Nice comprehensive review! A couple of additional clarifications: The middle seat on the 2nd row was a split booster seat, which pulls up from the front of the seat. Also, when you pull the hand on the 2nd row side seats to access the 3rd row, you can also slide the seat forward several inches for easier access at the same time. Behind the 3rd row, in the cargo area, there is also a neat flip-up panel that can keep things from shifting around if you have the 3rd row down.
Mine (well, technically it's my wife's car for business) finally got here last night. Super stoked!
Gliding around effortlessly without making a sound is really fun.
We have the advanced package and a whole slew of other options. The 8/120,000 mile extended warranty and the 100,000 mile service options made sense to pick up - surprisingly cheap to max out the coverage options, so we went for it. Putting 20~30k miles a year on this thing will be normal, so we will run out of miles before years.
I took delivery of my inscription back in December with the advanced package and I'm simply blown away at all the features. Although this is an EXCELLENT demo, this 42 minute video does not cover ALL OF THE AMAZING FEATURES that this car has, especially if you buy one with the advanced package. I literally can't wait to drive my XC90 every single day. It really is one of the high points of my everyday life. Full disclosure though, if you are obsessive over your media player, you may be grossly disappointed with the USB media player/database. It is very rudimentary in function. It is best used with voice commands. I cannot imagine not owning one now that I have this car. I bought an XC60 for my wife which has about 99% of the features in the '90 and she is totally in love with her car (first time in 25 years for her, too) as well. Volvo for life!!!

An Inscription without the Convenience Package? The Convenience Package has been fairly standard with the R-Design and Inscription trim levels. I thought the Convenience Package was renamed the Advance Package for 2019. This Inscription has no 360 camera, front parking sensors, and no self parking feature. This particular XC90 might as well be a Momentum trim for all the features its missing.
Front parking sensors are good to have. Usable and practical

In Volvo's world, front parking sensors also mean a 360° camera and auto self parking.

Why no there 360 camera
The 360° view camera system is a part of the Convenience package. This car isn’t equipped with that package.
No V6s?
No sir! Volvo does not make anything larger than a 4 cyl as of now in their passenger cars.
Pretty good but your camera movement was making me a little sick. Need better technique at that. Thanks though.
