I realized that I forgot to test the motions controls. They work just like you expect.
Err.. they work good yeah?
I do want to add this: No licensed Switch controller allows NFC support or rumble. I'm fairly certain Nintendo tells them to not allow those features in a licensed controller.
No BS review - exactly what I was looking for! Grabbing this controller for PC emulation! Thanks!
Glad I could help!
I cant clear my turbo. It's not active but the light is on and every button blinks turbo but only for as long as I hold it?
I can’t figure out how to take it apart after taking off the screws
How do you connect this controller to the switch?
I need help connecting mine to my Nintendo switch. could someone give me a video on how to connect it?
can you use this controller normally while it's charging?
Can you send me pics of the manual please I need to reset mine
Does the wire do data transfer?
i.e. Is it possible to use this on my PC with my Bluetooth turned off?
Also I can't find anywhere I can buy this controller any more.
I think it was pulled.
Wire doesn't do data transfer. The controller is available on Amazon, at least in the US.
What are F1 and F2?
I have the one with the wire I don’t know why don’t work!!
Do you know if I can use for classique wii?
I'm pretty sure you can't. At least, I can't think of a way.
Pros: FL and FR and hard to press, no accidental presses. d pad is very good. joysticks, R, ZR and L, ZL, Y and X are a joy.
Cons: joystick presses are VERY hard and clicky, so are A and B, very tough/stiff/clicky to the point that my hands get tired after one hour of a gaming session. no vibration. the 6 menu buttons are rubbery and feel cheap.
A tad expensive overall. If I can somehow reduce the clickyness of A and B I will be very happy.
Good points! Thanks
See i got 2 of those because the first one just refused to respond suddenly, and the second one has issues with the left stick where it has snapback and some drift. Ive tried to go into the controller but i wouldnt know how to take the part out being tight in there
Were you able to fix it ? I also have snapback and drift
@@kapy8405 no I just bought another because of the way mine was built there was not those switches at all
What I really don't like about these 3rd party controllers is that the buttons are super clicky and hard as hell compared to the actual gamecube controller, there really isn't much of a choice in that regard. The Power A ones are still getting the closest in terms of feel imho, but they used to have faulty potentiometers a couple years ago - not sure they got any better in the meanwhile
Do you notice any input lag compared to the wired one?
Good question. I didn't notice much delay, but I didn't try to measure it. That would be an interesting experiment.
this controller was just delivered to me today. the main thing i was wondering was would it work on pc. YES it does work. i connected it via bluetooth and set it up in steam controller settings. it did not work with a usb c cable. it was recognized by the system with the name hori battlepad or something but i couldn't get it to recognize consistently and when it did it still wouldn't work. button presses where not recognized by windows or steam. i don't know why it didn't work but it works over bluetooth on pc which is what i wanted it for anyway. besides smash ultimate on the switch of course
Good to know it worked on Bluetooth!
Is it still working after 2 years ? =)
I also enjoy this controller and am now using it as my main for smash brothers. The main joy stick is great and the octagon is smoother than other wireless GameCube controllers. One thing I don't care for are the L2 and R2 buttons. I prefer the old GameCube style, but other than that I'm really liking it
It definitely feels like a quality product.
Great vid, do you get some snapbacks?
Like, hats? I'm not sure I follow you.
@@brainwabrain No no man he meant snapback on the controller lmao, look up Gamecube controller snapback. It's just an issue that people look out for with different controllers. :o
Ah, sorry. RUclips studio doesn't make it apparent which video the comments are on. I thought it was for a different video. No, I didn't notice any snapback.
This joy can connect to Pc ? xinput? thank you
I've not had any luck getting Switch controllers to connect to PC's. Not done any research on it though.
@@brainwabrain OK thank you
Are the back bumper buttons uncomfortable?
Not really. They feel pretty natural to me.
Hallo, do you know if it is working on Android?
I didn't try it on Android. I kinda doubt it will, but if I find out otherwise I'll let you know.
Nice Video
Thanks!
This and the wired version are the best gamecube-style controllers for Nintendo, even better than the official Nintendo ones
Is it still working good?
It is. However, I don't use it a whole lot.
I wish they cut Motion controls instead of rumble :/
It is better than the wired version in every aspect but one, the lack of textured surface on the back of the grip
The wired version also has the option to swap out the C stick for a regular thumb stick texture, i quite like that
Its always triwing on the outside and phillips inside
Good to know!
I've been using the controller for 4 months and eventually it gave me snapback on both sticks (when you flick with the stick in one direction and the stick instead of returning to the center makes a little travel to the opposite side which makes the character look at the wrong side) its not a big deal in almost any game except super smash bros, so if you want to buy it for smash keep this in mind, other than that it is a good controller, recommended
looking for a controller for ssbu, any other controller recommend?
and…u sure what u describe is not a drifting issue?
@@vegtam8837 nope, not a drifting issue, it just happens when i flick the analog too fast (sorry if my english isn't that good im not a native speaker)
@@vegtam8837 i recommend you this controller, in my opinion the quality feels good and the snapback maybe it's not in every controller, the controller fell off my desk 2 times and it still works perfectly.
@@ryuuseiboy7649 me neither native speaker lol,I bought pdp controller just now, thank you for your reply😽
is it compatible with pc ?
I haven't tried it, but from what I have read, it will work on PC via Bluetooth and Steam. Apparently you have to launch Steam once and enable the Switch Pro controller support. Hope that helps!
Bit pricy for a GameCube controller imo. Maybe im just cheap.
It is a big chunk for a niche market.
Legal!
