My husband and I spent 6.5 years in South Korea. Absolutely love the food and people. This is one of my favorite dishes. I had no idea it is so easy to make! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!
White girl here, my school had a korean exchange student. We became best friends, I got her to join the tennis team with me, I taught her how to drive, and she introduced me to the best food in the world. To this day it's my favorite, I can feel it heal me heart and soul. Anytime I travel, I look for a korean restaurant. They're are hard to find, my favorite one is hours away. I go once a year, and I wish Korean food was as popular as Chinese or Mexican, where as you can find 1-3 of those types of eateries in town. Every chef with this kind of knowledge is so precious!

I like how you show how washing hands, utensils and ingredients are just part of sanitary cooking technique. Most other shows don't highlight this.

my mom used to make this for me ALL of the time, and while i liked it, i got sick of it after awhile. lol delicious and easily modifiable dish though. easy to add more veggies, protein, eat with brown and/or white rice, cauliflower rice, udon noodles, etc.
I am looking forward to making this. I only recently discovered black bean paste and fell in love with the flavor.

How do you make you tofu with this?
You mix tofu with Gochujang (hot pepper paste), little soy sauce, and sesame seeds. It's Ez recipe!!👍🏽
