feel the buzz in my ears. Sometimes my tinnitus changes to a different sound. Does anyone else have any of these symptoms? I think I must be weird 😮
it works for me, i heard the silence ! Unfortunately it does not cure T, no improvement. It is usefull to have some minutes of silence and to relax. is it dangerous? High frequencies
I'm 56 and workout 3 times a week. Always had a fast metabolism. Looking for a good post workout recovery and energy product. I eat a fairly great diet.
Are there hearing devices that create this sound without effecting hearing? I tried to wear my earbuds with the sound going on, but then I couldn’t hear much else around me
I literally have to ask people when I’m outside if they hear crickets too so I can tell if it’s my noise or really happening outside! 😢😢😢 we need a cure! Blessings to all
Does it mask your tinnitus? Matthew
Almost. It takes out part of it...
😮😮😮
Only like the left channel, please release that only
I only have it in my left ear, and this helps a lot
We don't want masking ,we want cures.
There is no cure. Masking gives my brain a rest, for which I am very grateful. 😊

Inwinder what the cause is
Masking is a good treatment until a cure comes along.
@akvarshney8630 what relief do you get from the herbal remedy?
This is the BEST cicada on the internet

Agree. The only strategy for it is "mind over matter" - convince your mind it doesn't matter and you will no longer mind it. :)
I don't know about you guys, but mine gets so loud I want yo literally bang my head on my headboard but I cry instead😢

Thanks for sharing Karen, let's see if anyone else shares your issues. Matthew
That's the weird part, sometimes I don't hear it, but I can feel it.
Mine seems to be changing and not for the better. It’s so discouraging. I have a high tone and many other sounds in both ears.

The more I think about my tinnitus the worse it gets so it’s hard to say
Thank you for sharing. Matthew

some wireless ear buds have a hear-through feature. For example jabra elite 75t.
As a Nurse, I can say the Cricket is not Jiminy or this grasshopper...

How did you get your tinnitus
The guy in the film is not a cicada .. is Mr cricket. Anyway it works
Nope. That’s a grasshopper.
Good bluegill bait for the kids.
Queria saber se tem cura este zumbido no ouvido….
Já tentei muitas coisas, mas me desespero sem a cura e o silêncio!

it doesn't work for me
Times masks well at the lowest volume for me
I had temporary tinnitus for 7 to 8 days but it was very horrible experience
that's not a cicada, nor is the sound
Dr Adebayo Ighalo treated me of tinnitus, so happy I'm finally cured of tinnitus and the buzzing sound.
That's not a cricket its a grasshopper.
No unfortunately this doesn’t help
Sorry to hear that Gaylabarre. Hopefully some of my other masking videos will help! Matthew
commercials....ugh...
Not so helpful... but I pictured this little fellow complaining to his otolaryngologist about his terrible ringing sounds. 😮 😂
🤣🤣🤣
