    This is the best sound therapy yet! I listen to it while sleeping and it gives me relief all day. It’s not until I get into bed at night and everything is quiet that I notice my tinnitus. Such a relief. Thank you thank you

      You just described me, except the high-pitched squeal is on my left, and it rarely occurs outside of a quiet environment. These masking techniques are nice while you are getting ready to sleep, but you can't listen to them 24/7. A cure would save my sanity, which is often stretched to near-breaking points sometimes by what I call my "screaming meemies." I can't even remember what real silence sounds like. All these mental gymnastics to hide or distract you are becoming exhausting.

    I kid you not - change your relationship with your tinnitus and it will cease to bother you. Used to have playlists of masking videos but I haven't put on any in months. Just as your brain can create the ringing, you brain can also tune out its importance to your cognitive processes, as well as its negative associations. As a result it doesn't panic or stress you the odd time you do notice or think about it.

      I Resonate with this comment. As a holistic vocal coach I also suggest befriending your tinnitus and seeking ways to accept it. I have had tinnitus since I was 11 yrs old.. And as a singer it's been an interesting journey. I suggest humming the most dominant tone you hear it altar or lower - matching it's pitch. This also encourages deep breathing to fuel the humming tone and calm the mind body and soul. Also speaking kind words to it and asking it to lower it's volume. Ensuring you don't say 'my' tinnitus rather 'the' tinnitus in my ears as well. Language and mindset can really help.

    Hey there. My tinnitus was caused by machine gun fire without ear protection when I was in the military. after target practice, ears blocked until a day later and then I had the tinnitus. so even when a vehicle moves abruptly it hisses in time with the movement over and above the usual hissing. My noise is like the high frequency static noise the old CRT TV's used to make, only 'louder'. It also comes with pain in the ear, and volume goes up for a few days if i hear a loud sound. Usually the sound of crickets causes pain especially cicala. Mine is so bad even sea waves and rain cause pain in the ear.

Why it would scrunch up against the inner noise and the outer noise is a relief is beyond me, unless the noise was being generated by my ear for some reason and now it didn't have to? If I shut the sound off now my tinnitus is a LOT quieter. I have Menière's. My hearing aids help somewhat too.

    Dr Ben...how many hours a day do you do this therapy? Can you successfully recover?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  5 месяцев назад

      We typically recommend a minimum of 6 hours during the day however, we recommend striving for using sound therapy during all waking hours. Many people habituate to tinnitus within 18 months, if not sooner.

    Some tinnitus videos on RUclips are available on Amazon Music, as I have recently discovered. Is this one on there by chance? My tinnitus is very bad (visual snow syndrome caused by Long Covid) and this video of yours has brought me the best relief.

    if i find this frequency irritating (becouse is similar to my tinnitus) should I stop and find diferent sounds or should i used this one particulary ( becouse its will help my brain) ?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  Месяц назад +1

      Great question! The best sound therapy is one that you find calming/relaxing; sound therapy is not one size fits all. It does not have to match the tinnitus. Continue exploring alternative sounds until you find one that resonates with you.

    Doctor, I've had tinnitus for 3 months, I put the sound on all night and this morning the noise disappeared... can this sound be curative or was it just a coincidence?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  Месяц назад

      While it might be a coincidence ncontinue using sound therapy to help manage your tinnitus long-term. Keep an eye on it, and consult with a specialist if needed!

      @treblehealth hi thanks for the reply, I have been suffering from tinnitus for about 3 months, about 15 days ago I did some simple blood tests and they found a strong vitamin D deficiency. Since then I started taking supplements and changed my diet and the fact is that my tinnitus has almost disappeared at this time, the doctor told me that this deficiency could be causing it.. now I don't know if it was a coincidence but maybe many people suffer from it for this reason and don't know it. I apologize for my English I'm with the translator
