    Neat birdo!
I got an odd question for you:
Would an Eagle owl be viable against seagulls in an urban setting?

Yes, they will certainly catch seagulls.

I had one on my hand once. It made a beautiful bubbling noise when I petted it! Just don't stand behind one! (They projectile sh*t and believe me it stinks. Missed me by a millimetre!)

Please give this mythical king of owl birds its proper mythical Germanic name: in German "Uhu", in Dutch 'Oehoe", in English that should be "Oohoo", of course from the impressive sound it makes. Here not far from Amsterdam we had a half-domesticated, half-wild one living in a residential erea and constantly harrassing people, he totally earned the nickname in the press of "The Terror-Oohoo".
