@@xd12 John did pass, he is paying respect to his family and thanks for continuing to post John's videos...
yes
@@xd12... 😆
How much do we miss this humble man who just laid it out in a simple way to understand.
Good points. I'll give these a try next time I do triceps. John is still teaching us.
Man John was a great human being thank you whoever is keeping this alive!!!
Poor guy, i wish he was still here. The good always die young
The teacher, the mentor , the big dad of all the bb community.. never forgotten
Thank you to whoever is keeping this channel alive. John's knowledge is invaluable. His focus on longevity is something that made him unique.
Found these videos 4 years ago. Love them. God bless him and his family.
Man I wish I could have trained with this guy Everything he put out is so easy and relatable. Good Stuff
His generosity and genuine passion for giving great advice, just shines through.
His advice is invaluable to us all.
You know the Crazy thing is it's like John Meadows is still a live watching his Videos, its hard to believe that he is gone Thank you who ever is posting the videos up 💜💪🏽
Nothing has worked better to build my triceps than weighted dips. I can now do almost 4 45lbs plates.
I’ve been training since 1977 and there’s a lot of really excellent ( and FREE ) advice from this man. He knows his stuff - 300% more than the average “personal trainer.” Thanks for your videos !!
The good ones are always taken first. I wouldnt be anyway near my current size if not for the things I learnt from John.
Best example and explanation on the net. Amazing advice, seriously underrated. Thank you!
I’m glad you mentioned the sore elbows because I’m dealing with that right now and I couldn’t figure out what to do differently. Thanks!
Sad I only just now stumbled on John’s videos, seems like a great teacher!
Some of the best info on the internet period. RIP John
Always great watching John
Love the way you explain ...like a real teacher ...not fake
God rest your soul and bless your family! Learned a lot from this guy and I’m jacked naturally
I love your videos , you have helped me tremendously
Can’t remember when I first saw him do the double rope extension but I still use it to this day! It’s seriously one of the best tips/exercises for your tri’s!
Elbow pain makes everything in life tough, not just lifting. If you’re doing an exercise and it feels funny on your elbow, STOP. Working through pain is a sure fire way to injure yourself long term.
Always on point.
REALLY MISS THIS GUY. 😕 😢
It's sad I just recently found John, but very thankful for all these videos.
Johns the best! RIP Mountaindog!
Excellent advice
Thanks!
Love the JM press on a smith machine
We love you guys
After i started doing deep stretch overhead extensions my triceps got obese
Just the info I need right now.
Thank you to this channel owner, still trying out JM as his best ❤
I’m listening 💪🙂
thanks
I use long rope that is usually used for weighted dips. That rope is usually not used a lot in the gym I train in, so I use it for both triceps and biceps. (Pull rope up to your ears, similar to barbell curls close to forehead, but no risk to hit your own head :) )
Be the man. Be the Change they seek.
Very very true about the elbows
Clever man listen up 👍

Rip john 😢
but who makes the new videos?

@@xd12 not new. just scheduled to be posted!
@@catedoge3206not new, but re uploads from older videos
Should you blend arms (biceps) with triceps or dedicated a day only for triceps
Depends. What's your training split?
I’d argue you’re better off just blending biceps and triceps in one day. Having a tricep day seems like overkill
Rest your Soul brother 😢..

I have to say, I don't really understand doing the exercises that are harder on the elbows last. I'm not necessarily saying he's wrong, I just don't understand the difference. If they're harder on your elbows, wouldn't it be bad on the joint regardless?
I would think that doing them last means that you are totally warmed up, and you have probably used your triceps in other exercises, so it takes less weight to fatigue the triceps by then. Less weight should mean less chance of injury.
@Paul_dw_Kersey I considered the warming up theory but found it to be pretty extreme. However, more fatigue translating to less weight actually seems plausible due to less strain on the joint. The video didn't really clarify.
You aren’t able to use as much load due to muscular fatigue. This limits absolute load on the joint.
To use an example, imagine how much you could squat at the beginning of a session vs how much less after hack squats, leg extensions, and lunges. All your joints know is the load.
RIP
How old are you brother?
Can confirm: ded.
My elbows pop and hurt every rep no matter the weight or movement.
What I wouldn't give for one more Hi everybody.
It's upsetting that I listen to John like cheers pal then realise I should pray and tell Allah to put him in a good place in Jannah for helping so many men
You were awesome John 💪
Allah ????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I am trying to change my triceps....i have monkey triceps....
Tip 1 decrease beta tip 2 stop imitate O Hearn and pre-exhaust .. just stop torturing and give the muscles and joints peace with joy not hatred. Tip 3 there is none yet.
