But Supernanny got to the root, and dug it out. Just by calmly talking to him he explained what happened to cause his outburst with his sister. And he calmed down. I found that very interesting when she told the dad by him bringing anger to his son, it was only escalating the anger, in the son. And you could clearly see the son face talking to Nanny he was just wanting to get an adult to listen to his side. So Nanny said get both sides, before you always condemn the one you think started it. No wonder he had all that anger, in him, too much unjustified condemnation.

@janine I mean, it was really the man who just felt ‘uncomfortable’ with her dads lifestyle. I get the vibe she didn’t care at all. Which is probably why he came back into her life right after they divorced.
Well who would..like textbook controller. Knock her up young before career/degree, knock her up again when you have small baby 6 more times so she is basically pregnant 7 years straight. He didn't have to like her dad, but there is no reason why he wouldn't allow her to have relationship with him. This was obvious case that husband decided how THEY felt and her opinion was whatever husband's opinion was.
You gotta watch the husbands body language and reactions whenever he was around Jo, its almost like he's curling in on himself, he cant even look Jo in the eye (he's either looking down, to the side, or his eyes are looking above Jo's head). He knows he's been caught, he knows she's going to call him out - ON TV. Its like he's being careful around her, careful about what he does and says. Also - when Jo is talking to Katie about how she's too hard on herself? Husband is watching Katy and his jaw is tense.

I was crying to my dad passed away when I was 15 and I would do anything to have him here with me I’m glad she’s happy and got her relationship back with her father ❤️😭💙
I felt Joe really connected with this family and it was nice to see. The parents were stern and not push overs but lacked patience with their kids and Joe helped with that.
I read that the couple split later, and i think that was the best. He wasn't right for her. He was the one that wanted kids, but doesnt help her? You shouldn't have had kids then, at least not yet
I think that the fact that Kadi lets Danie pick which corner he goes in for time out is super helpful, if your mind is busy with deciding, you won't be so upset, also, it shows that you actually care about what they think, good job, Kadi!
It's so important how she balances the responsibilities of older kids also with priveledges and the way she actually respects the son with ADHDs needs and listens to him!
Notice how Super Nanny says she didn't want kids, but she wanted to keep her husband happy who wanted kids. And with the dad's sexuality, HE doesn't allow it. The husband is the villian here in plain sight. She's in tears just trying to stand up to him

I think this is probably the family that has taken the most away from Jo coming to help them. They were mature and so ready to learn. They followed through beautifully and were so ready and willing to learn new things that will help with their son with adhd. It’s quite sad how the doctors of us the diagnosis of adhd but they don’t help with tools to use to help these children. It should all be very entwined and discussed with the diagnosis or very short after being diagnosed. Great job to these parents and to Jo’s beautiful knowledge❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like how Jo deals with emotional trauma the parents hold as well. When you think about it, we are all children as well, just older. We have the same deep down basic desires, we are just in older bodies and able to control our reactions, somewhat.
That husband let himself go meanwhile she looks amazing even after so many kids and so much stress around. Glad to hear she shed that burden that was her husband
Daniel 7 so he one of the oldest, as soon as the parents found out that he had ADHD, their priority should have switched from having loads of kids to trying to support Daniel and get him the help needs.
@@everydayimwingingit3875 She regretted having that many kids just to make her husband happy. She didn't have that many kids because SHE wanted that many kids.
Children will misbehave if they’re being “parented” by another child! How lazy and irresponsible can you be. Don’t have kids if you’re not going to raise them yourself.
The 8 yr old was so mature and we'll spoken! I think the 7yr old with ADHD will benefit from being given responsibility because that shows that they trust him to take care of his assigned tasks.
For some reason, that lost look on Katie's face during the first family meeting really got to me. Just the way she looked so desperately at Jo to tell her what to do. This girl is only 28. 😞
Kadi is 42 or 43 now. She divorced the kid’s dad and Marlie got pregnant at 17 with her daughter. Kadi ended up marrying another dude and ended up pregnant around the same time Marlie did and their daughters are only three weeks apart in age so they are the babies are like 5 years old I believe.
The dad was definitely off putting about his FIL, but the phone call with him and listening to his FIL being proud of him, his whole face changed and his eyes were red with emotion. It was an interesting transition to watch, and I hope the family has come together since.
Really? I didn't get that reaction from him at all. I picked up that he was barely tolerating having to listen/talk to the man on the phone and attributed the "red eyes" to being forced to do something that he really REALLY did not want to do.
I have 2 children who have adhd. My son and my daughter display so differently. My son is just like their son. It takes an incredible amount of patients, compassion, and discipline to parent these kiddos in an effective and loving manner. Very challenging, but also so rewarding bc they are wonderful and fasinating people
It's not genetic. There is no genetic link you can pull from actual genetics. It's a projection that even leads to misdiagnosed kids who didn't have anything even.
@@AuroraLalune yes it literally is . Everyone in my family has it. My parents are in their 40’s and they were diagnosed in their teens. Plus, it’s not something that only kids get diagnosed with. Teens and adults get diagnosed way too late.

I was 8 when my mom left my dad. I was oldest of 4 and only girl
It was expected that I had to take care of the boys. 2-1/2, 6-1/2 and 2 weeks. I was the one who took care of everything plus get good grades. That was 62 years ago and I still resent how I was robbed of my childhood!
Just know its never too late to help your inner child and be very proud of your accomplishments. Im very proud of you for even saying this.
I agree. You had an awesome responsibility and you seem to have executed it well. I applaud you as well. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I was crying to
my dad passed away when I was 15 and I would do anything to have him here with me I’m glad she’s happy and got her relationship back with her father ❤️😭💙
Hi and I'm 11 and when I was 9 my uncle Ronnie and my nana died I miss them so much and my cat died last year
@@levieggemeyer3436 I’m sorry for u
Im sorry for your loss
I'm sorry for your loss, my dad was mentally and physically abusive so sadly I can't relate.
So sorry for your loss, I lost mine this March
Man that lady had 7 kids and disowned her dad to keep her husband happy that’s an UNHEALTHY relationship girl leave him
she did thankfully!
So toxic! So glad to hear she left him.
5:02 when Daniel threw the chair and woke up baby Reed. It broke my heart the way he jumped when he got scared🥺
How does she still look like that after 7 kids??? Some people are just blessed…
She's also still in her twenties
@@emmao1232 what ?? No way…
My thoughts exactly. This stuff often ages you, but she looks amazing.
Blessed ? I don’t thing, she look sick …
@@emmao1232 nah she must be at least 30 something
I felt Joe really connected with this family and it was nice to see. The parents were stern and not push overs but lacked patience with their kids and Joe helped with that.
I read that the couple split later, and i think that was the best. He wasn't right for her. He was the one that wanted kids, but doesnt help her? You shouldn't have had kids then, at least not yet
Imagine the cameraman risking himself to record every family that has issues-
😂😂😂 for real. They don’t get enough credit
It's OK, its the cameraman that always survives horror movies!!!😂😂😂
She's in tears just trying to stand up to him
I cant believe they parentified their 8 year old child. It shouldn't be her responsibility to parent kids who are almost as old as her
Okay that really scared me when Daniel was in his room throwing things and baby Reed was in his crib 😳
They're parentifying the 8 year old daughter. She didn't ask for all those siblings, so mom and dad need to step up.
Hardly. She’s doing favours for her whilst her mother is doing something else.
@@ibrahimahmed6739 bro you don't get it
She not doing "small favors" the 8yo does everything and she shouldn't be because she didn't ask for 7 siblings and the parents need to take care of them not the 8yo
THE LITTLE BOY AT THE END “Good job JoJo👍🏼”?? THE CUTEST THING EVER AHH
MARLI’S SMILE IS SO SWEET! Like seriously, at 19:06, I wanted to cry
I like how Jo deals with emotional trauma the parents hold as well. When you think about it, we are all children as well, just older. We have the same deep down basic desires, we are just in older bodies and able to control our reactions, somewhat.
“Please find Reed’s shoe” OH LOOK. Another thing you can ask someone not named Marli to help you with!
Best episode yet. Jo Frost is an incredible person, with sharp insight into how best to help these fractured families.
There is no way that I can explain the love and life that Joe personally gives out to every individual person.
Love you Joe Joe 0:44
Imagine them watching themselves when they are older 😂
Jo has helped many children but even more adults. Wow.
Ok the flippin tower was absolutely hysterical. If that'd been one of my kids i would have fallen over laughing.
I cried when they finally got Daniel calmed down properly. I'm so glad they had help
Give that poor 8 year old her childhood back!😭 No mini-moms!!!!
It happened to me, you never outgrow it or reverse the damage
the mom had her at 20, imo mom lost her youth as well and just didnt know what to do
U do realize she has it back?Or r u not done with the episode.
How old is Marleys daughter?
That husband let himself go meanwhile she looks amazing even after so many kids and so much stress around. Glad to hear she shed that burden that was her husband
The kid said "Good Job jojo" is so Cute 😍💖
Daniel 7 so he one of the oldest, as soon as the parents found out that he had ADHD, their priority should have switched from having loads of kids to trying to support Daniel and get him the help needs.
Literally balling over how good they did when reviewing the tape in time out. The love in that was BEAUTIFUL 🥹
I think she Regretting Having Kids
I think so to, to be honest with you
I think she's doing great and admitting it's hard. Hat off to her, that doesn't mean regret thinking if wouldn't be as hard as it is
She had 7. She had to stop at the first kid. Now if she regrets it... Yeah, oh well.
Ya 100%
@@everydayimwingingit3875 She regretted having that many kids just to make her husband happy. She didn't have that many kids because SHE wanted that many kids.
I love how jo peaks around corners during observation 😂
Whenever my mom and brother fight i watch supernanny episode for comfort. Listening to other peoples family problems make me forget about mine.
Children will misbehave if they’re being “parented” by another child! How lazy and irresponsible can you be. Don’t have kids if you’re not going to raise them yourself.
I know right! Just keep your legs closed
She's trying her best cmon :/
Trying her best isn't good enough. The little girl didn't have 7 kids, the mom and dad did cmon
i dont think the mother wanted the kids she said she never wanted them but the father did and she just wanted to please him.
The 8 yr old was so mature and we'll spoken! I think the 7yr old with ADHD will benefit from being given responsibility because that shows that they trust him to take care of his assigned tasks.
I love love how Jo teaches. The board with writing and the little balls… brilliant! So creative!
“She’s not enjoying motherhood right now”
😂😂😂
Apparently she rather enjoys making them...
@@chherrywine There’s a supernanny wiki.
I feel so bad for the wife because she just wanted to love her dad, but her husband wouldn't allow that.
i feel like jo was looking after kadi just as much as the children
The dad was definitely off putting about his FIL, but the phone call with him and listening to his FIL being proud of him, his whole face changed and his eyes were red with emotion. It was an interesting transition to watch, and I hope the family has come together since.
Apparently they got divorced and are both remarried
@@Burlykim13 how did you get to know?
Playing to the camera's. Obviously he didn't follow thru if they' ve both moved on.
@@jenparry718 it could've been for other reasons as well. Divorce is never so one dimensional.
Very challenging, but also so rewarding bc they are wonderful and fasinating people
May I ask how your daughter's ADHD differs from your son's?
Tbh if Daniel has ADHD, I wonder how many more kids in their family were also diagnosed, since it’s rather common for it to be genetic
It's not genetic. There is no genetic link you can pull from actual genetics. It's a projection that even leads to misdiagnosed kids who didn't have anything even.
I wonder if he had ADHD at all? I look like he was treated like Marli and Daniel was not having it. Good for him.
@@AuroraLalune yes it literally is . Everyone in my family has it. My parents are in their 40’s and they were diagnosed in their teens. Plus, it’s not something that only kids get diagnosed with. Teens and adults get diagnosed way too late.
@@AuroraLalune another thing, they probably didn’t “get over it” but learned how to mask (how to push down neurodivergent traits)
Or that it runs in families
I cant image having 7 kids that's a lot of work
Try 10
And they’re so close together, she was basically pregnant for years. How exhausting.
They make having four kids look easy
My mom has 3 and barely gets through every day lmao. My dad had 6 kids and no wonder, he was never arund and was really mentally and physically abusive!
My grandma had 8 :/
