@@christinesizemore2610 yes it is a horrible thing. I generally have no problems with it apart from poor hearing for TV conversation and social occasions which I don't care/worry about . However sleep or lack of it nearly did for me. 5 days/nights is the record! . I take lorazapam . Which unfortunately is a benzodopamine and it helps a lot , but I'm a chronic insomniac. These audio backgrounds are fantastic. Good luck with everything . Regards Chris
That's fantastic to hear! I'm glad the sound therapy aligns so closely with your tinnitus. Keep in mind, we do not want to mask the tinnitus with sound therapy as the brain cannot habituate to something that it cannot hear. It's important to keep the sound therapy at a soft but audible level allowing you to hear both the sound therapy and the tinnitus.

Can I listen to this with the song next to me I used to listen to things with my earbuds also I think just listening to music helps me more than this cricket sounds it's more annoying it's in my desk
Unfortunately one of the things associated with the sudden onset of my tinnitus was extremely loud frog sounds all night for a month. Crickets are a bit too close for comfort :)
Dr i wanna ask is this also tinnitus,my ears pulse rate is fast then become slow . When i lay on my sides its getting worse. Please help me please, what can i do.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
If these noises were continuous instead of intermittent I’d say that’s what my tinnitus is like, so this just adds to it. The only good thing I find listening to it is that it’s outside my head, whereas my tinnitus is inside. I’ve not yet been concentrating to hear if there’s a loop. There must be, but I hope it’s not too memorable. There’s a lower pheep I’m hearing bottom right which is annoyingly frequent!

Hi there, while we understand that pronouncing the word "tin-ih-tuhs" seems a little strange, there is actually a reasoning for this. In Latin, the ending -ITIS refers to inflammation -- think tendonitis, arthritis, etc. Even though the word tinnitus ends in -ITIS, tinnitus itself is not caused by (or due to) inflammation -- therefore, the ITIS is not pronounced in the same way as conditions that are related to inflammation.
Everyone deals with Tinnitus differently because it differs from individual to individual. Some get cure most don't. We just learn & teach others how to deal with this awful problem. For instance it is my first time listening to this frequency. Best of luck on your journey to find peace.

I'm so happy to hear that!

How long can you listen to this on a phone speaker (not headphones) on a reasonable volume ? Is it safe Dr.? @treblehealth
85 dB is a safe cut off. When using sound therapy, it should be well below this threshold.

Pulse rate? Are you hearing your own heart beat? If that’s very noticeable it could be you have high blood pressure, so do get that checked.
