This is honestly one of the best 'Living in Canadian city xyz' videos I've watched. Really goes deep into historical problems, hidden gems to visit, food places to try. Love it. Thanks for putting in the time.
Hey, Ryan! Thank you for informative video. In my opinion, you have a wonderful pronunciation. My listening comprehension of English is still bad, so I will listen to you carefully to improve my English. Thank you for that. Tell more about life in community please.
My husband and I moved here a few months ago. We were looking for an amusement or theme park to go to in the area because Toronto is so far and so bleh. I was sad and frustrated to hear that there is an abandoned one here!! I hope someone will buy the property and revive it into something unique. Especially since the local population is growing. I want to go somewhere with in-depth theming.
Not sure if anyone remembers Neil Hope Aka wheels in Degrassi junior high? He lived in Windsor for a while, he was interviewed in September 2005 , I'm English but definitely want to visit Canada and America, both look great countries
Wow! This is a great channel! I know you are a good real estate, but could you make a video about job opportunities. I am very interested in moving to Windsor. That will be very helpful for me. Thanks a lot, Ryan!
what do i do if i now live in a building that was affected by the floods, where the owner (i have proof, publically available) that they got 300,000$ and did nothing even close to that to fix this building, a lot of the tenants are suffering health issues due to this...
@@ryancrits8180 yeah its beyond that tho, anyway, love the video im still watching it, going to be doing the abandoned amusement parc i had no idea about and the paddle boat rides too !! thank you for the ideas
@@ryancrits8180 we moved here to launch and start our fashion brand :) be sure to check us out as were proudly incorporated in Windsor, the history of this city is absolutely phenomenal!
Nice video i live in Saskatoon Rents are really cheap here but its extream cold here do you think winser is better how much is minimum rent in bad area for bachler or one bedroom
To be honest with you, I don't entirely know. The 2008 Crash hit Windsor hard because we are an automotive town... so that may play a significant factor - London, Kitchener, & the GTA weren't as reliant on the automotive industry so prices didn't drop as far in those cities.
Hi Eduardo! South Windsor and LaSalle have some of the best elementary schools in the city! In fact southwood public school in South Windsor was ranked the best school in our area by The Fraser Institute
went to detroit for no reason the other day. driving through windsor made me want to move there, the american-esque city planning, municipal highway, not over crowded and clean. anything in the golden horseshoe is the complete opposite. traffic is horrible, the drivers are much worse here. parking lots littered with trash, groups of 30yr old dudes loitering late nights at the local car wash.
Hi Ryan the information in the video is very interesting, I am looking for where to locate myself with my family in Windsor, what would be the neighborhoods to avoid.
I keep hearing people say air quality in Windsor is really bad. Is it that bad? I looked at the air quality index and it seemed like a bit below the average.. :(
@@ryancrits8180 hello Ryan, I apologize for the english, lol.. my job is summed up in video editing, both for cinema, commercial videos, marketing, gamedesign, web, creation and editing of soundtracks among others
really a boring drive is not a big con for you lol how about the cost of rent even for very run down apartments or the fact that a lot of places only rent out to uni or collage students making an affordable place extremely hard to find in a decent part of town. Or the transit system not really changing much other then price increasing every year. You may live in Windsor but clearly not the average person that lives and commutes in it.
The cons you mention can describe any city in Ontario. I stuck to Windsor specific pros and cons. Rent is expensive, but WIndsor has cheaper rent than anywhere else south of Sudbury.
@@ryancrits8180 "WIndsor has cheaper rent than anywhere else south of Sudbury". Is false just looked at Sudbury and London rent and all are about the same, Medium Income is not (London with the highest Windsor 2nd and Sudbury 3rd) and one thing we have beat over the others is our unemployment rate.

Your video is so much fun! Thank you, bro!
Wow! This is a great channel! 👍👍
We got nailed by both those floods 2017 and 2020. They were almost 3 years to the day apart. When we have heavy rains now I feel sick.
Can you provide information about the part time jobs in Windsor specially for international students ?

That was good info thanks for sharing
Also Windsor have a really great warm weather and living lower costs across the country.
Excellent video please make more like this... Greetings from Dayton Ohio USA

It’s been purchased by Amico and they have been developing houses on it. Most windsorites drive to six flags in Ohio. It’s a bit closer than Toronto
Good info, cheers
What about mobile homes, and land prices
l remember when Detroit crossed 1000 moidurs in the mid 70's Windsor had 4

Medium sized city which is good i mean,to me, really good.

what about skilled trade jobs is there a lot of new construction going on there?
Actually tons of new construction… also there is a lot of tool & die companies
This is really nice. What is your opinion about Matchette rd houses close to prince rd?
Which is not lasalle but same road
Marchette road isn’t bad. In a fact west Windsor south of prince isn’t bad
Hey Ryan we are planning to relocate from Quebec to Winsor hopefully by next summer and I was wondering is it difficult to find work as a plumber?
I don’t believe so! It depends on who is hiring, but I believe it won’t be hard to find work in the plumbing trade in Windsor

Hard to say, rent seems to be going up lately. Maybe 800 for a one bedroom in a rougher area
Hey Ryan
What's the main reason for being low average property prices in Windsor rather than other cities in Ontario?
To be honest with you, I don't entirely know. The 2008 Crash hit Windsor hard because we are an automotive town... so that may play a significant factor - London, Kitchener, & the GTA weren't as reliant on the automotive industry so prices didn't drop as far in those cities.
It's Windsor....
Thank you for the video. Which part of Windsor is suitable for a family with grade schoolers?

Get work from home jobs
Is it true the air quality is poor?
lol no. I certainly haven’t noticed poor air quality
