      That's fantastic to hear! I'm glad the sound therapy aligns so closely with your tinnitus. Keep in mind, we do not want to mask the tinnitus with sound therapy as the brain cannot habituate to something that it cannot hear. It's important to keep the sound therapy at a soft but audible level allowing you to hear both the sound therapy and the tinnitus.

      Pulse rate? Are you hearing your own heart beat? If that’s very noticeable it could be you have high blood pressure, so do get that checked.

    • @bella-bee
      @bella-bee 8 месяцев назад

      If these noises were continuous instead of intermittent I’d say that’s what my tinnitus is like, so this just adds to it. The only good thing I find listening to it is that it’s outside my head, whereas my tinnitus is inside. I’ve not yet been concentrating to hear if there’s a loop. There must be, but I hope it’s not too memorable. There’s a lower pheep I’m hearing bottom right which is annoyingly frequent!

    How come everyone mispronounces tinnitus nowadays?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, while we understand that pronouncing the word "tin-ih-tuhs" seems a little strange, there is actually a reasoning for this. In Latin, the ending -ITIS refers to inflammation -- think tendonitis, arthritis, etc. Even though the word tinnitus ends in -ITIS, tinnitus itself is not caused by (or due to) inflammation -- therefore, the ITIS is not pronounced in the same way as conditions that are related to inflammation.
