So sorry to learn of his passing! First time viewer. I’m 62. Tomorrow is tricep day. Definitely will try this routine. Condolences to the family. Our only hope is in Christ. 🙏🏻
Love how John always explains things in a way everyone can understand and not trying to impress with scientific jargon, which he could easily do by the way.
I have made some gains using these tips. I have a lot of respect for this man’s respectful conversation and clean words. Many of the fitness channels have filthy speech. God rest this gentleman’s soul. R.I.P
Sadly i had never known of John until recently. This man is amazing with his education. I have learned more things in the past month than 15 years in the gym. What makes it so inspiring is you can see his passion and dedication. The way he teaches about things that can minimize injury is something I wish I had learned two shoulder surgeries ago. John, RIP brother and thank you for the inspiration, motivation, and guidance. My only regret is not being able to tell you how amazing you are.
To The late Mr. John Meadows (Bodybuilder), God bless And Thank You For Everything You Have Given Us All That Want To Continue Into Fitness And Weightlifting (light or heavy) And Bodybuilding.
Jon was a great guy and honest man! one who was always trying to help others without his ego getting in the way! truly SADHOW embarrassing the cocky youngsters are
This is a superb tricep progression. I have done these consistently in this sequence for 8 weeks and there is a big difference in my triceps. John was the master, the guru, and the man when it came to coaching and training :)
Years ago, I developed a horrible case of elbow tendentious by starting out with heavy skull crushers. Ever since watching this video, I have warmed up my triceps using the order of exercises that he mentions and my elbows have been staying healthy.
Finally i see someone talking about elbow pain in triceps training. I have huge pain in my elbows and i need to work on my triceps due to my work change. I try home work-outs with dumbbells.. Thanks for tips coach.
It might help to look at some physical therapy videos on here. I had triceps tendonitis and found some videos on here that taught me how to treat that.
Thank you so much I'm from Pakistan and I'm 50 years old and have been facing the issues of elbow pain for the last few weeks now I got why I'm facing these issues thanks again I will start doing tricep exercises the way you said Thanks again ✌️👍
He was the best. I sincerely wish I could have met this man and shook his hand for all the knowledge he has given us. Delivered in such a kind manner and family inclusive 😢
Man! I love this videos and the knowledge he has I’m still can’t believe it he pass. Mr you will live forever with this unplugged videos of you! Thank you for everything and sharing your tips and I hope you makes all the angels workout with you
These three exercises are my go-to workout for triceps, in the sequence John showed us here. I have since taken on board another tip of John's about partials and I've added them to all three. By the end of the workout my triceps are on fire and feel like they're going to explode. RIP, you awesome man and teacher.
Another reason why I like watching this guy so much is because he reminds me of my boss, looks almost identical to him, his name was Darrell Schoolfield (recently died a few years ago) same arms skin tone, not very tall, Barrell chest, I worked for Darrell , 1990 to 1992, he owned Fitness Factory in Tulsa, Ok, and he was a powerlifter also and he built his own exercise equipment. I always wanted to be an amateur or professional bodybuilder also, but my dad also stopped me from doing that like a lot of other things he'd stopped me from doing. At age 52 now, I'm actually looking really good for my age, and still doing sporadic bodybuilding, no contests, just bodybuilding
Love to be able to build ny own equipment. So cool. My father never encouraged me to do anything, so it could be said he stopped me too in a way. The best thing you can do for your body is to maintain some form of strength training so keep it up friend, even if you need a break at times.
hi. great video. what u think about deeps and close grip bench press? i want to add weight to my bench so ill be happy to take tips from u which tricebs exercises to choose as accessory
It's easy to mess your elbows up with tricep exercises for sure but changing up exercises helps also. I find dips to be the easiest on elbows and they help make the triceps huge.
Hi all, what about for a beginner who only has time for 3 sets of tricep work. Should I do 3 sets of pushdowns (since John said to always start with them), or try harder to lengthen my workout and tack on the rope pulls or that barbell movement (interesting movement vs skullcrushers - does John's hit different, like chest and triceps together)? Thanks for any advice.
I don't normally watch these kind of videos but glad I did, and a good length for attention span. Your suggestions make sense and the results speak for themselves. I never had time for more than one specific tricep exercise but with 4 kinds it looks like a 2 or 3 day split is needed. At my age it takes 3 or 4 days just to recover from anything even a jog, so I'm wondering how I could incorporate these complex moves. Maybe once weekly or even longer? Edit: Apparently the guy is no longer with us? Sorry. What happened?
I’m 55 and reinvigorated by HIT training. Great results-full body workout, 1-3x/week, no more than 12 exercises. ONE working set to FAILURE, following progressive overload. 1 year + gains like crazy. Mentzer approach.
Structuring your exercises? What if I only do one exercise for thr triceps? I'm currently doing overhead cable extensions on Saturday and rope pushdowns on Thursdays....
Miss this legendary man. Feels like with uploads his spirit still lives! 💪🏾🇺🇲
