10 min SEATED YOGA STRETCH | Easy Full Body Stretch | Yoga without mat

- All poses in this short yoga practice are seated poses, so they can be done without a yoga mat, you just need some clean spot where you can sit comfortably for 10 minutes.
If you find sitting on the floor uncomfortable on the hips and can't keep your spine straight (cross-legged or other seated positions), it can be a sign of tight hips. Try placing a folded blanket or towel underneath your sit bones - it often helps to make seated positions more comfortable.
Some of the poses in this practice (cross-legged sit, butterfly, 90/90 stretch) are not recommended for people with limited knee mobility, injured knees or other knee issues. As always, listen to your body and avoid any poses that cause pain.

Did this as my cool down after a workout. I've had covid for the past week and wanted to give exercising a go after being bedridden. This soothed my sore muscles and cured all of my tightness. Not to mention you have a beautiful, calming voice! Thank you again x
Still one of my favorite practices, it just clears my head so well
This is my favorite beginner yoga video. Some of the reasons I prefer your videos over others:
1) Your voice is calm but authoritative, and not breathy as if you're speaking through sighs. Just very straightforward and relaxing.
2) You don't use flowery language or appeals to mysticism. I belive that if this is one's connection to yoga, that's wonderful, but it turns me away from it, personally. I love that your language is straightforward and focused on the structure and mechanics of the body rather than mysticism. It helps me connect to the exercises much more comfortably.
3) The music you have playing is perfect. It's very engaging without being distracting, and very calm without being sleepy. Also the sound mixing between your voice volume and the ambient music is excellent.

This was really easy to do without having to crane my neck to look at what you're doing, you're really good at explaining and you have such a soothing voice. I'm recovering from multiple brain surgeries resulting in complications and haven't quite been able to exercise as much as I want, but this among other videos you have has been a great starting point even on days I'm low on spoons. You're amazing, and what you do is great too!

Thank you so much. I have been looking for some stretches/warm ups to do before work in hopes that it will prevent some of my pain problems, but it has been hard to find something I can physically do while my body is still in pain. This was lovely and was much more helpful for me than trying to rely solely on my nearly 20 year old ballet warm up knowledge 😅

This one is my favorite video to do. It always makes me feel so good. I love how in all your videos you explain each move so well that I don't have to keep my eyes on the screen to understand the move. I can just close my eyes and relax and go with the flow. Great video @yogawithuliana I tried this yoga video and it's awesome I like your pink leggings it remind's me of a buttercup, flower vibe. As a guy who tried this yoga session I wore leggings, yoga pant's just like your's but the difference is that they are Magenta color. And a darker shade of pink, Purple almost pink color. Also where did you get those pink leggings from in the video because I want to get those exact leggings so I can wear those leggings when I do yoga aswell.
Beautiful. If you do more butterfly stretches (titali asana) your knees wl properly touch the ground.

I could barely sit in cross-legged position this morning while starting this stretch. So the first few stretches in sitting position were hard for me, but in the end I was able to sit down comfortably.

Cross-legged can be a surprisingly challenging position) it's one of the poses that I always work towards with students, being able to sit cross-legged comfortably))

Does it get easrier over time? I feel like I give up every time i try to utilize yoga because I don't look like the instructor. I am trying to work on my posture but i think i should modify because it seems to hurt more than help at the end.
It can be challenging to practice on your own with a video, and it might not work for everyone. I would recommend you to try in-person classes where the instructor can see and adjust or recommend modifications when needed :)

I wouldn't recommend doing the same routine for 3 months, you will probably get really bored) switch it up a bit and try different ones)

We tried this at a funeral and it worked! We got kicked out. I spilled coffee inside the jar of his cremated remains. During the arm exercises we knocked over his ashes. I feel so free now that Harold is gone. I didnt know him well i was only there for the food. Thank you for making my day!
