I think this is true, some people only take care of babies because of these type of feelings. I think the mom is also just trying to reach some weird goal when she says that she wants to have 12 children. It reminds me of how some cults want women to have as many children as is physically possible for them. This whole episode has been giving me weird vibes from the mom.

My mother was just like this mother. She expected me to be the mother for my siblings. Leaving us every evening to go to church from 5-10pm and on Saturdays 9pm-5am. I was only 11 years old, I had to find what to make for them to eat while she was gone as she expected me to do this everyday.i missed several weeks of school to just stay home to help her from year 5. This ended up making me behind in school until I was in year 9. I used to have to clean the whole house everyday and then got shouted at for not watching my baby brother because I had homework to do.I don’t get why adults have children they can’t take care of then puts that on their own children. It’s really backwards honestly. And very selfish!
I understand the look on Logan's face when his dad hugs him. He wants to trust again, but he's not sure if he can. I've been there. And things didn't always turn out like I had hoped. :/
@Daniela Asante well yeah but I haven't seen the comments with hearts until I saw this one. I've only seen 3 videos including this one, but i know there are most likely other hearts on comments in this video

I feel like I haven’t seen this in the comments so I’ll be the one to say it. I am proud of Dale. So proud. Airing your addiction on national television has to be terrifying. Growing up with an alcoholic “father” (more like sperm donor who lived in the same house as me) who still has not gotten help, I’m glad for him and his children that he is sober, or at least attempting to be.
I think the dad's drinking was an issue and should have been brought up, but it almost felt like the mom was trying to place all the blame on the dad for Logan parenting his siblings. Neither parent was parenting.
Like Selena Quintanilla Said Before She Passed away If you have Dream Don't Let Anybody take it Away And you Always That The impossible is Always Possible
The parents complaining about the teenagers not wanting to take care of their younger siblings is what got me. YOU GUYS DON’T WANT TO WATCH THEM. Why would you expect your teens to want to watch them?!
The kids didn't seem especially difficult. It was quantity of behaviour rather than quality that seemed the biggest thing. The older ones all seemed drained and so sick of being in the wrong all the time. The younger one seemed rambunctious, but perfectly normal.
Honestly it's disgusting that they have to look after them. The older children should be allowed to be teenagers. If you can't handle 10 kids then don't have 10 kids.
this is one of those episodes where jo shouldve either told the mom to go to short term therapy or call CPS. that women isn't right in the head also having so many children at the same time is PURE selfishness

@@hello8987 who knows how much money the government gives them per month to raise twelve kids. Have you seen their house? I seriously doubt money is the issue with them.
Ok I'm not excusing the dad's alcoholism, I'm seriously not, but how she blames everything on her husband's problem with alcohol, while denying completely her own, obvious responsibility in ruining this family with her obsession, makes me angry...
When Carlie and her Mom went to get their nails done, it just made me cry. I know that young girl has been through so much with that awful mother. I would adopt her if I could and give her the love and attention she deserves.
That Mother is selfish, and she just wants the babies.. The Father is pretty damned useless with his children. As for Logan, I cried to hear him speak....his life is being spoiled and it is NOT right.
The kids are not bad kids they just need their parents. If you bring children in the world it's your responsibility to raise them, not anyone else. Let teenagers be teenagers instead of having them raise their younger siblings

The minute I heard they had TEN kids I was like “oh that explains the crazy glimmer in her eyes.” As the episode went on, I was proven right about the crazy...
Tbh it's nothing to do with the amount, but the lack of attention to them. I am also one of ten and my parents can remember our ages, birthdays and heck they remember hw much we each weighed and what time we were born at
I don't know if anyone else found this beautiful but when they admitted to the dads drinking problem and they were all able to state it without him being toxic shows the love they really all have for each other. In my family, it would have gotten so toxic, denial, accusations, put downs, name calling, fighting etc. I loved how they were able to come out with it and address it so they can get help. There aren't many families that can do this.
My mum just asked what I was watching, I told her "Supernanny, why?" Mum: "oh I used to watch that show! I used all the techniques on all 7 of you. It really works, I love Jo. I never had to use it on you though, you were no bother you were just extremely lazy." Me: "so nothing has changed then?" Mum: "pretty much my darling, haha"
To tell the truth, random chance brings me to Supernanny. I like watching her show, it is quite interesting since I haven't even married yet. Instead of making children, I am considering to adopt, might be useful for future reference :3

Notice how the mother is just always holding the baby? Even after she went out and came back, first thing she does is go grab the baby. She doesn't want *kids* she wants *babies* and once they grow up she doesn't care about them anymore she just wants another baby.
HOLY CRAP!!!! thx for all the likes 😁😁😁
She wanted 12 the heck
I'v realized that too . She treats her kids like trash sometimes and shes ALWAYS with her baby
Yes, she probably loves newborns and the babies
Weed is not good for you I hope dad does not have that to.
I felt sorry for the older kids who got to parent their younger siblings. They don't deserve to be treated unfairly.
Being the 2nd child of 7 and having to babysit the 3 yougest brothers...EVEN MISSED 6 DAYS OF SCHOOL ,DO SO AT 13 years old/ 8th grader, until the Principal found out and told my parents that Washington State would put them in jail if it happened again, that woke my folks up!
Exactly I bet you once they turned 18 they moved out of the house first chance they got.
My grandfather was 1 of 12 kids, and the older kids did indeed help raise the younger ones. But that was 100 years ago, times have changed and family planning methods are much better.
Kevron Harris exactly
I think she is morgz mum that’s why she makes them do the baby sitting
It's not fair if older siblings need to look after their younger siblings. They didn't want to have all those kids, the parents did. Such selfish parents!
They’re not selfish .. I had 2 older sisters and they had to help out with me and when I got older I helped out! Families all pitch in
I agree, different when there were no birth control options. The mother wanted 12 children and it is not the children’s responsibility. How dare that mother put so much responsibility on the older children. Helping out is one thing, parenting is quite another. Think mum is addicted to babies.
Teresa Tv thank you. Helping out and parenting is much different.

I can't get over the bit where they ask Logan what he wants to do and Jo teased him about taking his friend out and how she made him smile and laugh which was so hard for him to do. The fact that Jo was the only one to pay attention to the older kids, Logan and Carly especially, equal parts broke and warmed my heart because it showed them that they weren't completely ignored, but I feel like it made them wish that she was around more often.
