      But Supernanny got to the root, and dug it out. Just by calmly talking to him he explained what happened to cause his outburst with his sister. And he calmed down. I found that very interesting when she told the dad by him bringing anger to his son, it was only escalating the anger, in the son. And you could clearly see the son face talking to Nanny he was just wanting to get an adult to listen to his side. So Nanny said get both sides, before you always condemn the one you think started it. No wonder he had all that anger, in him, too much unjustified condemnation.

    "We have different views on his lifestyle" and yet she is so sad her dad isn't there and wants him. I don't think she homophobic. I think her husband is. but he's worn her down to think she is too. that sit-down convo with the 3 of them just shows it. Her husband is controlling her thoughts and way of life. she was so scared of him leaving her, as her father did with her mother, that she had that many kids when she didn't want kids. there is more stuff going on behind closed doors. Her husband seems manipulative, and also aggressive. The kids learn to hit each other from seeing it from somewhere. I wonder who they learn that from. I may be completely wrong, but this is just another take on this family.

He knows he's been caught, he knows she's going to call him out - ON TV. Its like he's being careful around her, careful about what he does and says. Also - when Jo is talking to Katie about how she's too hard on herself? Husband is watching Katy and his jaw is tense.

      Kadi is 42 or 43 now. She divorced the kid’s dad and Marlie got pregnant at 17 with her daughter. Kadi ended up marrying another dude and ended up pregnant around the same time Marlie did and their daughters are only three weeks apart in age so they are the babies are like 5 years old I believe.

    The dad was definitely off putting about his FIL, but the phone call with him and listening to his FIL being proud of him, his whole face changed and his eyes were red with emotion. It was an interesting transition to watch, and I hope the family has come together since.

      Really? I didn't get that reaction from him at all. I picked up that he was barely tolerating having to listen/talk to the man on the phone and attributed the "red eyes" to being forced to do something that he really REALLY did not want to do.

    I have 2 children who have adhd. My son and my daughter display so differently. My son is just like their son. It takes an incredible amount of patients, compassion, and discipline to parent these kiddos in an effective and loving manner. Very challenging, but also so rewarding bc they are wonderful and fasinating people

    Tbh if Daniel has ADHD, I wonder how many more kids in their family were also diagnosed, since it’s rather common for it to be genetic

    • @AuroraLalune
      @AuroraLalune 3 года назад +9

      It's not genetic. There is no genetic link you can pull from actual genetics. It's a projection that even leads to misdiagnosed kids who didn't have anything even.

      @@AuroraLalune yes it literally is . Everyone in my family has it. My parents are in their 40’s and they were diagnosed in their teens. Plus, it’s not something that only kids get diagnosed with. Teens and adults get diagnosed way too late.
